Hello, we are young couple starting our own organic orchard in the jungle of Peru, just outside the center of Moyobamba. We need help to work on the land, such as gardening, designing a water collection system, permaculture, cleaning and organizing the land, etc. In the past our land was deforested for farming purposes, and as such we need help to reforest it. Our backgrounds are in the social sciences and medicine, and as such we welcome people with technical/agricultural backgrounds, but of course all are welcomed!

We offer vegetarians meals, a room (or if you prefer a tent outside there is plenty of space), spectacular views of the mountains, and good vibes. We are just outside the city enough that you will find true peace and tranquility in the Amazonian jungle, ideal for reflection, uninterrupted work, and relaxation.

We run a school in Huancayo a Peruvian city in the heart of the Andes. The children in our school range from 3 to 16 years old. Through our volunteers, we help increase the children's confidence and self-esteem and give them a better chance of good education.
We firmly believe that education, above all else, is the key ingredient in these children's future and this single truth underpins much of what we do. By having English speaking volunteers, we hope our kids will become confident English speakers, making these practical skills infinitely more marketable.
Previous experience in volunteering your time abroad is not necessary to join. You just have to be fully committed to helping to Teach English.
Our volunteer programs take place all year round, with a minimum duration of a month to 6 months. you can start any date of the month, letting you decide when and for how long.

We have an ecological project run by our family with two lovely dogs named Wachita and Chiquitito. We are maintaining our culture and our traditions from our ancestors (the Incas). We do natural or bio construction and we cultivate organic vegetables (corn, beans, potatoes, quinoa, kiwicha, fava beans, and pea) in a field nearby. We are also collecting varieties of native corn seeds. We always keep our respect to the Pachamama (“Mother Earth”).
