** we have recently started doing a B and B in addition to our usual business In the bothy that adjoins our house so help with change overs is great in addition to other bits and pieces. The changeover usually only takes a couple of hours and then just doing the laundry etc, this with walking our wee dogs is going to be a typical day. Itís a small bothy so easy to clean etc. Pretty easy going :)

(Also have a second hand yurt to build but a couple of bits need fixing first)

About our place
Leckmelm Farm is situated just south if Ullapool in the north west highlands. Itís possible to travel in a day trip from here to places like Applecross, The Isle of Skye, Cape wrath, Tounge,, Kintail (Eilean Donnan castle), the ferry to the Iisle of Lewis is from Ullapool and takes around 3 hours a crossing. Leckmelm is a good base to have. (Scott can usually take volunteers on a day trip if here for 2 weeks or more)

We want you to enjoy your time here, at the same time as us getting... more inside

Lyn and I run two self-catering holiday lodges a few metres from loch ness. These can be booked for a minimum of 1 night so we have constant changeovers during the weeks of the high season. We are looking for one or two people to work with us FROM MID NOVEMBER 2018. We will provide accommodation plus food (I am a vegan and Lyn eats most things) for you to cook using your own kitchen for approx 2 to 4 hours work per day. This is to do changeovers in the lodges, check-in guests, washing and ironing and help with gardening, veggie plot, general maintenance, etc. The location is good as you will be able to walk, cycle, run the Great Glen Way which runs through the forest behind the lodge and pick mushrooms in the forest. There is free WIFI and free parking if you have a car. Your accommodation is a very lovely and comfortable self-contained Shepherds Hut which has a double bed, kitchen and shower room. We live in a lovely rural location five miles from the town of Oban, on the West coast of Scotland. We have a naturalistic garden and a separate vegetable patch as well as an extensive wildflower meadow and native woodland. We try to manage our land to encourage the greatest biodiversity. We need help from the middle of September onwards with feeding and mulching the garden, mowing & strimming the long grass as well as cutting and splitting firewood, and some house maintenance. We are looking for 1 or 2 cheerful, adaptable, nonsmoking omnivores who will help us for an average of 25 hrs or so per week (jobs are very weather dependent). We prefer people to come for one to two weeks. You would live as part of our family with accommodation and all meals provided in our modern home, with free wifi. Oban is known as the Gateway to the Isles and is a great centre for exploring the West Highlands.
We are now retired but spent our working life running a big charter yacht which means... more inside

We have self catering tourism businesses in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands. We previously had a guesthouse and have hosted happy volunteers for a number of years!
We have just refurbished a beautiful old manse house next to Loch Tummel and are currently letting that out as well as our self catering lodges.
We need people to help with weekly changeovers between guests. This involves cleaning, tidying and preparing the properties for the new arrivals.
We are also looking for volunteers with a love of gardening and outdoor work for help with landscaping a large pond and garden we are currently re-establishing in our two acre garden in Foss.

We are Tina and Norman, we are very adaptable, friendly and have run all aspects of our own small businesses for a long time now.

14 MTR motor yacht which I am preparing for a complete repaint. I can not accommodate in My caravan any longer so this would suit someone that has there own accommadation (motor home or tent )I can now accommodate on my boat for 2 max. providing it is understood that it is a boat. I have lived on it for 12 years and have every appliance required for comfortable living. Due to the wet weather and my health last year I was unable to complete all the work required. I am looking for someone that can prepare and paint and also have a little carpentry experience. I am 4 miles from Inverness but do have a car to co0mute if necessary. If the weather don't permit working outside there is plenty to do in side.If interested please don't hesitate to contact me for any information you require.Unfortunately I no longer have a dog.
Kind regards

Hugh.
