We can pick you up from the bus, or from Melbourne, by arrangement. This is Paradise by the Sea!

You will have your own room with your own private en-suite facilities, in a modern home with two living areas.

We are located just 700 metres to the beach, and there is a golf course across the road. Parklands and outdoor areas abound.

We would welcome a kind and self-motivated person to provide 4 hrs a day around the home - washing, ironing, gardening, general cleaning, cooking and assisting with our wonderful children. Drivers licence preferred. Two days off a week of course!

Our family of 4 includes Lyndon and Carolyn (early forties) and Kaitlin 6 and Ben 4. Kaitlin has started to le... more inside

We operate a small farm, a bed and breakfast and a horse retirement facility, and other horse related services and activities here in Tallangatta Valley.

Every now and then it is handy to have an extra pair of willing hands to help out with projects, seasonal jobs and the usual day to day fun and games. If you are interested in staying for a week (7 days) and exchanging good food and great accommodation for doing some work with us, we'd be interested to chat.

Current projects include fruit tree pruning, making compost, some fencing and fence repairs, feeding the horses and a few other projects.

Love to hear from keen and sociable Helpers :)

Glenn and Kelly

Want to see what life is like here on the land in The Yarra Valley, one hour from Melbourne?
We need help with fencing, gardening, tree plantation maintenance and small jobs around the house. Nothing too big or difficult. Jobs might include weeding garden beds, picking up sticks, cobweb removal, raking leaves and stacking firewood. Any carpentry, fencing, viticulture skills would be really helpful here.
Our farm is near Healesville in the Yarra Valley. Approximately 1 hour from Melbourne by car.
My sister and her husband live here with their sons and run the 600 acre farm.
The rest of the family share another house on the property. I live in Melbourne with my family and we get to the farm as often as possible, mostly at weekends.
We have a vineyard, Charolais and Angus beef cattle and sheep.
The farm has "Land for Wildlife" status and we have magnificent views of the valley and the farm is great for hiking.
If the weather is warm there is a huge dam good for swimming. The... more inside

Moora Moora is an intentional community of about 30 households on top of Mount Toolebewong, 70km north-east of Melbourne.
Our helpers stay together in a community owned building we call 'The Lodge'. We are a great place to come and help at as there are always lots of people, other helpers or community members to have fun with. The work is varied as you work with different people each day. Jobs that you are likely to be asked to do included vegetable gardening, weeding, fencing, building, painting, rendering, wood splitting, wood staking, landscaping, building chicken runs, cleaning, perhaps child minding and more.
We have wifi in The Lodge but it is a little slow. The Lodge is also solar powered and power is limited sometimes, we cannot use hair dryers in The Lodge.
During your two days off we have many ways you can enjoy yourselves. We have a waterhole to swim in and a tennis court. We are also surrounded by forest which you can explore. There are beautiful views and much wildli... more inside
