Hi,

We are 7 mins from Raglan living in a house we built out of the forest around us.

Daniel is an Architect/Carpenter working from home and I am currently working full time. We have 2 lively boys, a bouncy dog, cat, chickens and a talkative sheep.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG AND we would love some help in the garden weed wacking and perhaps lending a hand around the house with whatever needs a little help. If your a cook GREAT!! If you have a green thumb, like the outdoors and are not afraid of some physical work give us a call. This is only for a short term stay of a week starting around the 11th as we have visitors.

We offer a stunning guest room and ask for 4 hours a day work in exchange for food and accommodation.

Raglan is a great place to enjoy the beach, surfing, walks and the alternative lifestyle.

Please call us if you have any questions and we look forward to having you.

Regards
Erin & Daniel

Help wanted now. Come and stay in my lovely west Auckland home, help me out with getting things, clean tidy and organised for Summer after a Winter of neglect.
Gardening,weeding,cleaning, de cluttering and organising.
If you have basic plumbing skills, can fix the rust on my old truck or are a mechanic you are extra welcome. Once we are tidied up there are some projects to play with.
My home is in a lovely part of the city fringe close to bush, beach and funky cafes and bars. We have bikes etc
We have been hosting for 10 and a half years now. Please see our great feedback.
Currently I have a small apartment you can use and be independent with your food.

Would suit a couple or 2 friends who will keep each other company when not working.
Singles considered.

Reasonable English preferred.

Can you cook me delicious food? Help in house and garden?

I live alone in a comfortable 2 bedroom house on a big section, 10 minutes drive to the city, perhaps 20 minutes by bus. I don't have any organic credentials though I do grow some veges...

But I'm thinking it would be great to have some (solo preferred) company, a visitor from around the world, maybe 3-7 days, while you get to explore Auckland before heading off to the beautiful parts of NZ.

You would be sharing a room with my grand piano (which I have to work on sometimes) ... but it is a big room. I hope you can cook ... I can lol.

Actually I rent this home, so there is no major work to be done, but there is always something to be done, mostly just the housework, and doing things in the garden.

I am a mature guy, classical musician by trade, and I'd enjoy the variety of different visitors from around the world. Ich kann ein Bisschen Deutsch, fast.

Around here there is wonderful walking by the sea. though... more inside

A well loved place by previous HelpXers!

In particular, we are looking for some HelpXers to stay with us in November or December 2019.

An old tennis court, swimming pool, two friendly pigs, the coolest donkey and three lovely goats...are the stand out features of this idyllic 7 acre property 25min from central Auckland.

We are a friendly couple in our mid thirties and have a two 1/2 year old son and an eleven month old daughter.

It's not super demanding work that we are needing done - pruning, weeding, painting and helping out with dinner preparations would be the main tasks. Our expectations would be four hours per day per person - however we are flexible, (i.e. work a full day in return for the next day off).

In return we can offer a room, three meals (help yourself to lunch and breakfast and together we can cook a delicious dinner.) Am happy to work in with whatever dietary requirements you may have. We may also be able to offer the use of a car, although this n... more inside

UPDATED: WE HAVE HAD A CANCELLATION AND ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO COME NOW :)

Kia ora!

Our names are Cat and Aaron and we live on the lovely Awhitu Peninsula, which is a small community in the countryside about one and a half hours south west of Auckland. We have two lovely young kids (4 and 6 years).

We are looking for someone to help with gardening and landscaping, general household work and helping us set up and get started with our new mushroom growing business.

Your accommodation is in a separate building to our house with its own toilet and basin. The bathroom is in the house. We eat healthy wholesome food with a lot of vegetables from our own garden.

If you do not have a car, you can catch the train from Auckland to Pukekohe and we will arrange a time to pick you up.

We have being hosting people for for the last 5 years, which we have really enjoyed.

Please feel free to contact us to enquire further.

The vegetable garden and hedges needs some help too, to give the results that only friendly helpx hands can create. If you would like to help its not too difficult just letting our jungle breathe again If you like beaches, parks and the odd volcano then this little place might be the place for you.

About us:

I live on a small 5 acre lifestyle block, 48 km South of Auckland CBD, that is also home to one horse, a small dog, cat, a couple of free-range hens and a rooster!

Helpers are welcome for short stays of approximately ONE WEEK, and mature, practical-minded people with a few years life experience are preferred. None of the jobs are difficult but do require a reasonable level of fitness and you need to be able to work independently. Non-smokers only please.

Some amazing helpx helpers have helped establish the kitchen gardens and some help is now needed on general gardens and landscaping. Depending on the time of the year, some of the tasks you may be asked to help with are: lawn mowing, planting trees, weeding and mulching garden beds, grubbing thistles, paddock weeds and brush-cutting (strimming/weed-eating).

You will have a very comfortable room with your own bathroom in exchange for 4 hours work per person each day, however I can be flexible with this, for ... more inside

Kia Ora!

We are Pete and Diana.

Please write the dates you are interested in coming and what experience you have if any working with farm tools.

We would welcome either a couple or single person. Non smokers please.

We live on a 10 acre lifestyle block, made up of 7 paddocks and a small bush. Located on a hillside, with spectacular views of Auckland and in the distance Manukau harbour Ė the view is special.

There is always plenty to do on the property and you can choose to stay shorter or longer with us.

We run beef cows (between 3 and 7 usually) and have two dogs.

We have always been very flexible to working hours. We would typically ask you to work 5-6 hours for 4 days and 6 hours on either Sat or Sunday, pending Peteís availability. If you need to do stuff, then we can usually support you working around these times. Some work will be alongside Pete, but majority of time you will be just shown the tasks and wished luck!
