Kia ora,

Reasonably chilled out easy going people, enjoy a chat and a glass of wine over a home cooked farm dinner, watching the all blacks around the fire.

We have 17 horses with 5 currently in work for the races.

We would like help with gardening, window cleaning, and a little bit of equine work like brushing and general stable work. Feeding out.

Anyone who likes cooking is most welcome (we have a huge kitchen).

We are located 40 minutes to Mt Maunganui, 2hrs 30 to the closest snow field. 2hrs 30 to Auckland airport, 20 minutes easy drive to Rotorua City, the redwoods and adventure tourism. Rafting and river activities very close too.

We would prefer helpers who love the outdoors.

Helpers would have their own room with a double bed and ensuite, we can include extra beds and there is also an additional room spare. All are connected to the garage that separates you from the house.

Good hearty country meals provided, fresh farm eggs (when laying) and home kil... more inside

Kia ora, we're looking for some help with some "getting ready for Summer" jobs around the place. We have space for a friendly easy going twosome, either a couple or two friends travelling together, or someone travelling by themselves who would like to stay with a family. No experience is necessary as we are happy to show you how to do new things and will often be working alongside you.

Ideally you will have your own transport in order to maximise your time off and make the best of your stay with us, although, if you're happy to hang out at home or catch the bus around town, then a car is not necessary.

You will have a large room with it's own bathroom just a 1 minute walk from the main house. We have reasonable access to internet. There will be plenty of time off and good food.

Our place is located 25 mins from Tauranga and 35 mins from Rotorua. We are 5 mins drive from a kiwi conservation area with great bush walks, glowworm grotto, and there are thermal hot pools in ... more inside

Located in the middle of upmarket suburbia this original old farm house is surprisingly still secluded. My home is surrounded by trees and two classic old farm sheds including a 1918 board & batten shearers shed where I operate my dog grooming business. With a large property & old house there is often maintenance to do, both in the garden & on the house. You would work 4hrs a day per nights stay. The guest room is included in the photos. I live with one very sociable designer doodle. There is a bus stop near my gate and shops just 10 minutes walk away. I can pick you up from central by arrangement & depending on my time available.

Current work to do:
I donít need any helpers at the moment. I will update my profile when this changes.

Having travelled extensively in the past, I look forward to meeting travelers & making them feel at home.

My husband and I have been hosting woofers for more than 10 years, with some time of interruption. Now we joined HelpX , because we do not need help all year round.
We are looking for mature and self motivated helpers. If you had your own transport that would be a great advantage.
We have some normal spring maintenance mainly outside in the Garden/ around the house/ Spring Clean.
That would be from the 15. October onwards for 1 week to 10 days, depends wether we get a couple or a single person.
We also have 27 cattle, 9 calfs, 7 goats and about 7 or 8 deer on our property.
Looking forward to hear from the right person / people who are interested to help out and have an mature attitude.
We offer good food ( 3 meals per day and more) and accommodation for 4-5 hours work - also free wifi and washing.
Our property is 16 km outside of beautiful Whakatane/Ohope - lots of things to do in the area.
Minimum stay at least a week preferably more.

Best regards Katharina & Paul

We have a kiwifruit orchard 5 mins drive (5km) from Te Puke. It is 15 mins drive to the beach and 40 mins to Rotorua. Supermarket is 5 mins drive away in town.

There is a native bush reserve on our property with a small cabin overlooking it. It sleeps two comfortably (two single beds), it has solar power with lighting, a gas cooker and fridge. There is a separate flush toilet with handbasin. Washing is either cold shower outside (summer only!) or at the owners house. There is mobile reception and phone charger in the cabin.

We are ideally wanting a couple who are fit, enthusiastic, non smoking and with a happy outlook on life that wants a few days accommodation in exchange for 2 hours work a day. They would be self sufficient and happy to cook their own meals. This would suit a couple that enjoy the outdoors and don't mind "no frills" living for a few days.

Most of the regular tasks on the orchard require experienced workers so visitors with no experience would be helping... more inside

NAUMAI, HAEREMAI. Welcome! We are an older couple living on ancestral land in the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty and when we arenít visiting friends and family around the world, we are busy growing, harvesting and packing avocados and feijoas for local and export markets. This keeps us pretty busy with feijoa season lasting from late March through to early June, then pruning takes over until about the end of July. Then we get a bit of a break and head off orchard to visit our two beautiful grand children living in Australia and some travelling with Volunteer Service Abroad until avocado season begins around the end August until Xmas.

It is quite a big orchard and takes up a lot of time and energy, and as we get older it gets harder to keep up with our vege and flower gardens, all the other usual jobs and of course travel! So, here we are looking for help for up to 5 days a week for at least 6 hours a day in exchange for food and board in a private cottage with full internet acce... more inside

Tree planting, make wind break, duck housing, new fences and getting ready for spring planting projects!!

Come stay with us for a minimum 3days, you can even stay longer if it works well for us. Must like animals, we have a friendly dog, ducks, horses and lamb (baby sheep).

We are a young couple and we live in Waihau Bay, 1 and half hours drive from Opotiki town. (Nearest town!)

We would love a bit of help on our journey to organic living and self-sufficiency/permaculture lifestyle with others like-minded.

We are 5mins walk to private beach and 1 min walk to wild native bush with fresh water creek. Drinking water is fresh spring water, full of life giving energy.

Lots to explore, we can go on walking adventures, you can go fishing/collect mussels, swimming, do meditation, yoga or just relaxing, watch amazing sunrise/sunsets.
Great place to grow your inner peace, take time reflect on your journey and further planning of your adventures.
