A beautiful chateau overlooking a national park that is run by Paul & Zoe who have 2 children aged 16 & 19 years. We have a large gite which sleeps 8 people, 2 gypsy caravans and a camp site for 25 tents. We always need help to set up the camp site pre-season so jobs include alot of cleaning, gardening, mowing, fence repairing, caring for animals - the list goes on and on.

We would prefer a couple who have initiative and good work ethics. The accommodation provided is in the chateau. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom. We love to eat and always prepare fresh food every day. People who eat everything are welcomed!

Our nearest train station is 12km away and the direct line to Paris which is 2hours. We have bikes to go exploring on.

30 hours a week which can be taken to suit the couples needs. We have had lots of people help us over the years which has always been a positive experience and we really look forward to welcoming new people to our home.

Hello,
If you want to know life in a place of great tranquility of the countryside, on a moyennageux site, I give you an appointment here.
We are looking for motivated people who want to live an adventure out of time. Here we love nature, ancient architecture, calm; we are good cooks, rather artists and during the spring months we face in the grass and brambles that grow too fast for us! We need valiant arms to manipulate mower and débrouissailleuse on a large lot and the towers of the old castle in ruins!
So if you think you fit this profile, for 2, 3 or 4 weeks, and you speak a little French and want to talk more after, come see us !!! Those who have been there have been bad to leave .....
See you soon!

We work for the safeguarding and valorization of the mills which constitute the 3rd heritage in France after castles and churches. My husband (Keith) and I (Helen ... Aitch) have lived permanently in France since 2004. We live in an 'ex dairy farm' house and have about a hectare of land including a little woodland that runs down to the river.
The house has a history dating back to the Revolution in the late 1700's and is in the heart of rural Normandy. We are deep in the Normandy countryside and very tranquil.
Most of the land is used for our pet animals (mostly rescued), 2 donkeys, 4 sheep, 2 geese, 5 ducks and 4 chickens. We have a tortoise, 5 house dogs, 5 'garage' cats, 2 outside cats and 1 house cat.
I am vegetarian, my husband is a meat eater (and also the chef).
We teach English to foreign students during the school holidays ... ages range from 11 to 60 and they can stay with us for a couple of days or up to 6 weeks.
I am interested in art (and have a studio), ceramics, photography, animals, nature. My husband shares my interest in nature and animals and also plays badminton and football (March to ... more inside
