Will you be our next Helper(s)? We've had some truly lovely travellers stay with us, and their help has been awesome. Our farm is mixed stock (cattle, horses, hens, pets etc) in a quiet, attractive, private valley, with an older traditional partly-renovated wooden farmhouse. We are developing the gardens, natural bush areas and wetlands. The gardens normally grow a lot of our food, & our hens are free-range. The property is entirely independent for power, with mainly solar power. We enjoy sharing the area with travellers, and also board/card games, laughter, stories. We offer meals and accommodation for 4 hours help daily per adult. Activities may include gardening, developing native areas/gardens, chores, or similar. For safety reasons we are a non-smoking property. Excitingly, as we develop more of the bush and gardens, the native birds are increasing... Weka, Kea, Bellbirds, Tui, Koreru, Fantails, Morepork, Bush Robins etc.
We are just one hour from all 3 National Parks so are ... more inside
