Many Australians, Canadians, Brits and Europeans have enjoyed staying on my farm in Conway in the Whitsundays. It is located on a hillside backing onto Cape Conway National Park overlooking water and hills. I live 29 km from the small town of Proserpine and 36 km from the resort town of Airlie Beach. Nearby there are two beaches and Cedar Creek Falls, a great swimming hole.

You can stay in a 2 room screened rain forest cabin complete with comfy beds and table and chairs. I can provide delicious nutritious meals including fresh free range eggs and freshly baked bread. You can enjoy all that in exchange for helping with basic home repairs, clearing and cleaning out my shed, basic household cleaning and gardening.

If you love nature (rain forest, birds, wallabies, butterflies, etc.) you will love my farm, The Rest. I have a friendly well behaved quiet dog and a cute kitten.

I need help immediately for several weeks. Thanks for considering my request.

***We would love to have some helpers starting in July, no availability until then.

We are a young couple with 2 kids (Bodhi 4, Jack 3) and one more on the way! We just moved into our own home in Mackay, a gorgeous area within the Whitsunday region There's plenty to see and do around here if you enjoy the outdoors. The city itself is big, but not too big. It has all the shops you could possibly want, but still has a laid back queensland country town feel. It really is a great place to settle in to and does have a great backpacker scene throughout the year!

We love to get out as often as possible with the kids to visit to visit the regions many splendours ! Our home is very central to town, so very convenient if you don't have your own car. We will be able to transport you around as often as we can, and look forward to touring you around the area to show you the sights over the weekends and as often as we can.

I myself have been a helper all over Australia for 2 years... more inside

NON SMOKERS ONLY

Hi We live in a lovely Queenslander in Dutton Park

I am mum to 10yr old twins Aleksander and Magnus. Sadly my husband died when the twins were nearly 3. In January we moved to Brisbane and we've been living in a unit. I have recently purchased a beautiful Queenslander which is presently having a few renovations.

The work is easy just need help with unpacking, cleaning and generally organize the house, unpacking boxes and helping me with office stuff and trying to sell unwanted stuff on gumtree. The garden needs a tidy.

The photos are from our house in Adelaide, looking forward to updating with new helpers in Brisbane. We are quite close to the city and have excellent transport links. Just up the road you can hire the city bikes and enjoy a cycle into the city or cross the bridge and enjoy the lovely grounds of the University of Queensland

Property is 7 acres (3 hectares) Julatten, 90 minutes north east from Cairns and 30 mins to Port Douglas (gateway to the Barrier Reef). Julatten is on the tablelands and known for its unique location, environment rich in plants and animals, especially birdlife and a beautiful climate. The property is bounded by World Heritage Rainforest and has an incredible array of wildlife. There is a seasonal creek and a dam abundant with ducks. Along with the wildlife, we have 2 horses, 1 dog and 2 cats.

Your own transport and the ability to speak and understand some english would be preferable. Jobs that I would like help with are general garden and farm maintenance, mulching, some fencing, and house cleaning. 4 to 5 hours of work per day in return for breakfast and dinner and accommodation in a friendly & beautiful location. Length of stay would be negotiable.

I am looking for a peaceful, warm-hearted helper to welcome in to my home to help with various household and/or gardening work, depending on your interests. My family and I live in the beautiful Currumbin Valley (southern Gold Coast) surrounded by lush gardens and lots of wildlife - kangaroos outside your bedroom window. There is a beautiful creek and you will also have access to the community swimming pool and library. There are weekly meditation, yoga and qi gung classes held in the village.

We are a family with two young children and we try and fill our house with love, peace, warmth and joy. Any special talents you have such as musical instruments or circus tricks will be warmly welcomed and you will have a keen and receptive audience :-)

Normally I'd expect four hours work a day but I'm flexible in that you could do a full days' work and then have the next day off - I'm more interested in finding the right person to welcome in to my home, and then we can work something ... more inside

We have a chemical free farm, where we raise pastured lamb, heritage breed pigs & laying chickens. Here we focus on a sustainable rotational farming system which requires moving the animals through the pastures daily for some & weekly for others. Welcome to my site. I am looking for up to 2 people at a time, all year round suits me but remember summer time is really hot and humid.

I would love someone who can help with the gardening, painting and general house cleaning. Also be able to do some handy work around the house. Also if needed to drive me to Cairns for doctors appointments I have arthritis and epilepsy so am limited in a lot of things around the house, and the garden area so it gets left out at times.

I have only lived in this house for 4 years and I am still in love with this area. I'm interested in only providing a bed in exchange for a few hrs work a day and weekends off. You will have to provide your own food and prepare it as I'm not a real cook. However I have a great kitchen and you will be very welcome to use all my facilities.

If you love diving then this is a must. Great spots are only half an hour boat trip away, while it's only a two hours drive to Cairns. You have your own bedroom with a qu... more inside
