Welcome to our beautiful Buddhist retreat centre nestled in the Snowy River Country of East Gippsland, halfway between Melbourne and Canberra. We are surrounded by state forest and abundant with wildlife (countless kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, native birds and the occasional koala!).
The centre belongs to The Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra (Sakya Losal Choe Dzong), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting peace and happiness. As such, here we host various retreats throughout the year, including meditation - both Buddhist and secular - yoga, tai chi, health and wellness, and family week.

There are a handful of committed volunteers living here and working to maintain this beautiful space. We are spiritual practitioners who have a relaxed and harmonious living environment built upon mutual respect. We welcome anyone with a genuine interest in spirituality and a desire to contribute to the community to come and share in this wonderful space with us.

Hello :)

We are looking to host someone short term approx 1 month, however maybe longer, in exchange for some assistance around our house/property. We would like someone who can do any of the following, gardening, cooking, dishwashing, clothes washing, house/car cleaning and dog walking. We are a big and busy family of 6 (plus 2 dogs) that is very friendly and welcoming! Most importantly we are a modern family, who are all very liberal and open minded. The location of the property is in a safe surburbian area of Melbourne which is surrounded by a lot of nature. It is really perfect for nature and animal lovers as so there are so many choices to go dog walking. The house is approx 45 minutes by public transport to Melbourne City centre. Or 25 minutes by car. You will receive a private room detached from the main house, therefore giving you your own freedom to come and go without anyone disturbing you or vice versa . Although it's important to note the house is kind of on the older... more inside

This is a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Vineyard located in South Gippsland, Victoria.

We have 10 acres under vine and everything on this vineyard is done by hand. We have harvested the 2012 vintage and our now ready for pruning.

Experience on a vineyard is a bonus but not necessary. We have a large array of jobs that include working in the vineyard and other general daily tasks. We have a fully operational cellar door and attract many visitors (both local and OS) on there way to the amazing Wilson Prom.

Our wine is also sold in some of Melbourne and Sydney's best restaurants. To get an insight into the running of a boutique vineyard, we would love to hear from you.

We are located just 1 hour (35km) north of Melbourne's CBD in a picturesque and peaceful community called Arthurs Creek. Our property is 70 acres of rolling hills that are surrounded by natural bushland (Kinglake National Park). We have undulating hills with gullies and creeks to explore on foot. Along the way you will see and hear kangaroos, eagles, wombats and maybe even the odd koala. You will also have access to a pool and tennis court should the weather be on your side. We are both in our mid 60ís and have travelled extensively, so love to share stories from here in Australia and overseas.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals or couples to help with general gardening and maintenance around and in the house. Jobs might include: weeding, pruning, household cleaning, window cleaning, firewood collection, fencing, painting etc (please do let us know if you have any trades or handy experience as we have some technical jobs on the To Do List).
