We are a small team who collectively own and work a 32 acre mixed farm in Worcestershire. We aspire to a model of agriculture which is ecologically, economically and socially regenerative using profitable, soil building enterprises. We are primarily market gardeners, selling high quality organic vegetables from our 1acre no-dig market garden directly to consumers through our vegbox deliveries or wholesale to retailers, restaurants & distributors. Along side the market gardening we use holistic planned grazing to regenerate our pastures with sheep & pigs, and are undertaking an extensive & diverse agroforestry project throughout the farm over the next few years. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in producing food professionally and have a strong work ethic. In exchange for your labour we will provide food, comfortable accommodation, structured education and for those willing to commit for longer periods a financial allowance. We have 30 years experience growing organic... more inside

We are a community of 4 families living independently and sustainably in 4 low-energy converted barns with wood heating and renewable energy.
We have 5 hectares of land (half of it young woodland) which needs upkeep and have a small orchard and vegetable garden that needs looking after. We all have jobs outside of Cwm Maddoc and so would benefit from help with land maintenance. We have work days occasionally and regular weekly gardening mornings.
We are in a beautiful rural location where transport is slightly difficult (irregular bus service). Accommodation is in a wooden cabin which is off-grid (with solar power and running water) and wood burners. It has it`s own long-drop loo next door and the shower is a short walk away.
The surrounding areas of Herefordshire and Wales are stunningly beautiful with lovely walks, kayaking, wild swimming and cycling. The Black Mountains and Wye and Monnow Rivers are on the doorstep.
Summer life here is very sociable with outdoor space... more inside

We are a family who live in Sunny South Devon with 30 acres of private land at our home purely used for our own horses. We currently own 3 horses, 2 foals and 2 miniature ponies, all are pets. The land is getting the better of us, there always seems a job to do.
We are looking for someone a single person or a couple to help us maintain the land, possible fencing, gates etc strimming, hedge trimming, an odd bit of gardening, weeding, occasional window cleaning, brushing up etc, it would be brilliant if someone is also handy with tools but is not necessary.
We are going to be building another house just down the road from where we currently live in about 3 months time so if there is someone who has a talent within the building industry it would also be a bonus.
We are happy to negotiate the persons hours to suit, we don`t expect all day ! just a few hours.
In return we will offer a comfortable modern caravan to stay in, with electric and running water.
We are located in a quiet... more inside

Hello my name is Philip and my wife is Allison . We have a beautiful piece of land in Devon where we look after and breed alpacas. We often have beautiful baby alpacas in the summer . We have some tourism here as we have two bell tents and a shepherds hut. I like nature and the outdoors and like to have interesting conversations with any helpers we have. I am also interested in Japanese culture. We normally only take one or two helpers at a time who will live in a comfortable caravan independently with food that we will supply freely. The work is five days a week and is very enjoyable and variable. It will be feeding and helping the animals as well as some light farm work, nothing too heavy. Also some tidying of the tents. Please contact me with any questions. We look forward to meeting you

We are about 5km from the beautiful Norfolk coast, with a large organic garden and allotment, a friendly dog, chickens and runner ducks! Helpers have their own accommodation and share meals with us in the house. We normally ask for four hours help each day except Sunday in the garden or on the allotment. We prefer some knowledge of growing and horticulture but this is not essential.

Thank you for reading our profile to the end before emailing.

We mix the volunteers. In each group we have different nationalities genders languages and ages to make it interesting and for the opportunity of meeting new people.

When you come there should be no more than one other who speaks your language most days.
The common language is English and we take our role of helping with the English language seriously.
Volunteers have started with a little English and also with good English in both cases there has been noticeable improvement.

I run a holiday let business and I need help with my business and my dogs while I am away. I have a large home in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty. Jobs would be to walk the dogs and help me in my home and meet and greet the guests and help with the general maintenance of the holiday homes.

There is a car provided so a driving licence would be ideal. The business is very interesting as people from all over the world stay in my holiday cottages all year around. My home is very near to a beautiful town with plenty to do.
