We are a small and young farm progressing towards an organic certification. We strive towards applying ethics and principles of permaculture. We are committed to grow organic and nutrient dense produce, have extensive gardens and orchard, which we planted a year ago and a growing family of 3 young daughters and a baby to welcome to our family in mid September. Our homesteading life includes growing most of our food in gardens and orchard, home education, running heritage free range chicken and a small family of South Devon cattle.

As we are still in the process of developing our property we seek hard working helping hands and enthusiastic minds and bonus is keen interest in permaculture and organic gardening/agriculture. We love to meet enthusiastic helpers who have skills to share and a positive attitude. We will work alongside you and provide guidance and try to be outside as much as possible, working around our commitments with our work and homeschool activities.

Hi Everyone,

We are a young relaxed family, looking for a team of 2 energetic travellers to help with household jobs mainly gardening, painting or depending on your skills what ever else you suggest around our home.

You will have a basic sleeping setup, your own caravan (with a glimpse of ocean views) and share our inside bathroom. We live close to Cooks Beach, a short drive from Hahei/Cathedral Cove, whitianga and are surrounded by many great walking tracks.

We'll do our best to let you try some locally caught fish while you are here. You will need your own car as it is a little hard to get around our area without one but will be well worth it when you are here!

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Everyone!
We are looking for Helpers from early September.

We need TWO helpers who are traveling together as you will share the room you sleep/live in. We have recently renovated the room with new carpet, new lino, new bathroom sink and cabinets, new benchtop for food prep, so it looks pretty good :). Hahei is pretty remote so having your own vehicle is a VERY good thing.

We live in Hahei on the beautiful East coast of the Coromandel Peninsula and need help mostly cleaning and for general jobs at the place including gardening and some maintenance.

Your accommodation is a self-contained room, with own shower and toilet,TV, Fridge, etc and we provide food, Wifi, laundry, pick ups and drop offs in return for 4 hours for 6 days of the week.

The beach is a short walk and Cathedral Cove is about 1 hour to walk. However beach is 9kms to the south and you can get your own free hot pool on the beach!

. We have dairy farm located in a beautiful valley south of thames. At present we need one person to assist with feeding calves and gardening. The area is great as a base for exploring the wider area especially the Coromandel. Roughly 1 1/2 hours to rotorua, waitomo caves. Wonderful bush walks etc within walking distance of the farm. In return for the work we believe that our farm offers travellers the chance to experience the culture of a fully working dairy farm. We are up a no exit road so there is no public transport. Experienced horse riders an advantage. You also need to be prepared to stay for at least 10 days

Also looking for helpers around Christmas and all of January :)

Hello,

We operate a family camping ground & are located alongside the Tapu River in the valley on the Tapu Coroglen Road (Tapu side). There are multiple beautiful swimming holes all around us as well as the beach just being 2 minutes down the road.

Our water comes from the mountain above us, we recommend you boil water or fill up from the Main house. The water you swim is, is the same you shower in. Right back to nature.

We are looking for helpers to help around our camping ground in exchange for a camping space where you use your own sleeping arrangements (e.g Campervan, sleeping vehicle, tent) & we cook dinner every 2nd night :)

We have a communal BBQ, Pizza Oven & modern bathrooms.

We would require 3 hours everyday of work each morning ... more inside

We are a small farm running to permaculture principles. We have a self built strawbale home and an ongoing interest in alternative building.

Animals on the farm include: cows including a house cow, sheep, chickens and donkeys. We also have vegetable gardens of various styles and we experiment with different ways to make the most of the poor soils here. We make many things for ourselves including: preserves, smoothies, cheese, soap, furniture, sewing and building. We are in a beautiful area next to the Coromandel Forest Park and the Te Mata river that has many swimming holes.
We prefer helpers with a genuine interest in permaculture/organic farming.

Hi there,
I am now in Tahiti on my sailboat... Soo now the position is for Tahiti.
I am looking for a person who loves the ocean and enjoying life... to help out with some cleaning and maintenance on my sailboat. As well as some organic gardening in tahititi. Accomodation on board is a single bed in own cabin. Some time will also be spent on the farm, doing some different work but mainly will be on the boat. The boat has a toilet shower kitchen and dining area. I like to use the boat so will likely be going surfing, snorkelling and diving. So would really suit someone who enjoys time on the ocean and the land. I am vegetarian but do eat some fish. I Am in Tahiti and am currently learning French... slowly =-) I also speak some Spanish. Having grown up on boats I know the area well and enjoy to get out there to the local islands and enjoy tahiti from the water. Let me know if this sounds like something that might suit you... Churrrr
