We are now fully booked for the season, thanks for your interest.

We run an organic market garden producing vegetables, salads, herbs and cut flowers and sell our produce in Fife and Edinburgh and go to weekly farmer`s markets.
The farm was started in 2015 by Rosy (28) and David (35) and Luna (dog), who have both been help exchangers previously as well as working on a number of organic farms.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about organic farming and would like to learn more. We also prefer helpers who are mature, self content, and understanding of the commercial and sometimes fast paced nature of our business.
We really need help with weeding and harvesting mainly, but will try to keep work varied to make sure that you learn a lot and enjoy yourself. It will be hard work, but also rewarding. It is essential that you like dogs.
we can share knowledge of herbal medicine, organic growing, business start up and cut flower growing. This year we are a... more inside

We are in the beautiful countryside on the Isle of Anglesey. We have holiday cottages on a 3acre site which is mainly devoted to trees and wildlife. The Island is very beautiful and quiet. There are loads of beaches, many miles of footpath and cycle routes. Your accommodation would be in a very well appointed modern caravan. It has two bedrooms, shower room, kitchen, and lounge. More details can be seen on our website. It is called Caravan 2. You would supply your own food. Cooking facilities are provided, gas and electric are included. We would expect you to work 10 hours per week or 2 hours on a daily basis, on gardening cleaning and maintenance.

Looking for friendly person to help us in our lovely Bristol home as we have twin boys, aged 4 months and we need a bit of a lift sometimes! Max 4 hours work a day.

The work would be light housework/cleaning, cooking, gardening and helping with the boys. They boys are totally gorgeous to be with and our house is a warm, friendly place. We can offer a single room which is quiet and clean. You would have full use of the rest of the house, kitchen, sitting room and dining room. You would share a bathroom with us.

We are both in the education and sustainability worlds, and have spent time (in the past before family life!) wwoofing, travelling and being in community. We love to sit and talk about the state of the world, ideas, art, travel and foodÖand we love meeting new people and finding out all about you. We have lots of books, lovely art on the walls and great speakers for enjoying music!

Small Croft (15acres) with house and separate cottage. Weíve recently moved in with our 8 month old baby and need help turning it all from neglected (had been empty for 18 months) into a loved home. There is plenty of scope for someone with experience outdoors (strimming, mowing, fencing, digging ditches, clearing woodland, rebuilding stone walls and any gardening/plant knowledge) and also lots of painting (inside and outside - walls and windows!) as well as anyone happy to do basic housework, babysitting or helping exercise our 2 dogs. Equally if someone is skilled/experienced at maintaining wooden boats, there is plenty to be done with that too!

We are very lucky to be in a picturesque spot overlooking the loch, with an abundance of wildlife ranging from sea eagles to deer and lots of unusual flowers and trees. If you love nature and the outdoors you will think itís heaven!

There is a separate newly refurbished one bed cottage with bathroom and living room/kitchen av... more inside

We live in a big old Mill building with various nooks and crannies that people rent out for living, music, painting. My partner collects and restores old cars and tractors as well as attempting to keep up with the continued upkeep and gardening of the property. The property is on the river Exe and unfortunately floods at least once a year, but it is in a beautiful part of the world so that makes it worthwhile.

We would like someone to come and help us with general upkeep, gardening and repairs, in return you would get a caravan to live in and meals with us. You would also get the opportunity to be taken out and about - mainly to pubs - around the area.
I practice Martial Arts and BSL if this is an interest of yours.

We are a small Buddhist retreat centre connected to the famous Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. We have just bought the property in the Highlands of Scotland overlooking Loch Ness and need to do some conversion work.
We are looking for people to come and help create a small kitchen (mainly plumbing and joinery skills) and to decorate rooms (painting/papering).

Hi,

We live in a pretty village called Dunsford on the edge of Dartmoor national park. We try to grow as much veg as we can for ourselves aswell as sometimes selling it out of the gate. We are in the middle of the bus route between Exeter and Mortenhampstead on the Moor.

There are 4 permanent residents here. Its Pips place and also living here are Rory (son) and gilfriend Elsa (french speaking) ,and our friendly lodger, Paul. Elsa and I are 28 and 25 years old and work as a gardeners (and french teachers!). We have a vegetable patch and chickens and geese. In walking distance theres a wood, river and Dartmoor national park. I frequently travel to the coast with friends to go surfing / snorkeling / fishing I would be more than happy to include helpers in these activities. My mum takes our border collie walking on Dartmoor with a rambling group on Sundays.

We`d offer board and lodging in return for 4 hours of (enthusiastic!) work each day with a couple of day... more inside

Hi, Iím Fred. Iím 38 years old and Iíve been studying several foreign languages for a few years. I have low intermediate Spanish, French and Italian, and lower Russian.

Iíll happily host native speakers of these languages for 1-4 weeks at a time, in exchange for a few hours language practice per day. I can only host 1 person at any time.

I`m looking for easy-going, sociable, happy and open people who want to experience cultural Liverpool and who will want to get to know whoever is living in the house at the time.

You must be a native speaker of Russian, Spanish, French or Italian. If you`re a speaker of Russian, you`ll need to have a high level of English. If you`re a speaker of Spanish, French or Italian, it`s not so important.

Helpers will be required to help me with learning their mother tongue, but you will have plenty of free time. Language practice will be for approximately 2-3 hours each day. Even when we`re not practising, I would prefer to comm... more inside

Volunteers welcome for late September onwards who are interested in helping in the house with cooking, cleaning, ironing and laundry. Making rooms ready to receive guests.

I enjoy trying new food from around the world, so if you have any favourite recipes, please bring them along.

There will be some work in the garden, staying in my home in Birmingham. The work will be hands on, digging, planting, weeding, getting hedges under control. You need to know a little about gardening, and be able to use lawn mower and hedge trimmers etc.

There may be some furniture upcycling too, painting old furniture I got from the charity shop. I`m looking for people who can work fairly independently, and enjoy the work, and enjoy being creative within a general outline plan.

Some decorating and odd jobs around the house might be involved too, particularly when the weather is not great.
