***Availability for Friday 25th Oct - Monday 28th October ***

We have a lovely little house in the small Waikato town of Cambridge. We are a very friendly and welcoming family of 4 and have lots of jobs that need doing around the place.

We have a guest room with queen bed - ideally suited for one person or a couple.

You need to be great with kids, not afraid to do some physical work like painting, gardening, washing windows and general cleaning. We supply food and board in exchange for four hours work each day.

You can walk to Cambridge town centre from our place and catch the bus to other great places if you don't have a car. We are happy to pick you up from the bus stop if you are arriving by coach.

We look forward to meeting you!

Some we have in mind.. mass planting of trees and flowers, painting and building.

Accom is a cute 70s style caravan. We Have a self contained tiny house we want to make homely that will also be up for grabs and would suit a couple. Hot showers, wifi and food if you want.

We live 10mins out of Raglan town, 5 mins from the Bridal veil falls, 15mins to famous surf beach ruapuke.

Our ideal guests would be a couple in a camper van. And people with great initiative, ideas and a can do attitude.

We’re looking for help now.

We need help doing a wide range of tasks from feeding calves (Mid July to November), mowing, cleaning, gardening, cooking and helping look after Olivia. In exchange we will provide meals and your own room, with shared bathroom and shower.

You’ll be able to learn to milk cows and depending on the time of year, feed calves. We live on a 500 cow dairy farm, 5 minutes drive to Te Awamutu, and 40 mins to Waitomo Caves and 50 minutes to Hobbiton.

Having travelled ourselves, Michael and I love meeting like minded travellers, and welcoming them into our home. While staying with us you can enjoy experiencing rural life in NZ. You’ll get to meet Bella and Bertie our resident pet goats. Our free range hens (with their free range laying habits). Boots, our 14 year old cat who loves attention. Phoebe and Charlie, our nearly fully grown kittens (who love cuddles). You can try your hand at beekeeping as we have our own beehives. And last but not least, our... more inside

We are a French (Pauline) New Zealand (Noel) couple happy to share our farming lifestyle.

The cattle and sheep farm overlooks the Aotea Harbour. There is 100 hectares of bush on the property with a river running through the valley. There have nearly 1500 sheep, about 300 cattle, two dogs (Rita and Emma), three cats (Socks, Moon and Arthur), chickens and bees.

In winter there is a log fire going.
Work 4 Hours a day in exchange for food and accommodation.

We eat our own eggs (when our chickens don't hide them from us), honey and some of the meat is from the farm. We also have a vegetable garden.

Better if you have your own car.
There is no public transport.

We have two bedrooms with double beds.
In the garage you will find some bodyboards and wet suits to borough, as well as two sea kayak to explore Aotea Harbour and the Pakoka river.

Available 22/10 - 1/11 and then 13/11 onward.

We would like help with walking the dog (ROZ) lawns that need mowing, weeding around trees, cutting gorse, line timming. We also need help with general housework and our Bush Walking Track project

We've hosted over 40 helpers and think the most suited helpers are people who like dogs and get up in the morning by 7.30. We all have to eat so help with making food, clearing and doing the dishes is a must. We consider meal times to be social time not work time, also an ideal time to chat and learn stuff.

Hi! We are looking for open-minded, laid back couples or single travellers looking to find some peace and quiet in the country. Ideally we'll host you for a week+, though we are flexible.

In exchange for 2-3 hours/day gardening, outdoor maintenance and other handy jobs, we offer a private caravan with deck. You'll have access to a groovy composting loo & hot shower, and will be using the treehouse kitchen.

On the property we are building a tiny house, and we'd also like help with that.

Two dogs live here, both are very friendly.

Experienced builders, makers or tiny house enthusiasts especially welcome.

It is pretty important you have your own transport. The nearest town is Raglan, which is about 30 minutes drive. Although we travel in and out, it's better if you have your own car. Ruapuke is an exposed west coast beach, with lots of space and the occasional perfect wave. Raglan has all necessary amenities, cafes, yoga, shops, pub, surf, & harbour for fishing, kaya... more inside

Hi there!

we are a young couple (early 30's) developing a property, Alise is a designer and Luke works on the property, we get out for a surf and a beer when we get the chance but we have a small farm with a big garden!

Firstly You will need your own transport

At the moment we have a lot of things to do as we are building a house, the accommodation supplied is a self sufficient cozy little shack/caravan built in the garden which is where we have lived for the past 2 years . Its got lots of character and one of the best views in Raglan!! It is an eco friendly setup and runs on solar energy. The water comes from the clouds and there’s hot water as well etc! A cool experience!

The help we need is from gardening, helping with the sheep, planting and maintaining trees, painting fences, building rock walls, cleaning and spraying, lawn mowing, digging etc and some general labour to carpentry depending on your skills!

The arrangement of work hours is 2 hour... more inside

** 1 HOUR WEEDING TO STAY IN YOUR OWN TEENY TINY CABIN**

Hello, we are Chris, Susie and our sons Fergal (2) and Larkin(0). We have a small 2 acre section 5 minutes drive out of Raglan town that is in the process of regenerating as bush with thousands of native trees planted.

Work is WEEDING and FREEING TREES FROM WEEDS.

This is sweaty, physical, muddy and prickly work but for only 1 hour of self-directed work per day it is perfect setup for many people wanting some Raglan time :)

Extra points if you know something above native trees so you can help nurture our little baby trees.

We can offer you accommodation (no food) in your own very basic 2 bed rustic cabin (6sqm) with composting toilet and outside shower in exchange for 1 hour help per day.

If you don't have your own car then we can provide you a bicycle however it is a hilly 20 minute bike ride to town and a very hilly 1 hour bike ride to the surf so please bear this in mind if you want to be surfing every ... more inside
