No Summer needs ! Only for March to June !
We are now looking for 2 helpers for june (not before the 11th). We would prefer english speakers to improve our english!

We propose a warm friendly family welcome in exchange for help in our garden and around the house. We are both working, and our garden is always in need of cutting, clearing, weeding, pruning, mowing..., and wood sawing. This time the job will be above all wood sawing and clearing to built a henhouse.

We ask for 4 hours work on 5 days a week but work time and times off could be flexible to suit all.

We need people from march to june, we prefer 2 weeks stay and this can be extended if we are all happy :) We prefer also two friends or one couple. It's easier for the job.

You will have your own bedroom with one double bed in our house but you'll have to share the bathroom with our son, Baptiste 25 years old who is living with us (but working so, he is not so often there) and perhaps with Capucine (23 years old)... more inside

Update Summer 2019: Help needed this summer, mainly in the garden

In late 2013 we bought a property on the banks of the River Aveyron in the gorgeous Tarn region. It's relatively modern (built in the 1970's as a summer holiday home) but was in need of some conversion and improvement for all year occupation and an extension. All of this has now been achieved with the hard work of our wonderful helpers from near and far! Next to do is some tidying of the outside areas. Your help would be required for 25/30 hours per week, please. General handyman skills would be fantastic but strong biceps and a 'can-do' attitude are all we really need. Gardening know-how would be great too.

During your stay with us you will live either with us in our house or in our 3.5metre Yurt pitched at the end of our garden on the riverbank, where you can enjoy complete peace and quiet, apart from regular visits from Tara and Bella our two rescue dogs.

We know what HelpXing is all about. We acted as... more inside

We are a recently retired French/UK couple. In March 2017 we bought a 'small', 'modern' chateau dating from 1800 full of charm. It is in a lovely setting within one kilometre of Noyers sur Serein, a mediaeval walled town rated amongst the most beautiful in France with a small mixed international community including artists and musicians.Transport links are good to Paris (one hour by TGV from Montbard which is 30km away a little longer but more economical from Tonnere).

The chateau is comfortable but was in need of complete refurbishment, much of which we are doing ourselves. We can offer en suite accommodation and the chance to enjoy the superb local food and wine. Our project is to make the house a great home and beautify it to ready it for letting as a whole and hosting events. We need help with the garden especially and for improving the outbuildings and grounds. Jobs can be tailored to match available skills, time and interests. Experience and maturity welcomed.

(Due to last minute cancellation !!) June 23 to August 4, 2019! Mature Married Couple to Help Out at a Gorgeous Estate in Brittany, France- Need at least a 4 Week Commitment

We are an American couple who are blessed to own a beautiful historic estate on 181 acres of fields and forest in Brittany, France. (Google Chateau Le Mur for more info about us and the estate.) We occasionally host workshops and Holiday Home-Stays on our property in the summer months. We are looking for a mature couple* to help us out with care-taking, gardening, key holding and help with preparing, greeting, etc. We generally have another couple onsite who will work along side you, and when we can, we are on-site and work along side with everyone and have a lot of fun in the meantime! (Note: ours is not a moneymaking enterprise, we wish we could pay!!!! We take minimal guests, and are just trying to cover some of the costs of taxes and the upkeep of the place and have a good time in the process!!)

We live in a small village in the South of France and are surrounded by vineyards, rural to say the least. As it is a small village, there is a lot of walks to do, and we are near the canal du midi and a local lake. You can just relax and enjoy the countryside, or use a bike and take a country ride. We are looking for some help with basic home maintenance like painting, varnishing and basic repairs. Also some deep cleaning and organizing. A couple would work, or an individual looking for a 2-3 week stay in the South of France. The village is fairly small and a bit out-of-the-way, so transportation is a must, unless you want a zen stay while here and to mingle with the locals (international crowd). We are flexible with scheduling, ask for 20-25 hours per week, the rest of the time is yours, and I don't micro-manage, so independence is a must. You would have a private room And meals, bien sur. We have cats, in and out of the house, so if you have allergies it could be a problem.
