Unique lifestyle block just out of Whangarei. Nestles on the side of an old volcano with masses of bush behind and overlooking extensive rural views. Lots of fruit trees, 3 alpacas and 2-3 steers to keep the grass down.
Have a sleepout which is private and airy. Wifi and TV. Swimming pool.
I live alone on my place and there are always things that need to be done.
I don't eat meat but do eat fish.
Own transport essential.
I travelled extensively as a young man and found one of the best things about travelling was meeting other travellers.

We are a mature age couple in a long term relationship producing an organic garlic crop each year for local markets.
We have a comfortable cabin for sleeping up to 2 adults.
The property consists of large mature and ancient native forest where we control the possum population by trapping and poisoning and harvesting the fur.About 8 to 10 acres of cropping land and there is about 70 acres of regrowth Ti Tree( manuka) and exotic timber which we need assistance with harvesting and milling.
We have returned to live here for our retirement and do not like to work all day every day but there are busy periods throughout the year.
We will provide 3 meals and washing facilities, and internet as well as sleeping space for a 4 hour work day on average over a period of a few days.Depends on the what is happening in the annual cycle.
Our Property is 30 minutes from Kaitaia and 20 minutes from Ahipara beach. It is beautiful peaceful and remote.
We have sky TV and fast wireless inte... more inside

We need someone leading up to Xmas 2016!!!

A really cool family requiring some day to day help!

We are very relaxed but I need some help first thing in the morning and in the afternoon helping with 3 kids - 6, 13 and 14 years. The kids are very self sufficient and super cool and friendly.

I just need help watching them and being in the house as I may be late home in the evening.

The only other thing to do is to help keep the house tidy - nothing major , just a little vacuum and small stuff.

The rest of the time is yours to enjoy. We have a lovely rIver to swim in and less than ten minutes to Kerikeri and Paihia.

You have your own room upstairs in a loft with all you would expect including awesome company, WiFi and Netflicks!

We also have a cool small poodle, pregnant cat and chickens.

Hope to hear from you soon.....

Situated at Whananaki we have just purchased 20 acres of Bush & are currently camping. Myself and two of my children whom I home school. Helper would be sleeping in a tent & be prepared to "rough it" although I have a camp kitchen set up and a long drop toilet.Help would be assorted jobs, for example. .. gardening, tree planting, firewood gathering /chopping, building maintenance, & domestic chores.
In return I will provide delicious mainly vegetarian meals & helper would have the opportunity to join us on our many trips to the coast & beyond. We have a horse that we regularly ride and care for so somebody with experience with horses would be a bonus.

I have a small property East of Whangarei where I keep horses, llamas, plus turkeys , two catsand two dogs. If you are looking for a helpx spot in Whangarei please email me. I am relaxed about the term, as I can always use some help on the property and with the animals! It is a quiet rural spot (except for the noisy pukekos)!
General assistance on the property. Gardening, weed removal and minor construction if you have the skills!
Accomodation is comfy and friendly!
Cheers
Penny

We are big, friendly family lucky enough to live on a beautiful 170 acre property in the Far North, about 30 minutes from Kerikeri. We have 4 awesome kids that live here with us on the farm.
We have a few farm animals - Highland cattle, Arapawa sheep, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, and there is also 100 acres in covenanted native bush with streams, tracks, a small Kauri stand, Kiwi, glowworms and heaps more!
We have been here 2 years and have put in a large organic vege patch, extended the orchards, landscaped the yard and converted the old goat shed into a second house, cut tracks in the bush. We do our best to be organic and sustainable in all areas, though we treat this as a commitment rather than a rule - ie we will drench a sheep if it is clearly unwell (hardly ever!)
In addition to these projects we have a heap of firewood to move, cut and store, as well as general maintenance and improvement around the house, farm and bush. With so much to do and little ones underfoot we... more inside
