We are a family with two kids aged 13 and 11. We run our family's beef farm and also have a farmstay on the west coast.

We are into everything horsey, out doors and farm.
We are looking for a confident horse rider to help with the ponies/horses.
Some daily house duties.

Don't need to be a world class jumps rider but must be a good confident rider out in large spaces on a big horse.
If you had lessons once a week 10 years ago this probably isn't for you.

Lots of riding to be had for the right person/people.

See our farm stay website link above for pictures of the farm.

We have had awesome helpx people so far and look forward to sharing our home with someone new.

Suit one or two people.
Would also suit couples/friends where one rides and the other helps on the farm or in the house.
Available now.

We live in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house close to Auckland's CBD, with lovely views towards the city. Quiet street, close to public transport or an easy 25-minute walk to the city centre. Our home and garden are smoke free.

We are looking for helpers who want to stay for one week, with skills and experience in general household cleaning and cooking; gardening or landscaping; exterior painting; handy-work and maintenance; carpentry, building or cabinet making. The work will be done at our home and at our rental properties.

We share evening meals and helpers will be expected to make some of these meals during their stay. This means confidence (and cleanliness!) in the kitchen is important, including making vegetarian food. Our evening meals are pretty healthy and are generally either vegetarian or fish/ seafood based. (In summer, sometimes Keith cooks meat on the BBQ outside. We don't cook meat inside the house).

We would like a single guy with a great attitude and good English to help us with spring tasks in our garden like weeding, waterblasting paths, chopping bamboo, mulching garden beds, turning compost beds.

Generally we work for 4 hours a day, or perhaps 8 hours with the following day off, we are flexible. In return we offer accommodation in your own double room with shared bathroom, meals and free wifi. We enjoy cooking, especially Italian and Indian dishes, make our own bread and museli, have free-range eggs, and a large private garden and vegetable patch. We have travelled a lot and love having people to stay with us.

We are a 10 minute walk to the village of Swanson and train station with service to the city. If you have a car we are close to the west coast beaches and bushwalks. We live in a 2 bedroom cottage with our 18 year old cat and 8 chickens. Strictly non-smokers only.

If you available now, we look forward to hearing from you!

We are a male couple in our 40's. We live in the rural area of Bombay, south of Auckland and at the start of the Waikato. We are close to the motorway, 45 minutes drive to Auckland and 1 hours drive to Hamilton.

Originally from Australia, we moved to NZ in 2008 and purchased a 100 year old wooden house set amongst approximately half a hectare of landscaped ornamental and edible gardens with 8 hectares of undulating grazing land dissected by various streams. We have a flock of chickens producing fresh eggs.

We both work full-time and have lots of jobs that need doing. These include ongoing garden maintenance, home renovation and improvement projects and land rehabilitation work such as fencing and planting. Anyone competent to help around the house/garden would be much appreciated.

We have a large spare room with a queen size bed, ideally suited for a couple or friends who don't mind sharing, with shared bathroom facilities. In exchange for 4 hours work per day we... more inside

Kia ora guys, We live in a small west coast beach village about 40 minutes from central Auckland called Muriwai Beach. It is one of NZ`s most stunning and wildest beaches. We have a half acre section that always needs little things doing and the house is slowly being worked on as well so experience in building or skilled labour is always cool as well as people who like to work in the gardens and landscape. We have a daughter who is 9 years old who loves playing in the outdoors, tending her veggie garden and meeting people from all over the world. If you like the beach and the wild west coast then I`m sure you will love it out here. I work in the television and film industry while my partner is a a musician. Drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself and maybe you can come out and share some of the magic that we feel living here. Cheers. Toby, Moana and Manawanui.
