Our house is a mid-century 4 bedroom which we are renovating (slowly) with large gardens that need constant attention. There is a city bus stop close by, we are 10 minutes drive from the Waipa mountain biking tracks, and Whakawerawera thermal village. We are 5 mins drive from downtown Rotorua and the city hot pools. We also have WIFI. We have loved having Helpx. Those helpers who have come to stay with us have done a fabulous job and we have really enjoyed getting to know all of them. There is always gardening, housework and cooking meals. We prefer helpex with practical experince and skills particularly at the moment as we are trying to get our property tidy for the summer. We are non-smokers and mostly organic vegetarian. Trish is an artist and Martin enjoys drumming and mountain biking. Contact us by emailing so we can see your profile, and then text us, especially if you want a quick response as sometimes we dont check our email daily. We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Helpxers,

I own a small holding farm containing a few animals like cattle, horses, sheeps, chickens, dogs and cats, on which I live by myself.
The accomodation includes a detached room with 2 single beds, a microwave, TV, a hotwaterjug, fridge and some dishes. Comes with own private toilet. All meals are provided. I supply all food shared with me in my outside kitchen. Prefer helpers to cook evening meal and eaten together. Bikes supplied if helpers wish to ride near-by trails. At the township of Kawerau there are free hot pools, further out is a unique waterfall and bush trails to other lakes.
I am situated In the Bay Of Plenty on State Highway 34 near Kawerau.
This area is known as the sunshine capital. The beach is a mare 15 minute drive where you can fish or take a tour of our active volcano on White Island in Whakatane, this area has a lot to see and do.

Hi there. My name is Pete, and in addition to running my own electrical contracting business I have just made a career change to follow a lifelong passion I have had for health and fitness.

From October 2018 I will begin the 3 month task of fitting out a new small gym (264m2) in Mount Maunganui (1 hr north of Rotorua). Help needed with relocating, cleaning and carefully painting equipment and machines and fitting out the gym with mirrors, lights, projector etc... I would also like help with graphic design/logos for gym branding, website and promotional videos.

If you can help with any of the above and are passionate about training/healthy life style please get in touch with me.

If you are keen and enthusiastic to help me then I will go out of my way to to help you??

Hi all you lovely travellers to and through our homeland :-)

Are you fit? We are not as fit as we used to be, our age is overtaking our physical abilities so we really do appreciate those who are more physically able.

We look forward to meeting more of you amazing HelpXers!

Would you like to come and stay? Do contact us.

You will be living with us, have your own room (queen-sized bed) and your meals with us. There is no bus service - however on days off we are happy to take you to the bus services or negotiate transport.

We are willing to negotiate on work timetable so that we all have a good experience.

We are really enjoying the quieter, bird filled environment. We moved here on the 22 December 2006. We and lots of HelpXers have been working hard and our To-Do List is moving along (but we still have improvements marked as a work in progress). Upgrading the kitchen and outside cladding has commenced.

Gardens need attention! Another outside chore that ... more inside

**Currently seeking someone for January 2019**

Us:
I’m Dan and he’s Sam, brand new to HelpX! We’re a young gay couple living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty Region. :-)
Both born in NZ.
Sam often works away from home and Dan works full-time plus studies – hence why we need some help around the property!
We eat everything! But we are also open to eating less meat – vegans or vegetarians welcome if you can teach us how to cook it! Gluten free/dairy free also welcome.
We do not smoke or drink. If you want a drink with your meal that's okay :-)
Dan also used to be a baker, so we can bake some traditional NZ things together!

Our Property:
We own 0.80+ hectares where we breed coloured sheep. We also have chickens and 3 cats. We’ve recently planted hundreds of native trees which are now growing. We have a small orchard of fruit trees and a vege patch.
Our property is situated just 15 minutes’ drive North of Tauranga/Mount Maunganui and about the same south of Katikati. We l... more inside

Sunny cottage, nestled in peaceful paradise against farm and bush reserve with lots of native bird life, and cottage gardens. I am a hard working solo mum (scientist) who works long hours
therefore my garden has over grown and I need help to weed gardens carefully and mow lawns, stack firewood, and maybe some painting etc. But experience with gardening is preferred.

There is a spare sunny room accessible off the back porch where you would stay, you'd have to share bathroom and facilities in the house with me. 2 comfortable single beds. Wifi free but NO downloading or live streaming sorry and I don't have Sky TV. NO SMOKERS please.

Some lake-side walking tracks leave from the property. You would enjoy the local area most if you have your own CAR, but I can pick you up from the bus if you have none.

Just 4-5 days is okay.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
4 hours work a day in exchange for 2 meals per day.
I look forward to hearing from you!
