My German partner and I (a kiwi) would love to share our beautiful 1903 home, (NZ classic architecture of this time), with some willing helpers.

We are a couple in our 40s and enjoy socialising. My son who is 26 is at home for a short time from university. So we are a happy family of 3 adults. Holly travels a lot for work, so wont be guaranteed to be here during your stay.

We try and have a healthy lifestyle, we have free range chicken, raise our own meat, have veggie gardens, fruit trees etc, and soon hope to milk our house cow, who has a new very sweet calf.

We have a lot of animals on our small farm including a pet peacock for entertainment! Sorry but the horses in the photo aren't here anymore.

We expect around four hours work per person, per day you stay as an exchange, plus participation at meal times. We are flexible as to when you to do your work, and try to offer a variety of jobs to suit what you enjoy doing or want to learn about.
Jobs can incl... more inside

We are looking for one or 2 people (couples welcome)we have two rooms one with two single beds and one with a duble bed.
We want someone who wants to be a part of us, set up some furniture, maybe some lawn-mowing and things that may come up, weŽll see on the day :)
We live in an old villa in the beautiful township of Cambridge. We are about 20 min walk from the center 10 min walk from Lake Te Ko Utu and 4 minutes walk from a shop and cafe. You could even borrow our bikes.

We love people who stay for a while and like to share their stories and cultures with us
We could also need help with different things: some garden jobs and some help around the house, etc. We also would like some help to prepare dinner and household chores.
We have 2 young girls: 9,11 and a cat.
We are used to sharing our house now but we also used to live sharing houses overseas.

Hi Host Helper,

We're a Family of 3 on a once a day dairy farm, 180 cows. Even though we're farming the city is 20mins away so still near for entertainment.

We're after 1 helper at 1 time to help (approx 4 hours a day) with light duties around the dairy farm. Duties can be different every week and will vary from cutting firewood, helping with calves, to walking the cows to the milking shed. Each nights dinners will be provided (we do love our meat, home kill) but are open to trying new ideas, breakfast and lunch are just help yourself to what's in our fridge/pantry. Also there is always baking each week on the bench to eat. Your room has a super king bed & storage.

The kind of person we're after would be someone who doesn't mind children, doesn't mind a bit of mud and being around animals. So if you're wanting a New Zealand dairy farm experience we'd love to hear from you.

During the summer months my husband enjoys speedway (stockcars) so if you're interested to experie... more inside

Kia ora
I'm a woman (early 50's) living in Waikino- a rural village just off SH2 in the Karangahake Gorge, between Waihi and Paeroa. I share a 3bdrm house with 1 flatmate who is not home alot.

I have a small section 1000sqm and I grow fruit, veges, herbs, and have a beehive which is tended by a local beekeeper. I would love for you to come and experience a little of kiwi life..

I like to meet people from different countries and cultures...it keeps life interesting and I would love to learn to speak French or Spanish but all nationalities welcome. I love music and want to hear your music and stories. I offer healthy homecooked food and welcome both meat eaters, and vegetarians.

I have 99 % finished building a bamboo / cob studio which you could sleep in. It is warm and dry and seperate from the main house so you have some privacy. However you will need to share the Bathroom which is also in the main house.
Or you could sleep in the main house - cosy bedroom with a dou... more inside

Hi. We live in the countryside south of Auckland, about 50 minutes from the airport. Our property has beautiful trees and gardens on it. There are 2 houses on the property .. our daughter and her 2 young children live in one, and we live in the other. We have 4 hens. And we have a young female dog called Pepper. There is a large old shed which we tidied up and lived in while the 2nd house was being built. That will be your accommodation and you will use our bathroom facilities .. just across the verandah.
We grow many of our own vegetables in our two vegetable gardens.
We would like your help with general chores. And not every day is work, .. you will have days to go and explore. The nearest beach is approx 30 minutes away, and is good for surfing. Central Auckland and Hamilton are each an 1 hour away.
Short stays are welcome if you want to stay here while you organise your NZ adventure. We are happy to help you with this. We can organise your food, including any special requi... more inside

Hi - we are currently looking for someone. We prefer someone who can stay around a month mainly to help out with the horses. Must have some previous experience with horses.

We are a fun (maybe crazy) family (2 boys and a girl - all at school), a heap of horses and ponies, dog, cats, calves, and chooks. Living in rural Waikato but only 1 hour from Auckland, Coromandel and Hamilton. Our life is busy and never boring, always lots happening.

We would love help mainly with the horses and ponies. Caring for them, including feeding, and riding if capable. Also general lifestyle jobs like feeding chooks, collecting eggs or feeding hay to the calves. We would treat you as part of the family but you would have your own living space with a lovely spacious separate building near the house but on its own. We will supply food and accommodation in return for your help.

Looking forward to meeting travelling folks from around the world and hearing about your homeland.

If a couple ... more inside
