Our winery is a 100 tonne winery, we have two cellar doors, we do catering / food, and of course there is work on the farm with viticulture and production of wine.

Ideally we need skills in basic house maintenance that may include painting and carpentry, but nothing too strenuous that we wouldn't do ourselves. There are a wide variety of possible jobs to suit your skills, including maintenance, pruning the vines and cooking home style food. There are also helping with bottling (we have a big machine) eg the stacking at either end.

Included accommodation is in a 4 bedroom farm house in the middle of the vines. It is a beautiful environment with mountains to climb and many country lanes to explore. If you have a car it would be great.

A food allowance will be provided for you to self cater from the local store. Go bush walking, bike riding, play with a play station, catch native crayfish. Observe the wallabies eating in the late afternoon. We have a TV and movie library... more inside

Tropical fruit orchard between Bloomfield River and Rossville, 60km south of Cooktown. This family-run property is next to Cedar Bay National Park and is surrounded by World Heritage-listed rainforest.
We have a large variety of exotic fruit trees, a vegie patch, plant nursery, chickens and 2 cats.
We live off-grid, our water comes from the mountain and our power from solar and micro-hydro.
Just me and my son here at the moment so needing a hand with various jobs, which could include orchard and nursery work, gardening, building and roadwork. Some help in the kitchen is appreciated but no other housework needed.
Accommodation is camping only, we can provide tents and bedding and of course you can use the house facilities.
Meals are mainly vegetarian but not strict.
Our driveway is a 2km track and only suitable for 4wd. Other cars can park safely near the main road and we'll help you in with your stuff.

We are in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains area located an hours drive north of Brisbane. Our location is ideal for walking in the Glasshouse Mountains National Park, visiting Australia Zoo and 30 minutes drive to the stunning Sunshine Coast beaches.
We are a quiet household of 2 women (aged in our early 60s), 3 cats and three hens.
For you, we have a self contained shed, with a small kitchen and ensuite bathroom. The bed is queen size. It is a small but comfortable space. We have a swimming pool.
The flat is available from 12 October 2019 - 22 October 2019
For work, the main job will be feeding the cats and the hens, with a little bit of gardening and watering.
It would best suit people with their own transport, but we are happy to pick you up and drop you in Beerwah (there is a rail service).

Seeking a helper who would like a sea change, preferably someone who likes sailing. Someone who can handle helping out with maintenance, painting, cleaning and general boat sea preparedness. I have sailed the Queensland coast, but I do plan to do a shakedown out in the pacific. The boat is currently out on the hardstand, and there won't be any further cruising until it is finished. I could do with a hand now if interested, while I am here. Dean

Hello travellers,

We are a property in outback Queensland and are looking for some people to help out around the farm and the house.
Our station is home to cattle, dogs, chickens and a horse (or maybe two, by the time you get here).

We are looking for help for a couple of weeks, or even days at a time. Your tasks would include, but are not limited to: weeding, gardening and helping around the house.
You need to be abled to work independently. Of course we will train you before your start.

Your own car is an advantage as we are located 36 kilometres from Augathella and 76 kilometres from Morven on an unsealed road. But alternatively we can arrange pick up and drop off from either Morven, Augathella or Charleville.

For a few hours help with daily tasks we will provide accommodation and food in our main house, for a single person or couples.

If you are just looking for a stop over or accomodation on your way through to another place we are pleased to just have have yo... more inside
