Hello and Welcome to NZ,

Need helpers from 27th Jan till 8th Feb. Then from March.

I built this eco-house from earth bricks and natural timbers, because I wanted a healthy, relaxing environment.
It's on a 17 acre (6.7 hectare) paradise looking onto native bush, located in the Bombay Hills, about 60 km south of Auckland CBD and 12km from the bus stop or the nearest shop.

I've studied Organic Horticulture and grow our food that way, living a holistic, healthy lifestyle. There's avocado, lemon, lime, mandarin, banana, macadamia trees, as well as fresh vegetables and herbs.

Personally I eat an "O" blood type diet including meat, without grains and dairy, but I can buy them for you. Please tell me your food needs as I want you to be happy.

Mature helpers who speak English are welcome, so they can follow instructions and have enough life experience to see what needs to be done and tidy up as they go.

I expect 5 hours work a day, help with preparing meals, dishes and kee... more inside

Hi and welcome to Auckland!

We need some help with general household spring cleaning.

We need help for either a couple of days or a week or a couple of weeks. It would be helpful if you could drive and hold a correct driving license.

I have three children who are 14, 12 and 9. Sometimes I need help looking after them if I have to be on a job for the day away from the home so please only apply if you are friendly, honest and trustworthy.

In return... Great food, a private room and a great rural NZ location, and a friendly family.

Speak soon,

Sharon

We have a small lifestyle block which needs constant attention although four sheep and two goats really help. Nice front lawn which ride on mower takes care of. Organic plum and apple tree. Seasonal vegetables grown. Someone who can use a tree trimmer; weedeater; spade work and general gardening would be really helpful. Planting new shrubs and able to dig around garden to keep it looking tidy, would also be helpful. Some spraying of edges needed from time to time.

Hey there travellers,

We're on the look out for some one to help us on our land. We have a lot of weeding and gardening to do at the moment.

We ask for 5 hours work a day.

If you want to explore the area it is best to have a car as there is no public transport. However, we will bring you along if we are going to the beach or some where fun.

What we offer:
- your own bedroom.
- 3 meals a day (ie: breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- internet (it is not unlimited where we live)
- A kiwi family experience out in rural NZ.

If this sounds like something you will like, give us a message.

Leigh and Katie

Hello. We have a wonderful 10 acre lifestyle block close to the villages of Waimauku and Kumeu (wine country) in the north west part of Auckland, just 35 mins drive to the city outside of the rush hour and 20 mins drive to the beautiful Muriwai (surf/swim) beach, there are also a few forest walks and cycle ride options nearby.

I can pick up locally if you don`t have your own transport and we can discuss getting out and about during a stay if you`re happy to fit in with whatever plans we can make to help.
My workplace is located southeast of the city so it would also be possible for you to be dropped of and picked up correspondingly, to spend a day sightseeing or on other activities.

I have a cat and we keep a small flock of sheep and some chickens, I'll be adding to the livestock at some stage.
There is a “young” orchard, vegetable garden & general garden needing attention, as well as the wider property (and home if the weather isn't suitable to be outside).
Ideally I am ... more inside

Hi,

Hi we have some quite physical work to do. It is carrying trays out of our strawberry shed. We can also offer some other work so that it does not get boring. Great time of year to be at Charlies.

Charlies is a very busy and popular gelato shop. It is complemented by the surrounding 10 acres, which are planted in grapes, blueberries, oranges, feijoas and strawberries. You will be supplied with great coffee and some of the best gelato you have ever tasted.

We have a lovely recently renovated home with semi self contained accommodation. See pictures attached. It has a small kitchenette with a fridge, jug, toaster etc so you can have some independence. It also has a television and a network plug for internet, as well as WiFi.

We have fabulous vege gardens and eat really well. My husband is a very good cook.

We are looking for general work around the land, possibly some spring cleaning and painting. There is some flexibility with jobs depending on skill sets.
