I have a large character house in Bassendean right by the swan river. The area is lovely with lots of walks, coffee shops and right next door to the historical Guildford.

I live here alone and often need help with general garden work, moving things around and making the place pretty. If you have excellent organisational skills or handyman skills that is a plus. Couples are preferred or two girls travelling together, still open to men travelling solo just send me some info on yourself.

A bit about me! I am a very young mature age lady ;) I do Vintage Markets, see live music and bit of a shaker and a mover really. Smoking outside ;) is fine.

The house is older but has character and is clean and a nice space but it definitely could do with some help in terms of organising. You will have a really big room out the back of the house with some privacy for yourself. I am on a main road (Guildford Road) so you will hear the traffic but I have noise shutters on your window so its not... more inside

My son and I have a place on the edge of town that we are slowly yet surely turning into an urban permaculture garden. My goal is to convert my suburban block into a biologically diverse, ecologically helpful little island abundant in food and life. We back on to the bush and are only a short ride from the beach and town. We love music and art and happy friendly people who care. Help needed is varied from Gardening to building to babysitting or tidying depending on what you are suited to and what we are needing at the time. We are pretty casual with work and believe that it should be a fun experience for helpers, and not too much work.

We are also on Couchsurfing if you want to check out our profile there.

I'm also involved with a community garden project at our local art centre which helpers are invited to get involved with during their stay.

Accommodation is in a caravan in the back yard. Bathroom is shared with us.

We have a small Macadamia and Olive Grove on our property in the beautiful Swan Valley region, only 30kms from Perth CBD.
We need help tending and pruning trees, picking olives late April-May and picking Macadamia nuts from May-July. Cracking nuts is another task which can be done most times of the year with our electric nut cracker. In exchange for helping us with these tasks, we can provide either a spare room in our 4 x 2 house or in a brick outbuilding having its own bathroom and toilet - The shower is very good and hot! We would also provide food and cooking facilities. We are needing help from mid April. We live on our property with our adult son Nick. There is a bus service to Midland during the week from our road and from Midland you can get train to Perth (30 mins) Look forward to meeting you.
