4.8 acres, beautiful setting in a valley. We have a big garden. Help required with weeding, chopping firewood, general garden up keep, mowing lawns, and a few things about the house. We're a busy little family of three (we have a crazy toddler), we both work locally. We love the outdoors, and live close to a beautiful swimming hole and mountain biking and walking tracks. We've heaps of knowledge to pass on about the local area and south island of NZ! Happy to pick people up from Havelock if need be!

Accommodation - Private self contained room with double bed (small sofa bed can be provided for 2 singles if needed) and private bathroom, Basic kitchenette and BBQ setup. Welcome in main house too of course. Wifi.

Would be ideal to have people come stay and work half days in return for food and accomodation .

We run a family camp and like to have a low impact on our environment. Mostly organic. We are keen gardeners and are working to get the camp up to a better standard. Beautiful location with a lovely river. We require helpers to help us run the camp. We would offer accomodation in cabins when they’re available. We offer good conditions and will supply food. We will be working so we need someone to keep an eye on the camp and look after our nice dogs, goat and ducks!

Hi there,
We live on a little lifestyle block near Seddon with our nearly one year old son and lots of different animals.
Both being at work during the week, son in daycare, there is only little family time at the end of the day.
And thats were you could come in!
To ease the pressure a bit and enjoy life with our little one, we ld love some helping hands around our little farm.
That could consist of vege / garden work, feeding of the lambs and other animals as needed. Caring for the chooks or just being around to drink a cuppa with. We re constantly renovating somewhere in and around the house.
There is always so much to do!
The ideal helper(s) would be open to a busy family life with other flatmates in the house too and trustworthy. We have 2 of our dogs and the 2 cats sleeping inside with us, so that must be ok :)
We have a double guestroom to offer, unlimited wifi, all the normal things like kitchen usage, laundry and so on.
We aren't vegetarians, but it wouldn't be a pr... more inside

Kia Ora -

I need gardening doing, laying carpet in the garage, cleaning windows, weed killing, general cleaning of the house, water blasting the outside of my house...........and probably a lot more!!

Hi, I live in a beautiful part of the world with spectacular views of the water.

Picon is the gateway to the Marlborough Sounds. Queen Charlotte Track for walking or biking, boat tours, swimming with dolphins, wine tours......so much to do.

At the moment I can offer 1 room in the house. You can have free Wi-Fi if you bring your own laptop.

I am looking for 4 hours work a day in exchange for breakfast - cereal, toast, tea and coffee and dinner. You will have to sort out your own lunch.

Dinner - I will normally cook for you or depending on commitments, or I may leave food for you to cook yourself.

My kitchen is currently under renovation so it's a bit disorganised.

You will be expected to do your own dishes at all times though.

I am open to flexibility... more inside

We are looking for one or two people to help us with a landscaping project around our new house and help out with some odd jobs. We also have a yacht and there may be some work to do on that.... you might get a sail in the Sounds for the hard work! We have a small self contained cottage for private accommodation.
