Kia ora helpers!
Our beautiful home is in the middle of Honeymoon Valley, surrounded by native bush - remote and relaxingly quiet! We built this house with mud-bricks from local clay and we created roof gardens.

We live 20 min drive from Taipa, Doubtless Bay, 330 km North of Auckland. The subtropical Far North of NZ is the 'birthplace' of New Zealand/Aotearoa, as we know it today and has significant historic sights and stories.

We are part of a land-care group protecting our forest and native birds by trapping predators and we eradicate invasive plants to make room for native bush. We have no TV and limited WIFI. There is a river to swim in and lots of nature to explore. We have a piano, a guitar, and drums. We like music, singing, nature, films, literature and art.

We need help with chopping fire wood, gardening, orchard work, renovating (fixing wood work, painting), sewing, cleaning, maintenance, collecting seeds, chickens, home-brew beer, baking bread, in season - ma... more inside

Hi, we're after a couple or two friends to help with various jobs around the place. We're in the process of renovating a building to move our brewery into and to set up a tap room. Must be self motivated and have own transport.
You will be staying in our house in a nice double room with expansive views. We have a pool which you can use.
For 4 hours work each person per day we will provide breakfast, lunch and evening meal and accommodation.
Some work will be working alongside us and other work will be on your own. We are pretty flexible with hours. Eg. you can work more hours some days and have other days off to check out the beautiful Far North.

Drop us a line if you're keen.
Cheers
Rob and Caroline

This is an exclusive farm stay with 2 self catering cottages (up to 14 guests). A big organic veggie garden, little orchard and big sup tropical garden makes it quite unique.
We also have a big hydroponic lettuce set up with 10,000 - 11,000 lettuces. Operates all year around. Always great food!!

I have a lovely 3 bedroom cottage in Kawakawa, Bay of Islands. I am looking for a single person or a couple to help me in the garden and clean out my garage, which is a mess I'm afraid after some renovations! I would like some help with light house work also. I would appreciate someone with experience with gardening, able to mow a lawn and do some weeding. In return for 4-5 hours a day and days off to explore the area, I will provide a very comfortable bed, plenty of great food and unlimited wifi. I am an easy walk to supermarket, library, post office, shops and cafe. And a short drive to lovely walks, beaches, restaurants and cafes. Must like cats!

We are Maureen and Steve. We have a small hobby farm close to Whangaroa Harbour. We have a cat, chickens and sheep in addition to a large garden, a recently planted orchard and grounds that we are developing.

We use sprays and chemicals sparingly. We are also caretakers of a magnificent bush remnant that we have started doing pest control in.

We are looking for helpers to do a variety of tasks on our small holding. These tasks would include working in our organic gardens, small building projects, landscaping, general maintenance work, caring for animals and pest control.

Our preference is for couples or independent singles as you may often be working by yourself/ves. We prefer those who can stay for a week minimum. During Labour weekend (26 - 28 October) you would have the weekend free but would be expected to feed yourselves.

You have your own space whilst you are here. 3 rustic ex Department of Conservation cabins serve as very comfortable and welcoming accomm... more inside

I live on an organic farm about 15km from Kerikeri. It's a short walk to Lake Manuwai which is great for swimming and kayaking. There are beautiful bushwalks close by, a canyon and the Kauri forest.
I am developing the property by planting a native forest, a vinyard, fruit and vegetables. For around 4 hours help mostly outside (weather dependent) you get good food and accommodation with your own room and bathroom.
I love eating good food, yoga, fishing, swimming, travelling, music and good company.

Waterfront accommodation in two fully self-contained cottages. No children as accommodation marketed to couples only. The property promotes landscaped gardens where guests can enjoy tranquillity and privacy. Kayaks can be launched from the front lawns enabling guests to enjoy the waters of a virtually private cove.

Seeking 1 or 2 single french women (non smokers only and no pets). Definitely no couples. Helping hours could be 4-5 hours in a day for 5 -6 days in a week. Assistance sought will include light gardening duties, cottage cleaning on departure of guests and sharing cooking meals for the two or three of us. I have been enjoying experimenting with French cooking and would appreciate learning more French cooking tips.

I have travelled in France for several months each year for the last 3 years. This year I undertook a 3 month french language course living in Biarritz. In return for assisting with your development of English speaking skills I would love to practice Frenc... more inside
