We are looking to host 1 female helper now for 1-2 weeks.

Homestay experience. Would suit a girl who can clean, fold laundry, cook, tidy and wants to live with an Australia family. Kids are 7 and 4 and are really well behaved kids. No behaviour problems or disabilities. Work is 4 hours per day in exchange for accommodation and meals.

Our ideal person is a fun, kind, happy and trustworthy girl who can help mum with housework and cooking. Must like children and be good at doing housework. Mum also enjoys learning about Japanese and Chinese language and recipes.

Work involves: washing dishes, laundry, changing bed sheets, cleaning floors, cooking, tidying toys, weeding gardens, playing games with children. Work will often be alone but you will have plenty of free time to spend with us. You will not need to be carer of the children - more like a big sister/Aunty.

We are a young family. Kids (7 and 4) are at school or home with mum. We love spending afternoons in the ga... more inside

*Update - February-March 2020*

We have need some help getting the chaos under control. The drought has broken and the gardens are overgrown (such a relief after a long dry season)

We have also just renovated the kitchen and there is a lot that needs organising and sorting.

Work is general garden maintenance and household duties support.

Available immediately. :)

Come to Lofty Meadows, and help recover our organic gardens and return them to their former glory.
Have current availability, right now, so get in touch to organise your stay.

Accomodation is in a detached private cottage up the hill behind our house, surrounded by trees and nature. Affectionately known as the "princess palace", it was the bedroom of out teenage daughters before they left home. There is a mattress and bedding and a small deck.

All of our helpers eat and socialise together with us as a family but you have your own room to retreat to for peace and quiet-just note that as it is a small... more inside

We have a 40 acre property located in the Whyanbeel Valley and adjoining the Daintree National Park and we are 25 minutes from Port Douglas. We have mixed crops, hay, cut flowers, rare plants, ducks, geese, peacocks and chooks. I am really interested in organic growing, permaculture, sustainable farming and agroforestry and apply these principals to the farm. We also grow a lot of our own fruits and veg. Our place is very pretty, lots of gardens, waterfalls, rainforest and freshwater swimming spots. Wildlife is abundant. No mobile phone service but we have wifi.

The work is mostly labour based and includes tree planting, weeding mulching, cleaning (outdoors), pruning. You need to be fit and strong and defiantly not afraid of getting your hands dirty or working in the outdoors.

I provide clean air-conditioned accomodation, all meals, alcohol in moderation. I expect 4 hours a day in return

Good English only please and experience is preferred but not essential

This is a funky eclectic beach property on a quiet street 5 min walk to an uncrowded beautiful surf beach with many walking tracks through the dunes nearby. Just 8km south of Noosa, one of Australia's most iconic tourist destinations. Peregian Beach village is only 3km south with great restaurants, boutique shopping, IGA and patrolled beach. Brisbane is an hour and a half drive away.
There is a saltwater pool, a large deck and some beach gear at your disposal.
This urban block has been set up as an organic edible garden with native and European honey bees. It just needs a bit of love to bring it back to its former glory.
The downstairs of the house is a separate space that has been converted into an AirBnB which attracts lovely guests, often families.
I would like to offer accommodation for up to a week (longer stays to be negotiated) and possibly food (to be negotiated) in exchange for 2 - 3 hours work per day helping with AirBnB change-overs (1 or 2 times per week), general... more inside

I am looking for someone to help me with riding horses, mustering on horseback, spraying weeds, offsiding, driving 4wd vehicles between properties. I also need help with fencing. Some fences need to be strained and some repaired. I reside on a large forestry block that runs beef cattle. There is a small cottage on this block which is used for accommodation. Local shops are 40kms away by vehicle. I am able to provide transport to and from the local shops. I would also like help with some domestic duties and cooking.Smoking is permitted. No children or pets allowed. I am predominately a meat eater but vegetarian meals can be provided by yourself. Auburn falls (national park) is a place of local interest to backpackers, which is 25kms away. The closest township has a population of about 2000 people. There is an op shop, banks, chemist, grocery shop, library and a post office situated in this township.
