We live in a beautiful but very remote part of the Alpine National Park in the mountains of Victoria. There is great bush walking, horse riding, mountain biking, white water rafting (seasonal), local history right on our front door. We have probably no more than 30 people who live within a radius of 30 kilometres of our property, although we do have a very unique little country pub with lots of characters and visitors only a kilometre from our place. Our home has 3 lovely decks looking over the beautiful Bundara River. We do not have television, however we do have email and internet access (not always guaranteed) even though we provide our own electricity via solar and a micro hydro power system in the river that forms one part of our property boundary. We also provide our own water pumped from the same source.
There is always plenty of work to do around the place. We would be keen to hear from anyone interested in helping with gardening, stonework, brush clearing and other ... more inside

We're a happy little house of one adult and two kids in the little country town of Creswick. It's in the forest and 15 minutes from Ballarat (a large regional centre) and 1.5 hours from Melbourne. Among other things, Creswick has an amazing patisserie-boulangerie that is perfect when you need a little taste of France! Weve got a large backyard with lots of weeds and far too much grass nothing too technical needs doing, just maintenance and tidying that I dont get time for. And general housekeeping stuff. But if you have any particular skills, Im open to suggestion.
Im a musician and wine researcher and speak fluent French and a little Spanish. The kids (10 & 12 years old) speak a bit of French and were all travellers at heart. We'd love to have you come and stay with us if you speak French or Spanish and youd like to do some gardening and housework, and share our table and stories.

*Currently looking for helpers for November for painting (inside) and gardening. No previous experience needed.
*We are also looking for a carpenter/builder to help build a tree house - dates are flexible

We are a friendly and active family with 3 children (aged 9, 7 and 2), 1 dog, guinea pigs and chickens. We live on a large, mostly native block that backs onto the Yarra River where you can swim and kayak. We have a big vegetable garden and our home is solar powered.

Right now we are looking for helpers who like gardening, including mulching, weeding and planting. We also have some painting and cleaning jobs and if you like children and dogs there are opportunities for baby sitting and long walks in the bush.

We welcome all nationalities (Meg speaks Spanish) and can cater for vegetarians or other dietary requirements. No smokers please.

We expect 4-5 hours work each day but you can choose your own hours. In return we will provide all meals with our family and accommod... more inside

We are 2- mum - landscape architect student and musician and teen son (14) and burmese cat living on a beautiful 1/2 acre block/house less than 1.5 hrs from melbourne.
Looking for man/couple to help out over summer starting mid December for at least two weeks so we can get our off-grid space up and running!

We bnb our house on weekends so sunday-friday you would have your own room and bathroom in our fab home and on weekends we move on to the block and you would have your own caravan.
We harvest and make jams and yummy things seasonally and are slowly extending and maintaining the gardens and orchard we have. We play music and have a piano and guitars at home and are close to town and cafes/good coffee (we do have a coffee machine!) We cook fab food and grow a bunch of stuff. My son is looking to learn some basic building skills so we'd love you to be teen friendly and appreciate how good mentoring can really make a difference to a growing boy/man!

We would appreciate help ... more inside

My parents live on the Murray River on a beautiful property full of river red gums. They are quite elderly and unable to do much in the way of cleaning.
You would be required to do some light house duties, some cleaning , gardening and maybe some weed control on the farm.
Cattle duties depend on your level of skill with animals.
Some fencing may be required but optional.
We are warm and friendly people with a keen interest in others.
We have a caravan overlooking the beautiful river flats which you would be staying in. The house is very close by. Food is included however you need to cook for yourself.
Rutherglen is a lovely area and the country side is very pretty at the moment because of all the rain.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm Regards, Kath
