This is one of the iconic buildings associated with the historic town and tourist destination of Toodyay which is located an hours drive north east of Perth. The Quarters is a c1900 stone building that we are restoring and developing the property with organic farming (garlic), Sandalwood, Christmas Trees and farm stay accommodation forming the focus of the property. The property is in a beautiful rural Australian setting.

You will need your own accommodation and food. We have some beautiful camping spots along the creek or under the trees. Camp kitchen, toilet and shower are provided. We welcome your enthusiasm and if you have them building skills would be greatly appreciated. Two hours work a day is asked of you during your stay. Otherwise your time is your own to enjoy the region using this as your base.

Hi there!
I have a simple small caravan to share - if you are after very basic accommodation ! Nothing flash and a bit like camping at this stage! Hot during the day ( parked under big shady oak) and a few mozzies at night ( mozzie nets provided) The summer is hot here, so early rising is preferable as the middle of the day is too hot to work in.
I would like to exchange 2 hrs work per day ( we will have some meals to share but most meals you will need to provide yourself) for accomodation and showers.
Guests need to be kid friendly (I have 4!) - we are keen to meet travelers and share stories, music and play!
I am keen to show you our local swimming dams and our huge beautiful local world tree park, our community forest garden aswell as the local Buddhist retreat and mindfulness centre. Or any other areas you may be interested in.
Balingup is a small country town, where we are its close to the Tavern and town centre which is 5mins on foot.
Part of my reasoning of signin... more inside

We are located in the beautiful Margaret River region and close to Boranup Forest, many beaches and the highlights of Margaret River townsite.
We are a small friendly farm with a variety of cattle and poultry, also included is an extensive orchard.
We would like help with a variety of farm jobs depending on the season. An example would be helping to care for our pastured hens including relocating the mobile hen houses or collecting / grading eggs, general farm jobs would be moving cattle around the farm, weeding, picking up sticks or milking our house cow. We would also like help to develop our veggie patch.
To enjoy the work it is best if you are fit and willing.
We are happy to negotiate the number of hours worked and what is included. You would have your own bathroom facilities and could use your own camper or a bedroom in our home.

We are looking for one female helper to come and stay with us for 4-6 weeks (negotiable) from approximately(!) mid February.

Dan works in the wine industry and will soon be dedicating more time to growing produce, while Caity teaches yoga for women and studies midwifery, Grace is a cruisy little earth baby always happy on the farm.
What we hope to find in a helper is someone who shares our values for healthy, simple and mindful living. Hello!
We are a family of five. We love where we live with our three girls (11 years, 13 years and 15 years old) and a black labrador dog and we would welcome you to join our family to experience the Geradlton way of life. Shane and I work full time so help is required with cooking, laundry, cleaning and occasional child care. We are both teachers. Geraldton is a five hour drive north of Perth (or a 7 hour bus trip). We live in Wandina which is a suburb south of the Geraldton town centre. It takes about 6 minutes by car to get to town or about 25 minutes by bike (of which we have one for you to borrow). We are also on the local bus circuit that takes you into town. We are a short walk from local beaches and sand dunes. Accommodation is a bedroom in the house with a shared bathroom with the children. We like to be active on the weekends and depending on the weather we may be surfing, walking or riding. We welcome you to join our happy, comfortable life.
