Thank you for reading our profile to the end before emailing.

We mix the volunteers. In each group we have different nationalities genders languages and ages to make it interesting and for the opportunity of meeting new people.

When you come there should be no more than one other who speaks your language most days.
The common language is English and we take our role of helping with the English language seriously.
Volunteers have started with a little English and also with good English in both cases there has been noticeable improvement.

Our House burned down on 25 02 2014

Volunteers have emptied the ashes and stopped more damage. We are building. There`s lots of work for willing hands available.

I run a holiday let business and I need help with my business and my dogs while I am away. I have a large home in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty. Jobs would be to walk the dogs and help me in my home and meet and greet the guests and help with the general maintenance of the holiday homes.

There is a car provided so a driving licence would be ideal. The business is very interesting as people from all over the world stay in my holiday cottages all year around. My home is very near to a beautiful town with plenty to do.

SORRY WE ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR 2018

Hello, we are based on the stunning North Cornwall coast on the edge of St.Agnes close to two excellent surfing beaches. We run a market garden as organically as possible based around permaculture and supply seasonal produce to the local village as well as gate sales.

We are looking for two people to help with day to day gardening jobs such as planting, weeding, pruning and picking. There are also lots of maintenance jobs like strimming, cutting grass, moving wood etc...

Accommodation is in a caravan with an awning to give another room. In return for working 8.30am - 1pm 5 days a week, we will feed you two meals a day and provide you with breakfast for you to make for yourself in the caravan. We all eat lunch and an evening meal together. On the weekend we supply you with food to cook yourself in the caravan. Food is vegetarian with some occasional seasonal fish. We also take it in turns to wash up after the evening meal.... more inside

This hostel is on the edge of the world. If you like it elemental -then this is the place for you. Situated on our working croft with its flock of black sheep, we are at the north end of Iona and just across the grass to the sea. In the distance are the islands of Staffa, Rum and Skye. It is a stunningly beautiful place.

The Hostel takes the environment and energy conservation seriously: we hold a `Gold` Green Tourism Business Award and have an STB 4 Star rating. We have been voted best eco-hostel in Scotland.

We are currently looking for helpers around the hostel and croft.

In the hostel we are sticklers for cleanliness. It`s hard work but there is lots of time to relax and enjoy the island. Outside we also need help with maintenance around the croft and garden. If you have practical skills and enjoy variety, then all the better.

We love helpers with a happy and outgoing approach to life, who can work hard and enjoy socialising with our guests.

We are now fully booked for the season, thanks for your interest.

We run an organic market garden producing vegetables, salads, herbs and cut flowers and sell our produce in Fife and Edinburgh and go to weekly farmer`s markets.
The farm was started in 2015 by Rosy (28) and David (35) and Luna (dog), who have both been help exchangers previously as well as working on a number of organic farms.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about organic farming and would like to learn more. We also prefer helpers who are mature, self content, and understanding of the commercial and sometimes fast paced nature of our business.
We really need help with weeding and harvesting mainly, but will try to keep work varied to make sure that you learn a lot and enjoy yourself. It will be hard work, but also rewarding. It is essential that you like dogs.
we can share knowledge of herbal medicine, organic growing, business start up and cut flower growing. This year we are a... more inside

Looking for friendly person to help us in our lovely Bristol home as we have twin boys, aged 4 months and we need a bit of a lift sometimes! Max 4 hours work a day.

The work would be light housework/cleaning, cooking, gardening and helping with the boys. They boys are totally gorgeous to be with and our house is a warm, friendly place. Small Croft (15acres) with house and separate cottage. We’ve recently moved in with our 8 month old baby and need help turning it all from neglected (had been empty for 18 months) into a loved home. There is plenty of scope for someone with experience outdoors (strimming, mowing, fencing, digging ditches, clearing woodland, rebuilding stone walls and any gardening/plant knowledge) and also lots of painting (inside and outside - walls and windows!) as well as anyone happy to do basic housework, babysitting or helping exercise our 2 dogs. Equally if someone is skilled/experienced at maintaining wooden boats, there is plenty to be done with that too!

We are very lucky to be in a picturesque spot overlooking the loch, with an abundance of wildlife ranging from sea eagles to deer and lots of unusual flowers and trees. If you love nature and the outdoors you will think it’s heaven!

There is a separate newly refurbished one bed cottage with bathroom and living room/kitchen av... more inside
