Hello, my Name is Hubert. I am 46 years old and since fife jears I live in a farmhaus on an alp (mountain pasture) the whole year. The sea level is from 700 to 1000m. In summer i have to look up for about 160 cows from other farmers and I keep my own animals here the whole year. There are pigs, chicken and goats and they all are kept outside. Also I have an organic garden. You should like to cook for me (us) four or fife days a week and you should help me to do the housekeeping. If you want, you can help me with the animails, the gardening and other works outside. You would have your own room and there is wifi. If you think you would like the place here, I would be happy you would ask me to come. I speak German, English and Romanian.

REQUEST: WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR 1-2 HELPERS TO STAY WITH US IN THE WALDHÜTTL!
...
This is a sociopolitical initiative based in an old farmhouse on the outskirts of Innsbruck.

We are a relaxed bunch and this is the perfect place to stop and enjoy the mountain scenery while still being right next to the city of Innsbruck.

The project was started to offer accommodation to a group of Roma people who regularly travel here to work and has been growing ever since. The house is now surrounded by a community garden with some permacultural elements and gives home to different farm animals (chicken, sheep, ducks, rabbits, bees,...). Also it acts as a stopping point for pilgrims and is furthermore an educational and cultural meeting place hosting various interesting events throughout the whole year.

We also have developed a forest garden on the land beneath the house, manage a chicken co-operative and planted a gift garden - where people passing by can help themselves to frui... more inside

Hey friends!

Here at my place I'm producing and selling fermented foods like Kimchi, Sauerkraut, Kombucha and even Miso and Soysauce.

I started diving into fermenting foods in 2013 at the Vetterhof organic farm where I worked for 2 years. Shortly after fully soaking up this matter I also started teaching workshops on the topic. A 3 month WWOOFING stay in Japan helped me refine my knowledge about making Miso and Soysauce.

Since 2018 my girlfriend and me also have a big organic vegetable field in our new living space, it's about 500 squaremeters in size. It's partially for my work and to a large extend also for our own providing.

There is always plenty of things to do but don't worry, it's easy going here :) it's a rather flexible schedule. The work is typical vegetable gardening tasks which includes cultivating the plants from seed to harvest and everything in between and also preserving seeds.

Of course it also includes processing things like making classic vinegar... more inside

Hello,
A traveller myself, I have returned home after five years away and I have a lot to arrange.
Im living in a pretty central area in Vienna, close to the major attractions and touristic places to visit.
I know the city pretty well as I lived here for many years as a student. Best places to visit and best food places around the area.
My flat is in need of some repairs, so Im searching for somebody with some skills in rebuilding partly a kitchen and some general maintenance around the house.
It will be really useful if you have a van to help with some furniture transportation or a driving license to be able to drive a rented van.
Acommodation depending on the dates and time of stay, will be in the living room or private bedroom.
Im flexible with the working hours and stay. The idea will be of around 3-4 hours daily without food. Time for around one week.
If you are interested and would like to came to visit this beautiful city, contact me.
Cheers
Andrea

To be close to the land and to nature

We are Kathi, Johannes and Shahar and the children Mia (*2006), Romi (*2009) and David Laurin (*2012), an international family that works a farm for their own requirements. Kathi grew up on the farm that is registered as an organic farm for more than 30 years now. We have got Krainer Stein sheep, chickens, cats, a dog and two horses that roam about 5 hectares of grassland and forest. We grow vegetables on raised beds and a field in mixed culture. All year round we harvest fruits from the mixed orchards and berry gardens. In winter we fell trees to gain wood for heating. We prefer working by hand, but use our small old tractor if necessary. There are always new projects, like constructing fences, rain water systems, hill beds and so on.
Besides the work on the farm and with the children we make felt products and children clothes or just sit around the bonfire and enjoy a warm summer night.

We are looking for volunteers that enjo... more inside

Dear Helpers!

We live on the very Western edge of the city of Graz 200m higher than the city with a view over almost the whole Graz Basin in an amazing natural surrounding. At our back there is the forest going further up the hill and in front of our house is a meadow of about 1 and a half hectare going down the hill surrounded by forest.

I and my husband who is a very versatile handcrafter, live here together with our 2 children (female 9, 10) in a small house. 30m away of our house, there is another big old stone house of 150qm which we are gradually restoring.

Our vision is to make our place fit in a simple, natural way for small workshops in the healing area. We need to make accessible the well preserved loft of the old stone house, to build a compost toilet and another wooden platform under our wonderful weeping willow. Our plan is to fulfill this vision by the next year (2019).

But right now, we have to establish a fence along the upper part of o... more inside

Hello!
We are a small family-run business consisting of Kristel&Patrick, Henriette (4y)&Fridolin (6y), Charlotte (baby) at least 2 cats, 6 sheep, 8 chicken, 6 ducks, millions of butterflies, worms, bucks and ants.
Formally trained as architects, we started in 2016 our organic CSA farm under the name “Paradieschen” and now this is the paradise for us and our plants.
Our farm is situated in the picturesque East Styria near the medieval Riegersburg Castle and just one hour away from the City of Graz. The area is known for its beautiful landscape but also for great food: actually the famous organic chocolate manufacture Zotter is just 15 minutes away from our place.
Most of our contributors are from Graz and we deliver there the weekly share of the crop: a great opportunity to spend some time in the City.
There is plenty to do at our farm: either on the field helping with the plants or in and around the house with housekeeping and building. Generally you can expect an average wor... more inside

Times of change, we have started a New project in Greece, planting a dryland forestgarden in Order to geht a fertile Land in an area that has no agriculture since the 1980th.
So we share our time and energy, but soon we will move.
This summer we look for helpers, willing to help us finishing here and moving there.

WHO WE ARE:
We (Hartwig&Leila) and Hartwigs mum, sometimes our kids (22 and 18) - (and some wonderful volunteers) live together with chicken, ducks, cats and dogs. We grow our own vegetables, a lot of berrie bushes an... more inside
