I am always looking for someone (or two) with basic landscaping skills, and basic carpentry skills. I enjoy having couples to stay, as they are a bit more independent. This summer I am looking for a couple (or singleton) to help me in the garden as I am having an outdoor dining room constructed and there will be some tidying up to do. There will also be a little interior decorating to do. I would supervise and work alongside you.

I had a very positive experience five years ago with my first HelpXer who in 10 weeks transformed
my garden from a builder's site into a lovely lawned gadren.Since then I have had a regular stream of marvellous young people.

I am a good cook. You will have a room and bathroom to yourself in my comfortable house. I am quite social and will include you in the social network in the area.

My house is a few miles from the coast, nature reserve etc and these are a short bike ride away. Yoxford is a charming village with 2 pubs, 2 good restaurants, and ... more inside

This is a beautiful old Scottish house nestled in the woods to the south of the island of Gigha. I run it myself (but kept company by Luna the springador!) as a B&B and like to run any kind of retreat - especially singing and music - as its a tranquil spot which has a soothing energy.Retreats on hold due to Covid and B&B much reduced. I am about to do a house renovation and need help getting organised for that as well as help in creating growing spaces and regenerating woodland.

I moved here in January 2019 and then broke my leg! So am a little behind on all sorts of outside projects. I am setting up an organic veg garden, want to clear land to plant fruit trees, clear space for a self catering pod, clear overgrown trees, and create a forest garden. Oh and wood chopping. Much wood needing processed.
Inside jobs include some painting.

It would be great to have some help and energy and ideas from volunteers. I will cook yummy food and I do also play music. So bring an instrume... more inside

From mid March 2021 we're looking for help!

Hi, we've recently completed building our home on a small croft in a beautiful, fairly remote location in Wester Ross (3 miles from a bus route) We have an energetic Springer Spaniel called Bracken.

We have so many ideas of what could be done here, as we face a climate crisis on our planet, but are taking it a step at a time.

-We've just erected a polytunnel and plan to grow vegetables and some fruit in it.

-We've started to plant up an orchard.

-We will be constructing raised beds and New Zealand compostors.

-We have hopes of rebuilding a very old ruin on the croft and turning it into a store/workshop.

-Drystone walling (minor work)

-Woodland management

We are reusing and upcycling what resources we have and are becoming more creative...all ideas welcome!

We're looking for someone to work from 9am-1pm Monday to Friday. In exchange you will have a bedroom in the house and use of a shared bathroom. Use of... more inside

Accommodation in our lowly but characterful three hundred year old fen edge cottage. Its scruffy and often a bit dirty as I'm decluttering the house and improving a horse yard Iíve just taken over these days. But summer is still here and its beautiful if you like animals and countryside and medieval cities and scruffy old cottages.

Its exactly halfway along the road from Cambridge to Newmarket, the capital of horseracing. Itís 7 miles from each centre. That takes about 15 mins in flowing traffic and considerably more in rush hour.
Urgently in need of helpers at the moment Please come

There is a bus into town(s) from the corner and there is also the park and ride service which is cheaper and quicker than the regular bus which is nearby so we can always run you to or from there in our car.

We are a couple in our mid sixties. I'm a semi-retired freelance English language teacher, trainer. My hope is to care for retired horses along with my own. I also have 4 cats, a dog, a... more inside

Before reading, we would like to let you know we are following government advice in Scotland re the Covid-19 outbreak, therefore cannot host anyone we have decided in 2020, plus we are currently doing renovation work at the croft so your stay would be more comfortable in 2021. Please send us any future messages in regards to 2021 to avoid disappointment! Stay safe and all that!

We would like help to improve our wooded croft land situated in the Buchan area of Aberdeenshire near the north-east coast of Scotland. Our 16 acre patch is mostly native woodland. we keep a small brood of chickens. We also have 3 lovely cats and an old German Shepard who still thinks she's a pup!

We have two paddocks that we have previously let out for grazing. In the future the paddocks might be used for our own wee flock of sheep or alpacas with the intention of using and selling the wool. We grow a lot of our own veg with the use of our polytunnel and outside veg plot. These past few years I have a... more inside
