We are a family with 2 children (12 and 14 years) and live on a small farm on the Otago Peninsula. It is 15 mins drive to the centre of Dunedin, and on a convenient bus route. You can walk down to the local shops, gallery, beach, boat club etc and we have great harbour and rural outlook (while still being close to town).

We have a collection of pets (cats, dog) as well as sheep and alpaca on the property.

We both work as well as managing the activities on the farm and house/garden. We have a beautiful established garden, and would appreciate some help with gardening and other maintenance jobs around the house and property.

Accommodation would be a sleep-out right by the house or possibly a room inside the house. We are looking for some interesting company, and someone willing to help out for 4 hours/day in exchange for accommodation and meals. Our beautiful garden has become pretty overgrown, and we would love to have some help to make it lovely again!!

Looking for help with landscaping, gardening, painting and helping with the house and kids. We can select our projects depending on your skills.

We are a married couple in our fourties with a 6 year old daughter, a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. We farm sheep and beef.

You will have the opportunity to spend time on the farm but our Helpx jobs won't likely include stock work as experience is necessary. We have a pet dog, pigs, hens a horse and a pony. We have 7 farm dogs, lots of sheep and cows. If time permits Duncan will teach you to shear a sheep.

Accommodation is in a 3 bedroom cottage which we also use for Airbnb. We only have 1 Helpx booking at a time so it is likely you will have the cottage to yourselves, however we also have family and hunters to stay from time to time. Breakfast is provided for you to have in the cottage and lunch is with our family in the homestead. Most dinners are provided for you to have in the cottage with some being with Duncan & ... more inside

We have a lovely, sunny, warm, family home overlooking the Harbour on Otago Peninsula. We are only a 12 minute drive to the centre of town but it feels like we live in the countryside. We have a large garden that we would love help in exchange for accommodation and meals. We are open for visits of 3 days - a week (possibly more if the timing is right).

We have a busy family with 3 children (9, 12 & 14) & 2 cats. So you will need to be OK around kids and prepare yourself to be ignored by the cats!

Generally, the work we would like help with is light gardening & cleaning up/maintaining the section. This includes weeding the garden, weed whacking and other work tidying outside. Maybe some light maintenance such as cleaning windows, staining outdoor furniture, varnishing or painting etc. We are happy to fit in with your experience. We don't really need help with child minding or housework.

The spare room has a double bed, so it would suit either a couple or a single pe... more inside

Hello! We live on 2 acres with spectacular mountain views just 5 kilometres from the centre of Wanaka. It truly is paradise here. We are a couple in our 50s. We have dogs, cats and chickens. Once or twice a year we have woofers to stay.

We have really enjoyed getting to know our previous woofers, many of whom we remain in contact with. We offer a friendly sustainable home environment in a beautiful setting.
