Hello, we are a franco-swiss couple, we live in the North-West of the region called Limousin ( between Poitiers and Limoges) in a water mill which we are renovating for 10 years now.
We live in a rural area in the countryside at 6 km from the nearest town, the nearest train station is 22km away and the nearest airport is in Limoges ( about 64 km away). Paris is less than 3hours away. There are some lovely places to visit in the region, especially local villages and towns such as Limoges.

Our global aim: go towards more autonomy ( green energies, healthy eating, health by natural methods) and authenticity. We have already set upinstalling a naturopathy practice, 1 guest house, a SPA, production of environmentally friendly energy ( solar and hydraulic), an orchard with ancient and local varieties of fruits, 1 permaculture garden ( organic of course) and small animal parks. We are still in the process of working and building. The Ysabel naturopathic practice, which is located in th... more inside

i need help as soon as possible, thanks.
I am a retired and energetic lady, living in a bucolic and old house recently renovated, overlooking a stream , situated in a natural conservation area of forested Monts du Lyonnais.
I worked as horse riding instructor and scuba diving instructor. I like discovering new countries or simply enjoying nature by camping, hiking, kayaking (lately in wonderful Greenland) or cycling
I did a lot of work by myself on this property both in masonry and for the land. Recently a Canadian volunteer taught me the organic permaculture vegetable garden. Currently even if this vegetable garden is small, I can still transmit my knowledge.
I like working with Helpers, talking about what to do or my knowledge of plants (medicinal and culinary) or yoga, and of course about your country, your experiences during your trip, improve language learning, music, exchange culinary specialties and all topics that motivate you and me.
We will do some masonry, car... more inside

Hi! Would you like to stay in a Castle in South France?

>> WE'RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO HELP US RIGHT NOW >> Starting 19th of September till mid/end of October. We're working on a roof project, and looking for 2 persons; one handy and not afraid of heights (off course the work will be fully secured), and another person that will stay on the ground, and put the needed materials on the lift.
>> Another possibility to help in the kitchen from 17-27th of September

There's always something to do in and around this beautiful, but demanding building. Depending on what projects we're working on it would be greatly appreciated if you can help with, for example, general maintenance, painting, garden maintenance, cleaning or cooking. If you like working in the garden, the caretakers have organic vegetable- herb- and flower gardens. And then there is the furry and feathery part of the family; chickens, a sheep, a dog and cats of the castle.

My name is Nana, I'm from the Netherlands and... more inside

Leaf and I live in an old cottage on the edge of a small ridge-top village within an hour's drive of the Pyrenees. Our lifestyle is as eco as we can make it. We mainly need help with gardening, furniture painting and organising our garage for a sale. Leaf has Alzheimer's but is otherwise physically very fit. He enjoys walking, companionship and discussion on a wide range of subjects, despite some confusion here and there! I appreciate help in the kitchen. We are ovo-vegan and eat predominately organic food. The atmosphere is informal, creative and laid-back. Our garden is well-established and productive and needs to be kept under control. I am a writer/blogger, currently endeavouring to organise the material for a guide to living in SW France (after 30 years of residence). We have one cat, Pepe and there's Monty, our adorable young dog, who we rescued from living in a ditch. Originally from the UK, we both speak French and Leaf is fluent in Spanish, I have some German.
