I live in a large five bedroom villa in central ponsonby.I have two rooms on Airbnb and would like to offer a free room and food in exchange for some daily cleaning during the week, help making rooms up and cooking of meals.
The house is really amazing and close to everything in central auckland.
This would suit a backpacker or traveller 25-45 who is wanting to save some money, perhaps whilst they are also working.Ideally the stay would be for minimum two weeks.

Not available over the xmas holiday.

Hi there,

We always appreciate some help with the kids and some help around the house.

This time of year there is plenty of horse work, chasing sheep and cattle around, picking fat lambs, weaning ... so if you're a keen horsewoman I'd love to hear from you!

My Mum often looks after the kids, and Bella goes to childcare twice a week, so you will get plenty of opportunities to come out on the farm, and ride the horses.

We are a traditional New Zealand farming family, been here for generations (5th up and coming).

Our extended family, mainly breed Sheep and Cattle (for wool & meat). We also rear and fatten dairy bulls, on 2000 acres.

Other animals include - Horses/Ponies, Dogs, Wild Goats, Peacocks, Turkeys, Geese, Deer and Ducks ...

You'll have the opportunity to be part of a NZ farming family.

Glen Murray is a thriving community & a beautiful part of New Zealand!

We enjoy the company of outgoing, motivated, fun people, that have a passion for life. ... more inside

We are originally from Germany and by now almost Kiwis. We enjoy meeting people from all cultures and walks of life. Our organic garden provides delicious fruit and veggies most of the year. We aspire to work as sustainable as possible with solar water heating, solar power production, rainwater collection and eco friendly materials around the place. Our property is close to beaches and bush overlooking the beautiful Manukau Harbour and still close to the city. You will have the use of a separate bathroom and stay in a lovely, small private studio in the garden surrounded by Nikau Palms. The bus stop is just 50 meters away and we are happy to take you to the next public transport hub or wherever you need to go.
Roland works with sustainable timber in his workshop as a cabinet and furniture maker.
We welcome people with general maintenance skills and to help in the garden and around the house and anybody who is interested in a more sustainable living experience.
We are looking for... more inside

Hi - we are a couple of 60+ year olds, still young at heart who have regularly enjoyed company from around the globe. We have a lifestyle block which we affectionately call our life sentence block because there is always work needing to be done. We have a little slice of paradise less than an hour (non peak traffic times) from downtown Auckland. Set in resort-like surroundings with a swimming pool and man-cave, our home is a great place to drop your travel bags, and relax a while. Lex has been in a car accident and is now in a wheelchair, but has all the knowledge and tools to give you a great NZ rural experience. We need independent helpers with outdoor skills to keep our little place running and tidy. We specifically need help with a variety of tasks eg gardening, controlling weeds and tasks to keep our land and home under control. Ability to drive a tractor or use power tools would be useful. Lex also has a military vehicle he is restoring and loves a hand with that too. We reall... more inside

WE ARE CURRENTLY RENOVATING OUR BEDROOM AND SLEEPING IN THE SPARE ROOM SO WE CAN ONLY HOST 1 PERSON IN THE OFFICE UNTIL THE WORK IS COMPLETED (HOPEFULLY IN THE EARLY 2019)

We are a male couple in our 40's. We live in the rural area of Bombay, south of Auckland and at the start of the Waikato. We are close to the motorway, 45 minutes drive to Auckland and 1 hours drive to Hamilton.

Originally from Australia, we moved to NZ in 2008 and purchased a 100 year old wooden house set amongst approximately half a hectare of landscaped ornamental and edible gardens with 8 hectares of undulating grazing land dissected by various streams. We have a flock of chickens producing fresh eggs.

We both work full-time and have lots of jobs that need doing. These include ongoing garden maintenance, home renovation and improvement projects and land rehabilitation work such as fencing and planting. Anyone competent to help around the house/garden would be much appreciated.
