Hi, we live in a wonderful part of the south west of Western Australia, in a town called Harvey. We live on acreage about 12km north of Harvey in a place called Cookernup, we have a local store and post office 1km away. On our property we are working towards living a self sustainable lifestyle with a little off farm income, we grow and process most of our own food, including meat, fish and honey. There is a creek that flows nearly all year round that runs through our place so we have a very green garden and orchard
We work a small business doing property maintenance around our local area this is usually two to three days a week. There is a neat two bedroom self contained cottage for your own privacy and meals will be had together in the main house, we would like you to work 2-6 hours a day in exchange for great food ,company and accommodation. The type of work will be gardening, farming and property maintenance. You do not need experience just be very willing to learn. We have a goo... more inside

* Places available from May 8

We are a fledgling small holding with big dreams and plans. Having built our home in the middle of old growth Karri forest, we now have many landscaping projects and on-going maintenance to attend to. Helpers who are both skilled or un-skilled are welcome.

We have three lovely children, lots of chickens and two dogs... so it's important that you like all varieties if you would like to stay with us.

Whilst we are in the middle of the forest, we are only an easy 3km walk from beautiful Denmark town. If you don`t have a car we can pick you up from town if you have caught the bus. Denmark is a thriving town with many natural highlights to offer visitors. Also close to Albany (by Australian standards at least!) Please make sure you are aware of where Denmark is in relation to Perth before contacting us.

Accommodation is provided in a separate, fully equipped house. All meals are made available to our guests: we will provide ingredients for b... more inside

Perfect outback experience. We got a little homestead with our pets and garden which we could need some help with like looking after the dogs and kangaroos and weeding as well as light housework. And some small jobs on the station like cleaning trough and some fencing.

We are a semi young busy couple running two business and could need some help occasionally.

We are really remote 420km north of Perth on the great northern highway. Next shops are 150 km each way. But we do have Telstra mobile service. We own the local
roadhouse and have a few international workers as well as some Australian.

In exchange for a few hours help we offer meals and accommodation ( your own private room) and a real outback experience which includes but not limited to gold prospecting, camping in the bush and a good time.

Regards Kathrin

~~We currently have availability for one or two helpxers travelling together~~

We have a small 4 acre property (not a farm) between town and the beach, we balance professional jobs with a rural family lifestyle close to the bush and river. We keep a few sheep and have a couple of small dogs too. There are also native animals to see and lots of birdlife around us too. We have built a house and have been planting and landscaping the property. This is a homestay in a family environment, therefore we welcome enquires from NON-SMOKERS ONLY.

We are always busy here and what you will be asked to do will depend on the weather, time of year, and the projects that are currently going on at the time. The work can often be physical and dirty for example, general maintenance, landscaping, planting, garden maintenance, including weeding, digging and watering, mulching, housework and ironing. We don`t ask anything of helpxers that we wouldn't be prepared to do ourselves.

It is essential... more inside
