Hi - We are looking for help right now with building, landscaping jobs, and general weeding, etc. Applicants must be reasonably fit and strong and be able to use power tools and swing a hammer. I have settled on a 4 acre bush block with sea views. I am situated 7mins by car from Whitianga town and 3 mins from the main beach. We have freshwater swimming in the stream nearby and our property is rich with NZ birds and NZ native fauna. We have Kiwi Birds on our property which is very special to us plus many other types of native NZ birds. My son Liam ( 20 yrs) lives in the main house now with his 3 mates and I am living in a cabin up the driveway - I have a comfortable trailer camper with a queen bed for your sleeping and sharing my cabin with sea views for dining and relaxing time. cheers rob

Help out in an eco-village founded in 1975. A small solar powered village with streams and waterfalls near a wonderful beach.

I'm building a Tiny House and looking for help with the painting! There are other houses here who also host helpx-ers/wwooffers so some variety of work, accomodation and food is available.

Accomodation and food provided ( 2x meals and accomodation for 4 hours work/day )

Introducing myself and my lifestyle block to you.

I am living in the most beautiful place.

I have previously had WWOOFA workers on our lifestyle block to help with revegetation of native bush project which is ongoing.

My main work involves weeding gardens and preparing land for planting trees. Plant the trees ( we plan to put in 1000's of Manuka Trees). Some fencing help be great .

Bush walks, magnificent views across the Coromandel Ranges , peaceful and tranquil. Plenty of local attractions. 30 minutes from Karangahake Gorge, 40 minutes to Waihi , 90 minutes to Tauranga.

The first photo shows the view from my land.

I live in Ruamahunga Bay on the beautiful Thames Coast, around 15-20 minutes drive from Thames township. I have a family of 3 cats and one dog. My house is not right on the beach, but is up a quiet little side road and only 1 minute walk down to the beach. There`s a lovely rocky stream at the bottom of the garden.

At the moment I really need some help with weeding and clearing in the garden. Its not hard physical work, maybe a little bit of digging but not much, mostly just weeding.

I am looking for someone to come and stay for a few days, and they could have the little self contained caravan in the bottom of the garden. For this exchange I would like it if the person/people worked 2 hours a day in exchange for the accommodation and breakfasts, teas, coffees. They would need to provide their own lunch and dinner. The caravan has a stove and a fridge, an electric jug, a toaster, pots and pans and plates etc, and a little dining table.

If you wanted to you could do one or ... more inside

HI there
We have recently moved onto a new property in a beautiful bush clad valley in the Coromandel peninsula.

We are developing our property using permaculture principles. We are establishing gardens, planting fruit trees, and have horses, chickens and ducks. We raise seedlings, make compost, plant gardens, dry herbs, preserve food, care for our animals and enjoy nature at our backdoor. We are vegetarian and eat whole unprocessed food.
We have three children who enjoy surfing, skating, horse riding, mountain biking and snow boarding (lucky them eh!) The youngest of these our son is home schooled.

A suitable helper would have an interest in gardening and permaculture and a desire to learn to live in harmony with our natural world.

We provide food and accommodation for three hours work per day. Tasks will largely include caring for fruit trees and helping to establish gardens. Accommodation is in a seperate caravan.

Look forward to hearing from you PLEASE outline y... more inside

Kia Ora,

Welcome!

Are you interested in Buddhism and would like to assist in the daily operation of a retreat centre? Then volunteering with us could provide you with the opportunity to offer service while enriching your practice.

Our Centre is busy, so we have an ongoing need for volunteers throughout the year.

The Centre offers volunteers lodging in our volunteer dorms / rooms with shared showers/toilets.

Simple vegetarian meals will be provided during the retreats. Outside the retreat programmes, you are expected to cook for yourself and we will provide ingredients.

Being a Buddhist Centre this is a drug and alcohol free environment.

We are looking for a minimum commitment of 2 weeks and preferably longer. However, before committing, please consider whether you can live contently in a somewhat isolated rural area for an extended period of time.

We ask our volunteers to work 5.0 hours a day, 5 days a week. The work is varied but includes housekeeping, gar... more inside
