Kia Ora visitors to New Zealand! We are a family of four living in a quiet rural area close to Albany in the North Shore of Auckland. We have sheep, chickens, two dogs, beehives and an orchard.

Our current projects include cleaning the outside and inside of house (wiping walls cleaning windows), splitting firewood and moving mulch.

We are 10 km drive from buses, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, movies, medical facilities, banks etc at Albany. You will need your own car, as there is no bus available from the house.

WiFi available for your laptop.

Fishing, and great walks are available locally, plus everything that Albany, a small city has to offer. This is a good base for exploring Auckland and Northland.

We are most suitable for mature, independent couples or friends with their own transport, or ideal for a motor home. You will also need to be comfortable around dogs and teenagers.

If you enjoy starting and finishing a project and take pride in your work, then ... more inside

Kia Ora,
This is a lifestyle block where we are working on regenerative agriculture and permaculture principles. Restoring a native wetland and growing nutrient dense food. We are a family with three children two of who are at school. Sam is a Chiropractor and is passionate about natural health practices. Jurjen is an electrical engineer and cabinet maker and is passionate about regenerative agriculture. Jurjen speaks Dutch and we are English speaking. Tasks vary from heavy scrub cutting, fencing and wetland planting, to renovating existing buildings, to light weeding and propagation work in the food garden and home chores such as tiding and cleaning. There are tasks for everyone.
We would love to welcome people who have an interest in eco practices, living in harmony with the environment and each other. We would ask that you have experience living away from home and are able to take care of yourselves. You will need to be fit and healthy as the majority of the work is on the lan... more inside

HELP WITH 2 LOVELY CHILDREN PLEASE, AGES 7 AND 9 IN JUNE 2017

Kiaora. We are a family of 4, and we live on 5 acres in Matakana, which is one hour from Auckland on the stunning matakana coast. Our children are Charlie (girl) 9, and Barnaby is 7. We have 2 cats and an amazing dog. We also have 2 lovely goats, 11 sheep and 7 peking ducks. We are looking to travel without our children for a week in June this year for my sister's 40th birthday, and would love 2 girls to come and look after our children for a week in June 2017. The children catch the bus right from the farm gate to and from school. Our farm is only 8 minutes to the picturesque Matakana Village.

You would have to help get the kids ready for school for about an hour in the morning, and then meet them off the bus and get their afternoon tea and dinner in the evening. During the day you can do what you like, there is a lot to do in the area, which is very popular with tourists. The beaches are incredible, even in June!... more inside
