We live on the water's edge of the River Dart in beautiful Devon !
We need help in the garden and vegetable garden, chopping logs and clearing up generally.
We need help in my scuptor’s studio moving plinths and sculptures and maybe help with sanding and ‘roughing out’ wood. Tidying the studio too.
It would be good if a man could use a chainsaw?.
In the house we need help with clearing out cupboards and maybe cooking for the freezer , also decorating/ painting and DIY in the house if the weather is bad outside.
We also have old wooden boats that need attention .
We are two miles from the village shop but have two cars and can transport people easily to Totnes or Dartmouth:

**We need someone from 20 April til the end of May! **
Are you available for at least 4 weeks? Do you have experience with horses/ponies? Housework? Gardening?
We are a Riding holiday centre with 14 ponies and other animals (goats, chickens, guinea pigs and geckos!
We are in the Lincolnshire Fens - flat fertile farmland on the East Coast of England. It is a very rural area, about 6 miles to the nearest town, but there is a station 2 miles away and a demand responsive bus which comes past the farm (but not often!).
I am in a wheelchair (paraplegic) and struggle along with 2 full time girls so any help around the farm with garden, children, ponies or other animals would be great for us. You would be welcome any time of the year.
In return for your work we can offer you a nice room in the farmhouse and home cooked food plus some horse riding. You need to be versatile and do a bit of everything, as no day is ever the same here! Someimes the work outside mucking out can be physica... more inside

We are a highly rated (5 star Tripadvisor) in the picturesque Wye Valley. We are situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and are right on the border of England and Wales. There are well known mountain biking centres within a few miles with an abundance of of outdoor pursuits close by. There are many canoeing and kayaking centres in the area.
There is a bus stop right outside the house serviced by a bus running between Chepstow and Monmouth which drives past the famous Tintern Abbey.

*????*????*????*????Looking for a couple to work 20 hours each in exchange of accommodation and some food*????*????*????*????

I have a small petting farm and farm shop in the Highlands of Scotland - John O'Groats a bucket list destination for many. I bought the farm in Sept 2016 as a running business, there is lots to do to try to get it where i would like to be long term. Running the farm by myself with only so many hours in a day means any help is really appreciated!

Areas where help is needed include - feeding and cleaning out the animals, chopping carrots (for visitors to feed the animals), repairing fences and fence maintenance, painting, weeding, grass cutting, cleaning the house, and being on hand to help with visitors when i am away from the farm.

A two berth caravan is on site for volunteers, it is dry, warm and cosy. You also have access to the house for showers (as the caravan bathroom is tiny) and to use the kitchen for meals as needed. There is a farm shop at... more inside

Our land is half woods, half pasture. A beautiful valley close to South Brent in Devon.

Work this spring / summer is mainly woodland management, preparing firewood, milling, stacking & stripping timber, and looking after the poultry. There will also be a couple of events which I might require assistance with. At present I am very busy with paperwork for a planning appeal - so you need to be practical and responsible as you will be expected to complete jobs under your own steam.

We have also planted a tree nursery and orchard which requires care, organically reared chickens who need feeding.

Experienced or skilled / able volunteers most welcome.
Check the website and get in touch.

You will need to be self-motivated and able to cook for yourself (it's self-catering). I come in and out of the woods most days & do a weekly shop or as I can, or you can walk/cycle / hitch to the shops in South Brent / Totnes with ease.

Accommodation is in caravan or yurt. Self catering in ... more inside

We are a family of 3, living in a beautiful Somerset village called Mells. We are about 10 mins by car or bus to the market town of Frome which has recently been voted as the coolest town to live by Guardian magazine. It has lots of cultural things to do, especially if you like music, funky shops and an artisan market.
Our village also has two cafes, a great pub, as well as many country walks to enjoy with our Labrador dog called Nala. When we are not working, we enjoy spending time at home, developing our garden which is a project that we would very much like help with. We ‘re hoping to start growing vegetables and to create a beautiful pond area.
Rachel has travelled a lot in her twenties and lived in France and Italy so is very passionate about the joys of travelling to new places and discovery new cultures.
