Our family run a busy farm and we are looking for help with various odd jobs around the property. Jobs can include gardening, mowing, weeding, handyman work, painting, tractor work, cleaning etc. All depending on helpers interests, skills and expertise.

In return we offer accommodation (own room in our home with a king size bed, air con, TV/DVD) and meals. There is also wifi access. We are a very relaxed and outgoing family and we are used to having people living with us, as we've had lots of backpackers staying with us over the years. We also have dogs, cats and ducks who are part of the family.

There are lots of opportunities to relax and enjoy our property, the town and region. We have a creek that runs through the property which is a beautiful location for swimming and relaxation. We live only 3km from the very friendly and welcoming town of Biloela where you will have the opportunity to get to know both locals and backpackers. Biloela is approximately 120km inland from G... more inside

Dear Travellers, Welcome to Brisbane.

WHO WE ARE: Our names are Deborah and Paul. We both work full time and are very proud parents of three children, plus a super-friendly Groodle dog named Barclay. We also have a lovely German au-pair whom helps us with the children and the house.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- We have a beautiful, traditional old house called a “Queenslander” on 10 acres in Upper Brookfield, which is around 40 minutes from Brisbane City via car (25 kms). The house has a spectacular view of Brisbane
- It is surrounded by natural bushland and features many native Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies, possums, parrots and (unfortunately very rarely) koalas.
- You would have our spare room with a double bed
- You would share a lounge room (featuring a TV, couch, WiFi) and bathroom with our aupair.
- You would be able to take advantage of our swimming pool and tennis court when you are not working.
- We would also provide all meals, bed linen, and... more inside

** NEXT AVAILABLE BOOKING IS 15TH JULY, UNFORTUNATELY NO BOOKINGS AVAILABLE BEFORE THIS TIME. LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU THEN!**

Hey Travellers! Welcome to the Sunshine Coast!

My name is Samantha, I live in the very lovely Northern Sunshine Coast Hinterland, near the alternative town of Cooran. We are close to the Noosa trail (Bushwalking, Mountain Biking), 20 mins from Eumundi markets and half and hour from the world famous Noosa rivers and beaches (surfing, Paddle Boarding). I am close to the Pomona Vipassana Centre and there are numerous yoga classes, meditation groups and a drumming class in close proximity.
I live in a very comfortable modern 3 bedroom Queenslander on 5 acres, which is ‘off the grid’ with my own solar, rain water and bio-cycle systems. Extensive verandas take in views over the rolling hills. There is always a breeze and it’s generally cooler than on the coast. There is lots of wildlife with regular visits from kangaroos, wallabies, possums, ... more inside

Our house is surrounded by creeks, dams, water birds, swimming holes, koala sanctuaries, and national park. It’s private, picturesque, and very very pretty. The arty alternative township of Maleny is a twenty minute drive away, beaches are 40 minutes. There’s waterfalls and bush walks nearby. You’d have a little caravan with a double bed and access to outdoor bathroom and use of my kitchen. I live in a little log cabin near the caravan, with my gorgeous two year old. Breakfast and board in exchange for a few hours of babysitting a day. You’re also welcome to join us for dinner on the nights that I am home and cooking (every second or third night). Queer friendly. Kids very welcome.

Our home was once a native bush flower farm but it is no longer in use. Our neighbour has cows and horses but there are no animals on our property.

“HOME AWAY FROM HOME”

Hello & welcome to Australia. :-)
I enjoy cultural experiences & learning about others from around the world.

I am looking for ONE FEMALE to help me with:

Our local Train Station into the CBD is not so far away.

Lots of Australian Native Wildlife for you to see nearby where I live.
In return for your help I can offer you your own comfortable bedroom with meals including some WIFI.

Rustic eco- retreat in very quiet, peaceful, rainforest location, has mango, avocado, pecan trees.
The property is 20 minutes drive from town, and has limited cell-phone and internet reception (no wifi) so is ideal for a break from technology.
I'm working to create a sacred garden honoring the divine feminine here, but the retreat has been closed awhile so the garden has been let go and is more feral than garden!
I need help, initially, with taming the wild a bit and with cleaning up the buildings.
I'm looking for respectful, consciously and environmentally aware, nature loving, spiritually oriented people who'd like to do some kirtan chanting and perhaps participate in some collaborative arts projects to add beauty to the retreat. I could offer some meditation instruction if desired.
