We are looking for someone to come and stay in the studio apartment attached to our home. The studio can accommodate a couple and has a kitchenette and bathroom. We are currently renovating our house and need a few people to do some odd jobs around the place to keep it in order such as sanding and re-lackering windows and general gardening. We are happy to cook for you or you can also cook for yourself and do less work. We are very flexible about when you do the work so you could also get a job.

We are 15 minutes walk to Moreland and Anstey stations and can lend you bikes to get around on.

We have a garage and can provide you with tools.

We have 2 kids (6 year’s old and 11 years old) and are very outgoing and friendly. We are happy to incorporate you into our family life as much or as little as you want.

This would suit someone who wants to stay in Melbourne for a while (at least 2 weeks).

Feel free you ring for a chat.

Eileen

About us
Hi, we love having helpers, our names our Stephanie and Dave, we are a married couple with two of three kids at home 14 and 24. We both work, Dave is a plumber and Steph is a teacher. We are what you would call a typical family, sometimes a little dis-functional but otherwise normal. At the moment we are a little busy with work, renovating and the usual home life with our kids. Our son was in a serious car accident in March this year, and this has impacted on our lives, so we haven’t had the time to do the things we’d like to do around our home and we are in need of some extra help. Dave is pretty handy and is pretty knowledgeable in building and renovating. Steph loves to cook, she also loves decorating, gardening and creating artworks (when she has time), and most recently she has been learning a little carpentry. We both love to socialise and happy to welcome you into our home as part of our family. We are very easy going people.

We are a mature couple working from home and are looking to find a young and enthusiastic young man who can help with general garden maintenance, eg weeding, spraying blackberries and wood splitting etc.
In return, we are offering a private room and own bathroom in our lovely home and meals.( Free wi fi is also available.)
We are in a quiet and secluded bush setting, but only 3km from the main highway and station.
It would be an advantage to have an international driver`s licence and a MUST to be a dog lover! (We have 2 !)
This would be an excellent opportunity for a traveller requiring 2 weeks of accommodation, possibly longer.
We are DEFINITELY a NON SMOKING household, and would prefer not to cater for vegetarians only.
This position is available immediately, so please contact us if you feel it suits you.

Hi, we are Ana (French-Venezuelan) and Padraig (Irish) a couple with 3 kids (a newborn, 2 y/o and 4 y/o). We live in the beautiful suburb of Eltham (45 min by train to the city). Green and lush, living in Eltham is almost like living in the country yet within comfortable commuting distance of the City. We are only 5 min walk from train station. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops locally in the town and again all accessible by walking distance. We live in a 3 bedroom house, the kids share one bedroom so you can have one bedroom for yourself. We have 2 old bikes that are in great working order available if you want to use them, there are beautiful tracks to explore in the area and also you could go to the city riding if you are adventurous.

We are looking for a single person who could come and help around the house with house work in general, cooking, gardening, cleaning, organising and helping with the kids. I am vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free, my husband Padrai... more inside

Hi, welcome to the beautiful Daylesford region! We are Jill and Phil. We have relocated to the picturesque Ballan township from South Australia where we have been active hosts for many years.
The property has enormous garden areas that constantly need clearing and tidying and we always have new projects in mind. I (Jill) cook for local cafes and do larger catering jobs and always need a hand in the kitchen. We grow veggies and have many pets - 3 goats, 2 alpacas, 3 sheep 7 chickens, 2 ducks and a cat who rules the house. A new Puppy will be due soon as we recently lost our mate Buddy after 18 years of love and tail wags. There will always be plenty to do - even just a lazy house sit from time to time as we do go back to Adelaide a lot. Ballan is well situated with transport in Western Victoria and there is a train directly to/from Melbourne which takes under an hour. In either direction within 25 minutes you have the vibrant and historic Victorian towns of Daylesford and Ballarat.... more inside

MARC & ALEJANDRA

We are Alejandra and Marc, a couple with complementary skills and abilities guided by their similar values and vocation.

Marc was born in the Catalan Pyrenees, in the land of the Ceretani, a branch of the Iberians. Alejandra was born in Entre Rios (between rivers), a province in center-east Argentina.

Nowadays, we live:
- part time in Australia, in the land of the Gunaikurnai, an aboriginal nation of the Australian South-east;
- part time in Argentina, in a land whose ancestors where the Comechingón, an Indigenous tribe of the center-west Argentina
- other locations of the world (mainly in the Southern Hemisphere)

These three places (Argentina, Australia and Catalonia) constitute three corners of Earth. This tells us that, alongside with the connection to our ancestral lands, we need to extend our arms to embrace as much diversity as possible; perhaps, by living between these locations, we are trying to embrace the whole planet.
