Hi

We are a busy couple who would love someone who loves to organise to come in and spring clean our house, organising cupboards an sorting out things, and generally keep our house running.

Would be great to have someone who is interested in fitness to cook main meals and help us get back on track for healthy eating and living.

We have some vegetable gardens so if you are interested in growing vegetables etc, that would be great, but not necessary.

Monday to Friday with weekends free, but that can be changed to suit you. Might be good for someone travelling and working part time somewhere else.

thanks

Bev

Hi, we would like to welcome you to Hervey Bay.

We're a friendly family that welcomes helpers to our beautiful part of the world. You'll need to be kid and pet friendly (we have two inside cats and two outdoor dogs. The kid is polite, but the dogs are still learning their manners!).

Breakfast and lunch provided for 2.5 hours work a day. Flexibility for you to work whenever suits you during the day, and you can work more time one day to have time off another (e.g work 3.5 hours for 5 days to get two days off). Work is primarily gardening or light handyperson work, but may include internal painting, general house work and possibly babysitting.

Stay in a private room, with a queen bed, and own bathroom. Free WiFi, use of laundry, currently 1 bicycle and 1 adult scooter for use, but I'm keeping my eyes out for another bike, so doing one up could also be a job if that's something you can do. Individuals, couples or friends welcome.

Our beautiful beach (and shops) are 20... more inside

I am not available for helpers at present as I have just spent the holidays working on my place. Generally my preference is for horticultural or gardening skills. I offer home-style accommodation, a variety of cuisine (vegetarian available), inter-net connection, located 20-25 mins South of Cairns, regular bus transport available. Cairns is one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef. Gordonvale is ideally situated on the Mulgrave River allowing easy access to the Tablelands sitting nicely in between Cairns, Innisfail and Mission Beach, offering beautiful swimming holes, walking tracks, rafting adventures and small town country living. The Queensland style home has a lovely deck opening onto an in-ground salt water pool, surrounded by tropical gardens, in a quiet neighbourhood (more photos available). Guests are invited to do a small amount of light duties, housework, cooking, gardening or maintenance approx. 3 to 4 hrs per day energy exchange for accommodation and meals (shar... more inside

My wife and I live on a 200 acre horse property in a leafy rural area of the Gold Coast hinterland, approx 40 minutes from the Gold Coast beaches and 1 hour from Brisbane. We have a large garden and a number of horses on our property.

We are seeking help in our garden - weeding, mulching, planting and trimming plants, as well as general maintenance and tidy up, household cleaning, and windows cleaning. The main work is gardening and weeding, so we are looking for helpers who love the outdoors and don't mind getting their hands dirty. Gardening experience is preferable - wiper snipper, hedging, trimming etc.

This opportunity would best suit a couple travelling together, but we would also consider a single traveller. We can provide beautiful accommodation for your stay - a separate private granny flat with its own queen bed, two single beds, bathroom, TV room, and kitchen. It is preferable that you have your own car to explore the area - the beaches at the Gold Coast, Mt Tambor... more inside

We have only been back on the family farm about a year so we are still settling in to our new home (but an old house) and the garden is still a big work in progress. Aggie could use some help around the home and with our active 4 year old as we also have a little girl who will be one in May so life is extra busy! We have spent the last few years in lots of places - Scotland/UK, Europe, Kununurra, Broome, Charleville, so we are looking forward to settling down a little but want to have some travel experience by having travellers come to us!

The farm has been in the family for 100 years and currently supports 4 families, this includes 3 generations with grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and 2 very busy 4 year olds and 2 toddlers!

We have lots of work to do in the garden as the goal is to be self sufficient in a few years time! We also have plans involving some tourism ventures in the future so there is lots to keep busy with!

In exchange for your labour you will be hosted with e... more inside

Maryborough is one of the oldest heritage cities in Australia. Located along the Mary River which meanders through the town, it is a very picturesque town, with many old beautiful Queenslander houses (one of which we own). It is the birthplace of the author of Mary Poppins - P L Travers. You can have your photo taken with her statue in town.

Maryborough is located in the Wide Bay area near Hervey Bay and Fraser Island and both are accessible via public transport (buses - and to Fraser Island, a Barge from River Heads) within 30 minutes.

Our home is a private residence and we are nearly finished in returning our home to its original look. We have already started but as my husband is working fulltime its difficult to get things done quickly. We have hosted a number of times, for 2 Japanese teachers (at separate times) 2 weeks each and for a German girl for 2 months who volunteered at the Wildlife Sanctuary just outside of Maryborough.

Accommodation is in a private room... more inside
