'We aren't creating paradise, we are already in paradise!'
This permaculture home, garden and party house has been created by myself and my mates, bit by bit, over 10 years. In the summer its a festival here, I hold parties every few weeks. We have a spa, sauna, natural pool, and hammocks swinging from the trees and decks, all the way down the many different levels of this steeply sloping property.
I'm a medical doctor and Professor of Integrative medicine. My big goal is to turn the whole world into a wellness retreat, starting here.
You will be over 26, observant and pro-active. Happy couples are welcome.
I do a lot of travelilng, so its great to have someone to take care of the place when I cannot. Inital stay 2 days, to be extended if we are a great fit, and everyone is happy.
Its a chemical free, natural household, with spring water from the mountains to drink, and a no-chlorine super-filter for everything else. I want you to go home radiant with health and happine... more inside

About us.
Hi, we are Steph and Dave (plus 2 adult children at home). We don’t always have the time to do all the things we’d like to do around our home and garden and so we are in need of some extra help.

Accomodation
Our home is a two storey cottage with an attic on an elevated and hilly two and a half acres of land, which needs some work inside and outside. We have lots of animals, domestic and farm animals, so a love and respect for all animals would be expected. Free Wi fi is available.

Vegan and vegetarian food is provided with accomodation. There is no smoking indoors. Alcohol (and extras such as snacks) is not supplied or included but you can supply your own if you want it, no problem. Please note you will not be able to cook meat, poultry or fish in our home.

We are looking for help around the house and garden, some gardening, weeding, trimming, building, sanding and painting, fencing, cleaning, dishwashing and helping with whatever is required. A positive atti... more inside

Non smokers only.
We run a farm with wool sheep and prime lambs. We also have a free range meat chicken business. We use organic fertilizers and drenchs. Chemical use is minimal. We have dogs, layers, three pigs and two geese. Three small dogs and a cat come inside. We also have stick insects!
We live next to a state forest, 20km from the Glenelg river and about 70km from the coast. Our major shopping town is Hamilton but we do go to Portland and Mount Gambier. Mount Gambier is tricky with the covid restrictions.
We would love someone to come and enjoy our area and help us with what we are doing. Help could consist of tree planting, gardening, cleaning, painting and general farm work. If you have any particular skills, let us know and we will try and accomadate you in that area! We are very interested in learning about new cultures and trying your cuisine! We have two rooms available. Applicants must be non smokers.

I run a small cattle and sheep farm.
I live with my son in the main house, but
an older house with very basic amenities is available for use. I am happy to provide some meals, especially if you have been helping out but would appreciate assistance with food preparation.
I'm also happy to do renovations (improvements) on the old house, with your help. Note, this is not a full-on operation, we work at a leisurely pace. Activities are 25% animal related; 25% garden, 25% farm improvements and 25% wood and forest related.
Outside activities including tourist attractions and walks are also catered for.
All activities are undertaken at your own risk as I will take no responsibility for death or injury due to misadventure. I try to provide a supportive and friendly experience.

We are looking for someone to help out in a nanny/ au pair / home schooling / housekeeping role. We would prefer to meet you before we commit to a long term stay, just to make sure we are all a good fit for each other :-)

We will most likely have availability after October 10th.

We live in Clifton Hill , Melbourne, which is a great inner city suburb just 10 minutes train trip or 15/20minute bike ride in to the city. Our house is close to public transport, the Yarra River and Merri Creek, with lots of parks, walking trails and great cafes nearby.

We are a fairly easy going family who love being out and about - bike riding, kayaking, going to the beach etc etc. In non-Covid times, we usually go away for the weekend, and you would be welcome to join us to explore beautiful places around Victoria.

Ben is a lawyer, and Inger works in the Environment sector, and volunteers at the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. We have two kids - a boy who is 6 and a girl who is 4. They... more inside
