We are a married couple in their 30's with 3 children. We live on a beautiful lifestyle property 15minutes out of Whangarei with a farm-feel-having a car would be a bonus but not compulsory. Looking for a couple for 1-2 weeks in March.

Life is busy and we don't have time to manage the garden so mainly looking for a couple to come and help out. Would love our children to also meet people from overseas, and have some help in the house.

We expect 4 hours work per day and looking for someone to come for around 7-10days, What jobs?
- Gardening
- Trimming hedges
- Jobs in and around the house
- Weeding
- Cutting back garden
- Cooking

We would include you part of our family and you would be well-fed. The room has a double bed and comes with wi-fi. Shared bathroom with kids.

If you are wanting to expereince the North and want to live in a kiwi-family situation then this is perfect.

Hey there! We are a family of 4 with two young children living on the seaside in McLeods Bay in Whangarei Heads. We are keen surfers with plenty of great breaks nearby. We eat mostly organic and are happy to feed you breakfast and dinner over the course of your stay. We are seeking help with the extensive weeding that needs to be done on our property to help give the native bush space to come away. We also have some building projects that we would like help with. We can host people for a maximum of one week. You will have your own cabin and bathroom seperate from our house. The shower is cold water only but that doesn’t seem to bother most people at this time of year. Our property has beach access and we have kayaks that you are welcome to use. Experience landscaping or building would be awesome but not a necessity - we can help to show you what to do. Ideally you would have your own transport so that you can get yourselves around and about to explore this beautiful area. We are hop... more inside

Hi, now looking for helpers for basic general work, property clean up/fencing preferably 2 or maybe 3 helpers. Painting experience could also be helpful as small room needs painting. We have 20 acres with epic views of the ocean, Poor Knights Islands etc. 3 minute drive or 15min walk to stunning beach which is often very little people etc. Stunning place to live the rural coastal life. We are easy going and have 2 amazing kids, ages 5 & 8. Great surfing/fishing area. Very private property and accommodation. Enjoy this wonderful coastline rated as one of the best in the world by National Geographic traveller magazine. Very easy going happy family where music and friends sometimes gather. look forward to your replies thanks :) good and happy ... more inside

You will find us nestled in the bush 30kms east of Whangarei at Pataua North. The river is at the end of our driveway perfect for fishing and kayaking. The surf beach is an easy 7kms away and we have surf boards and kayaks available to use. Working with us is mainly weeding and potting plants in our plant nursery located on our property and helping out at the Whangarei Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Generally work is 4 hours per day but help in the kitchen is always appreciated. We have a cabin available with a small bedroom containing single bunk beds and its own shower and kitchenette, or there is an option to stay in a room in the house. We are a married couple with 3 teenage children who come and go and a small dog.

We currently have a vacancy. A couple would be great, or a couple of friends who don't mind sharing a large queen bed! Singles also welcome.

There are two 1000 metre greenhouses which we used recently to grow calla lily flowers for export but no longer do these, and succulents (over 70 types) for garden shops, Trademe and the local farmer's market. You can see some of them here: https://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=1135847

We usually have a few cattle, and a timid little girl dog. In winter we have citrus fruit here which starts just when the fejoas are finished. Right now we have lots of mandarins. We also have an orchard with plums, peaches, apples, pears, nashi and others. All are eat as much as you want. None of the fruit trees have ever been sprayed because we have never got around to it. They also need a good prune so if you have any skills there it would be great.

Our property is divided by a semi-permanent creek which we've been told has good siz... more inside

Hi , I'm Pete.
I have a 5 hectare farmlet in the Bay of Islands NZ.
I also have a 15 meter live aboard trawler style launch with sails , this is where i spend most of the time . We are based in Paihia but do travel around NZ waters and some winters head to Fiji and surrounding islands in the south pacific .
I am happy to provide a place on the boat and to share my knowledge of the ocean environment to those interested .
In general the ideal length of stay is one week and up to four weeks .
The boat is safe and comfortable and my experience as a skipper is extensive .
In exchange for this unique experience aboard i need help with the never ending maintenance the comes with boats , mostly polishing the metal work , general cleaning and some painting , oh and some cooking , though i am a good cook it is always nice to have meals from other cultures .
If you are a fast learner and easy going attitude and would like this experience then please do get in touch , thank you .
