Join us in July!

We are a small family, Andrew, Karen and 6 year old George. We live in Dalyellup, right near the beach!! Andrew works in mining and spends half of his time in Greenbushes WA, whilst Karen is studying massage and George attends school in Year 1.

We love going to the beach, markets, cooking and working in our garden. Where we live is just beautiful with lots of grassy parks, shady trees and endless white beaches. There are lots of fun things to do nearby including visiting Gnomesville, art & sculptures, dolphin centre, wildlife park (feed kangaroos & emus) and scenic drives.

We love meeting new people and George gets very excited if someone reads stories or builds lego with him.

If you're interested in staying with us please contact us. At the moment we would really love someone to commit to coming early July for 2-3 weeks as Karen will be recovering from surgery and George will be on holidays. This would be similar to an au pair role with a small amou... more inside

** Full until 12 JUNE 2019, then we are looking for childcare help; playing with our fun 2 year old! **

G'day & welcome to our Regenerative farm, an easy 15 minute drive from Margaret River town.

Our happy family includes 3 kids (13, 10 and 2), a mellow dog, a noisy sheep and pet poultry. We lead a busy but simple life along permaculture principles and enjoy the serenity of our stunning sunsets and evening frog chorus. We have lots of wildlife, great star-gazing and a dam for swimming.

Our life/work/home/farm is all the same thing to us & our aim is to revive healthy connections between country, animals and community. Hi there, I’m Craig. I have a guesthouse on the south west coast of WA at Windy Harbour that I am trying to complete for full use. I own and operate the post office in Northcliffe and travel between there and windy Harbour atm. I have two daughters aged 15 & 13 and they stay with me on some weekends and school holidays. Windy Harbour is an off grid, holiday and fishing village on the rugged south coast of Western Australia in an A class reserve. It is a great base for exploring local beaches, forests, hiking, camping, surfing and the like. Currently I require some help with general home maintenance and garden help. Building, Carpentry, cleaning, cooking, repairs, irrigation, turf maintenance, farm hand, tractor and machinery experience are all useful skills ( and keywords apparently). Shorter stays welcome but I will prioritise those that can commit to a week or so. Potential for longer depending on suitability.
I have a few friends in the Northcliffe area that also use Helpx he... more inside

FREMANTLE AREA HOMESTAY!

Come and stay in our big old sharehouse close to Fremantle and the beach! A lovely big house filled with very chill fun humans who love gardening, tea, chats, and good times. Close to public transport/buses. Also featuring the greatest dog on earth.

Looking for someone to help around the house and occasional help minding my two kids :-) Come and stay in a beautiful yurt nestled in our garden. Free wifi, easygoing household...message for any more details!

What to expect: The majority of the tasks needing to be done are basic things like dishes, laundry, etc, with occasional help doing random jobs here and there. The main other task would generally be babysitting my 10 and 12 year old! We generally find the easiest set up is that helpx provide their own food, and we exchange 2 hours per day work for accommodation. Although I like cooking and am happy for helpx to join in the (vegetarian) evening meal :-) I will usually try and provide a list so it i... more inside

***The project is now delayed until September 2019

Hi! I'm preparing to set up a boutique Vintage Themed dog daycare in a huge building that used to be a scout hall. The business will not be open when you are volunteering with us, but some of the tasks will be preparing the building for the future. *The Dog daycare will not be operating during the volunteering period*. However the business downstairs has a most beautiful cavalier king charles spaniel to play with! We'll start working on it in *** September***, and will be doing setup till October. We’re currently getting permits and electricity connected.

I'm looking ideally for mature-minded volunteers who are happy to do jobs at their own pace and direct themselves. Hopefully you’re hands on with a can-do attitude. Extra points if you’re confident using a ladder. I'm more than happy to teach you anything that interests you (if I know how to:-)), and perhaps you can teach me too! Ideally two friends or a couple. I will not ... more inside
