My family and I moved here 2 years ago to our 130year old house. It had been my dream to live here since I used to holiday on Valentia as a child. We have a lot of work to do and not enough time to do it.....
I am an English language teacher and would be happy to help you practice your English, if you need to, in addition to providing accommodation and meals to someone who would like to spend some time helping us in our garden and/or making home improvements.
You will have plenty of time to explore our beautiful island and we will be glad to show you around during your stay. Our home is centrally located and perfect for accessing all points on the island by bike or on foot.
We always try to have our main meals together and we all love to cook.
We love animals and share our home with 1 dog and 2 cats.

A small homestead requiring help around house and garden. Carpentry, building and/or gardening skills would really suit us as the house and garden is in need of some repairs and work. We would also like some help with house cleaning.
Our home is located 3km from the village of Corofin in County Clare, within the boundaries of the world renowned beautiful Burren. Ennis town is 12 km and Shannon Airport is approx 35km away.

Accommodation would be suitable for one person or a couple sharing. The helper(s) can either eat with us, a family of two or prepare own meals or a combination of these. We are comfortable to share family space if a helper wishes to do so.

Hours per day expected can be negotiated with individual helpers depending on skills offered and what suits their own plans.

Most of all we value honesty in any helper who comes to our home and we are interested in an exchange that benefits both parties equally.

We are a small busy family - Mum and two teenagers (aged 14 and 17). I travel sporadically for work and so would like someone responsible to stay with the children when I am away. We would love a Spanish speaker so the children could brush on their spoken Spanish. There might be a little driving involved, but the kids get themselves from school and back and to their sports, so this is unlikely. Main contributions to our household would be shopping, cooking and general keeping the house clean and tidy, and dog walking and of course, we would love someone who would like to become part of the family for the time she is with us.

We have just moved into a new house and if you know anything about creating edible gardens that would be a bonus. The garden is small, but hopefully we can produce some of our own food.

You can walk directly out of the house to the harbour (2 mins walk) with its small boats and a long beach to walk on. You can also walk directly onto the Greystones - Bray ... more inside

Hello Helpx-ers! I've recently moved into a new property and I need some help getting the garden under control.

The house is located in County Cork, not far from the beginning of the Wild Atlantic Way on the south coast. It is 15 minutes by car to the city and 10 minutes walk to Ballincollig town. All amenities are close by, including cosy bars with live music and quality restaurants to keep all taste buds satisfied. There is also a farmers market every week to sample locally produced foods.

I have a free double room and will also provide food. Sometimes I will cook vegetarian meals and other times there will be food there to help yourself. In return I would like roughly 20 hours work per week or 15 for a couple/friends sharing. It will be a very relaxed environment and you can choose when you prefer to work. I need help mostly in the garden and you won't have to work in bad weather! Sometimes working with me and other times working on your own. I have a little veg plot whic... more inside

Hello, We're looking for some helper(s) to come and stay for 1 or 2 weeks this Spring.
Our home is a large house where I live with my wife and daughter. We can easily accommodate 1 or 2 people but they would be sharing a room.
We're very happy to offer a bed and some home-made meals for help in the months of Feb to April this year for some general house and garden maintenance

The house is located 15 minutes drive from Dingle in a remote scenic area - 10 minute walk to the Atlantic ocean and there are beaches within cycling distance.(Bikes available) The house has satellite TV and WiFi. One of us drives into Dingle every day so we can offer a lift during your stay most days. Please get in touch if you have any questions & if you are planning to be in Ireland in the coming month.
The pictures are taken from the house and we have spectacular views of the Blasket Islands, exceptional walks and scenery on our doorstep

We look forward to hearing from you.
