We are a small family of 3, Colm, Muireann and our son Ruben. We speak some French, although it is a bit rusty having not used it for a few years!

We live about 2km from Ballydehob village in West Cork (close enough to walk). This is a very friendly and beautiful part of the country with mountains, forests, beautiful beaches and islands all very near. There are lovely walks, cycling routes, markets, good pubs, coffee shops, music and several local festivals throughout the summer.

We are looking for self-motivated people to come help us this summer. The work is varied and can be gardening, clearing, painting, DIY, carpentry jobs around the annexe and house.
We will also need somebody who can take on a bit of child minding. We both work mostly from home but we will need someone to watch our son Ruben (5 years old) some mornings days. He's sociable and loves playing and being outdoors so can be fun to hang out with!

We can offer you your own private accommodation in our anne... more inside

I live in an old farmhouse, which is unfinished. I need help with the house and the garden, which is organic. STARTING RIGHT AWAY throughout summer and beyond, for short stays or long stays. Jobs would include weeding, mowing, strimming, raking gravel, tidying the sheds. House work could include normal housework, some building work or chopping wood. It's a very relaxed house and I work alongside you as much as possible. I really enjoy having people in the house, and love cooking for them. I had three woofers staying last year, and we worked together and enjoyed being together. I also brought them to Kilkenny to hear Irish music, and arranged for one of them to have homestays with four other families, after his stay with us, as he wanted to see more of Ireland.

The house is close to the river, and you can cycle or walk in to Graiguenamanagh beside the river (walking takes about 1.5 hours. I can usually give you a lift in to a couple of nearby towns (about 10-15 mins drive away)... more inside
