My husband & I live in a 2 bedroom townhouse in Mordialloc, Melbourne. We are 5 min drive to beach or 15min walk. We have 2 beautiful, spoilt shelties - Poppet & Ted. I need to go overseas to look after my mother for 8 weeks starting 7th March and as my husband works long hours, we need someone to walk our dogs every morning and evening during the week and give them the attention I usually give when I am there. We would like someone who loves dogs and is sociable. In return for free accommodation, we would only need help about 3 hours a day Monday - Friday with weekends free. We have a good gym in the garage, free wifi, use of bicycle, Foxtel etc.

Come help us turn our ramshackle garden into an organic, permaculture dream!!

We are Pete, Vicky, Morris (our dog). We're also expecting a baby soon! Vicky works full time at a not-for-profit organisation campaigning for a more progressive Australia (working on issues like climate change, refugees and social welfare). Pete is a newly trained-up social worker. Morris is an incredibly friendly white staffy who is universally loved by all he meets.

We live in a part of Melbourne, Australia called the Dandenong Ranges, an area with a bunch of forest national park.

We moved out here from the city recently and we are still getting our garden sorted! We have a block that's nearly an acre, with heaps of potential...But there is a tonne of clearing and other big landscaping to do before we can fulfil our dream of having a permaculture food forest, flower-lined paths, a massive veggie patch, a fernery and lots and lots of edible plants throughout the whole garden.

We hope you'l... more inside
