Hi there :)
I am hoping to find someone who can stay and help with childcare and housekeeping.

I have 2 children aged 3 and 10, and need approx 15 hours a week of help, in exchange for food and board.
Ideally I am looking for someone who can stay on longer ie a few months.

This would suit a female who is experienced and confident in childcare - an ability to cook would be a bonus but not necessary.

We are located in the Waitakere ranges about 20 minutes from Piha beach and are close to public transport. We are walking distance to the lovely Titirangi village 2km's and have native bush on our section. There are also a lot of cafe's in the area if you are wanting to find some extra work as well.

I am also happy to accommodate dietary requirements like, gluten free, paleo, vegetarian, dairy free.

We are a friendly family who will make you feel at home.
Nadine :)

We run an eco-arts retreat near Bethells Beach & often need help with gardening, permaculture projects, building, cleaning for retreats & general property maintenance. While we sometimes take particularly skilled people on a longer term basis (1-2 months) its easier for us to host short term stays from Sunday to Friday, as we often have weekend bookings, or you can camp out for the weekend by our beautiful spring* Currently we only provide accommodation in exchange for 3 hours work, but you can pick any veges from the garden.
30mins drive from Auckland CBD, 4mins from Beach, 10mins drive from train station (we can pick you up if you don't have a transport). Plenty of walking tracks. We always make sure you get to experience the beach, lake, bush & waterfall. Music down at the beach every Friday over summer. Often other lovely people in the area need help and will offer weekend stays when we're booked up, or a days food in exchange for a couple of hours help with a project.. I live in Orewa, near the fabulous 3 km long Orewa beach. Orewa has walkways, bush walks, and a great 7 km estuary cycle track and I have a bicycle to lend. Easy access to areas of natural beauty and a thriving arts community. My small section needs a thorough autumn clearing - and a fence painted.

Bev runs an organic pastoral farm specialising in livestock breeding suitable for organic or biological methods.
Bev is active in running the biological farmer regional group with field days The farm have been chosen as a demonstration flagship site for the nearby Kaipara Estuary Restoration project and work closely with them to restore natural habitat on the farm to protect the Kaipara harbour.
The farm is essentially a restorative agricultural enterprise with a significant educational off farm endeavour.

At present (autumn 2016) we are looking for some one to live in the self contained accommodation and look after the teenage kids whilst we are away on conference leave.
It is really about keeping a steady ship and kids on track. No farm work as mostly all done at the moment. Just the sundry dogs and cats that the kids feed. There is plenty to keep occupied in the run up before we leave.
Barry comes three times a week to do property maintenance.

## Looking for some help over the next couple weeks, the sun may be shining so if you are up for some outdoor jobs then let us know. At this time we would prefer one/two strong lads able to use garden machinery ie weed eater etc. ##

We have a separate cabin that you can stay in so you can have your own privacy.

We have a small lifestyle farmlet, with chickens, big vege garden, pond and a large house.
There is also a guest house loft (beautiful view over the valley ) with bathroom an toilet
We are vegetarians, sometimes fish, we bake our own bread, cakes and make preserves like jam and pickles. We try to live off the land although not big, it works and we do not buy much in.

The work is mainly house work, gardening as in weeding, digging, cleaning chicken run, pruning and at the moment harvesting and preserving, juice making, jam cooking.
We expect 5h work per day 6 days /per week. We do not offer any sightseeing or extras, but we strongly believe in :"what goes around comes around"
We are members of Wwoof for some 15 years and had guests in our house on a regular basis.

We are a busy family living on a small lifestyle block (homestead) in Hunua, about 45 minutes from central Auckland. Our household includes 3 school children, 1 pre-schooler, a retired racing greyhound, 2 friendly cats, an assortment of chickens and a small flock of Suffolk sheep. We run a business from home, meaning that we are in and around the house most of the time.

Our property is rather rustic and has many projects on the go to bring it into line. Our kitchen garden is expanding as we work further towards self-sufficiency, and this is where a lot of work is needed. But a long-neglected property also means that we need help with thistle and weed control, fence repairs, scrub clearing, renovation, painting and general maintenance tasks. Helpers can also have a go at beekeeping, beer-making, wine-making, animal care (feeding, shearing, drenching, docking) as they are required. For those with more indoor interests, help with the house, kitchen, and children is always appr... more inside
