Hi,

We live in the beautiful bayside village of Mount Martha on the Mornington Peninsula.

We are inviting 1 person to come and help. Ideally we would like a Helper to stay for two weeks or more (if this suits both of us).

A female with Au Pair experience is very much preferable, with natural ability to be surrounded by a young spirit, as we have a 2 year old toddler who is actively learning new things everyday.

Someone that's responsible, flexible and shows initiative is preferable.

The work is mostly light jobs in and around the house (4hours per day) eg. cooking meals, child minding, cleaning, washing, and some garden maintenance.
Your work would be 4 hours per day for 4 days, then one day off or something similar that will be a win-win situation for you :)

Our property is on the edge of native bush land (1hour drive from Melbourne) which is perfect for hiking. Lots of nature, beaches & wifi.

You would have your own private bedroom & bathroom with linen a... more inside

This is a family home on an acre of landscaped Australian bush garden in a seaside town on the south east coast of Australia. We grow our own vegies, all in boxes, some of them whicking beds. We also have some fruit trees, chickens and a very friendly dog. We are looking for helpers either with carpentry/building skills/qualifications to help with some small scale changes in the house, some outdoor paving, or helpers to work in the garden doing seasonal maintenance, putting more whicking beds in, and helping us to remove some end of life shrubs and small trees.

We have a very large light room looking onto the garden available for you to sleep in, with a queen size very comfy latex mattress, as well as a fold out couch with a comfy queen size mattress. This would suit 1 or 2 people, either singles, couples, or friends traveling together. Bathroom is light and airy, may be shared with our son.

Your room has a dining table, another couch and chairs, and a small bar with fridge ... more inside

We are surrounded by the neighbouring property, which in turn is surrounded by the beautiful Hepburn Regional Park.
We are renovating the existing home to a north-facing, sustainable, solar-passive home, embracing some of the Earthship and Living Architecture principles, and following permaculture and other organic gardening principles.

At the moment there is myself and my partner Natalie and 6 year old son, Tyber, half of the time, as well as regular visitors and travelers.
My passions include sustainability, healthy eating, yoga and meditation, art and music.
There are regular early morning community yoga classes held in the house.

* maintenance and planting of organic vegetable beds,
* weeding,
* landscaping,

We are a small farm in South Gippsland 3 hours East of Melbourne, within easy reach of Wilsons Prom, Tarra Bulga NP historic Port Albert and 90 mile beach, therefore your own transport is an advantage .
Public transport via v/line bus is available to the local town of Alberton 2km away and I am happy to pick you up from here.
Ross is away a lot for work and therefore you may not get to see him and my son Tom also lives here until he marries in a months time when he will move away (although I hope he and his wife Sarah will be around a lot), so mostly there will be me Di and the dogs (at least two and maybe more depending on who I am looking after.
As a small property there is mostly not a lot of farm work to be carried out. But my garden is large both vegetables and flowers and I enjoy spending my time there, this is where I need help and also in the house as I would rather be doing other things.
I need people who are flexible and willing to work independently, you will be w... more inside
