Currently looking for people who can help in some of these tasks:
a) Garden /orchard/ farm work:
composting, mulching, weeding, mowing, pruning, planting, fixing garden beds, irrigation systems, netting of fruit trees, weed control, tidying up the property, firewood, cooking.
b) Building/renovation work.
Stripping and painting furniture.

Current major project is seeking people who can design an imaginative chicken shed that inspires children, that can be built from January onwards.
Our house is on top of a ridgeline in rolling granite hill country with great views. Our western red cedar home has a wide veranda all the way round; we eat many of our meals outside here absorbing the scenery or occassionally just relax with a book in the hammocks.
There are plenty of kangaroos and much birdlife.
We live in the country side (no shops) on a quiet road; very peaceful. The nearest major towns are Bendigo (25km) or Castlemaine (20km).

Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc. You can travel via car or public transport to reach me. If needed I can pick up from Melbourne and drive you back there. I can also pick up from public transport nearby.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with spreading mulch, planting, weeding or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the jobs is important.

I have, in the past, taken ma... more inside

We're a family located in Korumburra, just over an hour and 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD. We are 20 min to Inverloch beach, 45 min to Phillip Island and 1 hour to Wilsons Prom.
We operate a home based laser engraving business.
We have 2 daughters 10 and 12 and an indoor dog Chester who is 7 years old. We have a quarter acre block of which we are trying to cultivate fruit and vegetables, the dog dug up everything so we need to get fences put up to keep him out. Ideally we are looking for 1 or 2 friends (female) to assist us with gardening in our fruit/vegie patch, and some outdoor yard work, and some light house cleaning, (Someone with graphic design background would be fantastic - we use CorelDRAW for our engraving business, or someone who could help us with some small construction projects. We will provide accommodation and 3 meals a day in exchange for 4 hours work per day. We love hosting visitors and are happy to show you around the region. We look forward to hosting you.
