Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc. You can travel via car or public transport to reach me. If needed I can pick up from Melbourne and drive you back there. I can also pick up from public transport nearby.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with planting, weeding, pruning, whipper snippering or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the job is important.

I have, in the pas... more inside

We live in Mallacoota, on the south east coast and one of the most beautiful places in Australia. It is a World Biosphere Reserve in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park with the ocean, lakes and beaches at our doorstep. We are 3kms from the centre of town, and 4km from the nearest beach. There are about 7 magnificent beaches within 10kms from us. BUT be warned, Mallacoota is 540kms from Melbourne, 630kms from Sydney and 360kms from Canberra with limited access via public transport so keep that in mind when planning your schedule.

Our family includes Mark, Cate and our three daughters, who are 15, 13 and 10 years old. There are also a dog, a cat, 3 horses, 3 ducks, a rooster and 14 chickens (we sell the eggs locally). Kangaroos visit our property daily and koalas occasionally. Some of the parrots are now so tame at our bird feeder they can be hand fed.

Our 3.5-hectare property needs tidying, cleaning, and minor repairs. Work includes animal care, gardening, and h... more inside

Hi Friends, we are looking for helpers Now. !Here's a bit about our family and farm.......

Shane and I live on a large rural property one hour from Melbourne with our two young children (nine and five). Our property is situated in a beautiful environment, however needs ongoing care to realize it's full potential.

Most of our property is native bush, home to the diverse wildlife here (wallabies, wombats, deer and parrots).

With busy lives we require ongoing help to maintain our property. Such tasks include gardening, mowing, building, fencing and cleaning. We are also currently renovating our house so there are some house projects that require attention.

Our home is quite small so our guests reside in the Outhouse. Guests say they love staying amongst the trees and enjoy having their own private space, set up with running water, electricity, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a double mattress and single bed. There is wifi and TV in your accomodation. Updated photos wi... more inside

About us
Hi, we love having helpers, our names our Stephanie and Dave, we are a married couple with two of three kids at home 14 and 24. We both work, Dave is a plumber and Steph is a teacher. We are what you would call a typical family, sometimes a little dis-functional but otherwise normal. At the moment we are a little busy with work, renovating and the usual home life with our kids. Our son was in a serious car accident in March last year, and this has impacted on our lives, so we haven’t had the time to do the things we’d like to do around our home and we are in need of some extra help. Dave is pretty handy and is pretty knowledgeable in building and renovating. Steph loves to cook, she also loves decorating, gardening and creating artworks (when she has time), and most recently she has been learning a little carpentry. We both love to socialise and happy to welcome you into our home as part of our family. We are very easy going people.

Picturesque small property with trees and pasture. We have a small flock of chickens, cat, dog and garden. We are not registered for organic status but follow the principles. We want to eat healthy food and grow as much as we can. Looking for help to establish and maintain garden and basic property maintenance. Building skills would be great if you have any as we are looking to complete the chicken run. Looking for 25 hours per week in exchange for food and board. We are only interested in helpers who can stay for two full weeks with us.
We are located not far from the Great Ocean Road and only 5 minutes from Warrnambool, a very convenient position. We are both easy going people who enjoy conversation and connecting with others.
We look for win/win situation for both our helpxers and ourselves.
