Fully booked at the moment. Located in Melbourne's Southern eastern suburbs, only 1 hour by train to Melbourne CBD. We have a hobby farm with cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, dogs, and cats. We are best suited to accommodate a couple or 2 friends travelling together and wanting to stay for 1-2 weeks. Helper accommodation is at one end of our home with your own private bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. We would welcome anyone with any handyman skills etc. General duties include caring for the animals, gardening, mowing, weeding, fence repairs, painting, wood splitting and other odd jobs.
We can provide accommodation and all meals in exchange for 20 hours per week, and can also pay $$$ if you wish to work additional hours. helper(s). We are 6km from the local shops and public transport, so it is best if you have your own vehicle.

Welcome to our little farm on the internet. We have been hosting international travelers for eight years and it has been a rewarding experience for all.

We share our passion for ethical and sustainable farming to anyone that has an interest. Our ideal helper is one that loves animals and will use their time here to interact and be involved with their care. Having your own initiative is a real bonus to us.

Seeking friendly open minded person that is happy to help around the home and around the farm. We prefer helpers to stay a minimum of two weeks and those with horse handling experience are very welcome.

Located 90 minutes north of Melbourne close to cafes and other services. Plenty to see and do when time is your own.

Guests stay in the main house, with your own room and shared bathroom. All meals are meat and fish based with vegetables taken from the garden if the previous helpers have done their job ;) There is never a shortage of fresh vegetables and fruits.

We are a family of four, Simon, Josie and our two boys. We are situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley, with views over the mountains. On our farm we grow a wide range of bio-dynamic fruit, nuts and veg including chestnuts, walnuts, nashis and a mixed orchard and vegetable garden. We are in the process of designing and developing the property at the moment.

We are currently building our farm shed (out of recycled materials) so will need help framing and cladding. We are concentrating on cleaning up the property and deer proof fencing our boundary, plus odd jobs around the house, the home garden and orchard.

Accomodation is in our home in a Queen sized bed (please see picture) with reliable wifi. All meals are included. You will be very much part of our family life. We have had Wwwoofers and HelpX guests before, which has been a great experience for everyone involved. Next door is HelpX farm (host number 32061), who are my (Josie) parents. So occasionally help may be needed on ... more inside

A big Hello to you!
I live 350km north of Melbourne in a little place called Mt. Beauty and I need some HELP in the garden! I live alone and also run a Airbnb from my house. Spring has arrived and everything is growing so fast that I can't keep up, so there is everything from weeding, pruning, mulching and some general house maintenance to do.
Mt. Beauty is a beautiful country town situated at the bottom of the mountains and ski resort of Falls Creek. Take a look at our website https://www.visitmountbeauty.com.au/ for information about the immediate area, or look at https://www.victoriashighcountry.com.au for a more broad information around the area. So if you appreciate Australian nature then you will love it here. There is plenty of native birds, Kangaroos and wombats, and lots of outdoor activities to do including hiking, walking, fishing, bike riding and horse riding. You can get here by train if you do not have a car. The service runs from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne on... more inside

hello, I have a a small permaculture property in Koonwarra, near Inverloch, South Gippsland. I live in a bush environment near the coast. The wild life and bird life are superb. I have vegie gardens, about fifty fruit trees, a hot house, all needing some help. I also need carpentry help to renovate a food storage shed, wood splitting and house maintenance. Until recently, I was highly involved with farmers' markets as a stall holder, using as much of my own produce as possible, so my place became a little neglected. I follow organic principles. My owner built house is tiny but gorgeous. Your accommodation would be in a separate, very private and equally lovely bungalow with delightful views. The bathroom is shared but the access is easy and private. There is NBN internet access. Your own car would be invaluable but not essential. I would prefer older helpers. Excellent food is imperative to me. l love vegetarian cooking, and am able to accommodate any dietary requirements. In return... more inside
