Sorry to the couple who were interested but you have not re-contacted me and I really need to have helpers committed form NOW until the end of May time frame asap, as it is very difficult to get help closer to the date required.
PLEASE READ OUR FULL PROFILE and the reviews: Help is required from 21/02/20 to the end of May 2020. Please note that I do not provide WIFI but it is accessible at the local Library, as well, Telstra phones work best in the country. Our Pearling Base, on the shores of Beagle Bay, is 135kms north of Broome (approx 2.5hrs on unsealed road in 4wd vehicle) on the Dampier Peninsula. Our dry season (April to October) is also ‘tourist season'.

In exchange for (on average) around 5 hours work per day (often you will work independently), you will be provided with a rare and remote place to stay for a while, healthy food - mostly freshly caught fish (catching the fish & cooking the fish are shared experiences), single or double room and shared bathroom facilities, & possibly sightseeing, fishing and freediving opportunities by boat, or onshore, & in addition, you can use our fishing rods and try your luck from the rock ledge or the beach.

Helpers are usually accommodated in one of five private rooms on the mezzanine level of our very large workshop (where boats are stored and maintained). Each room has a window looking out to the bay, and the entry door opens on to an internal walkway inside the workshop. The five ... more inside

*** Unavailable until 2nd April 2020 ***

We are a small family - two parents and a 4 year old boy. We also have a couple of very friendly cats. Our place is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Fremantle, 10 minutes walk to the beach and close to all amenities. Fremantle is a great transportation hub and has an amazing live music, cafe and arts scene. Our house is 110 years old with high ceilings and a chilled out vibe in a friendly street close to Wray Ave. We've just finished renovating the interior and are about to start work on the garden.

Simon is an artist, Suzi is a writer and Finn is a raconteur and explorer. We are also enthusiastic vergeside collectors who try to salvage things from other people's rubbish before it reaches landfill and to rehome it. Our home is calm and gentle and we are open minded and down to earth. We minimize single-use plastics, use solar electricity, compost and recycle what we can, use our grey-water in the garden and eat a whole food diet. We ar... more inside

The exchange of help would entail helping me do a huge clean up of the house, spiderwebs, cleaning windows, cleaning out cupboards, polishing wood and furniture. Cleaning up outside. And gardening!!! Colecting cow manure and seaweed and preparing autumn gardens. Have lovely neighbours who can be a possibility to move on to from here.

*** Available for Helpers***

A 20 acre farmlet in the Perth Hills, less than an hour from the centre of the city (approx 55km), surrounded by forest/recreation reserve land, opposite bridle/cycle/walk trails. It is a very scenic part of Perth hills.

The property is a recreational "hobby" farm, not a commercial one - Breeding ponies/horses.

Aside from the horses there are some very friendly dogs, chickens, alpacas, geese and more in the family.

There is a permanent creek and natural wetlands on the property, with plenty of wild birds and the odd kangaroo.

There is a bus stop at the front of the property, so public transport anywhere within Perth is not too difficult.

The house is very comfortable and guests would have their own bedroom, bathroom, toilet, free wifi, pool/games room, etc. There are two guest rooms which can accommodate couples or singles.

The work involved could vary depending on the skills of the guest - anything from helping with the horses, ... more inside

I am Chinese and my husband is Australian. We would like some help with the gardening, cleaning and organising our large house.

We are looking for general home & gardening help in exchange for accomodation,(large bedrooms with Queen beds) and share the cooking of meals to be arranged. We would like up to 2 months, but to start with a week to week arrangement to make sure both are happy. Back packers of any nationality are welcome to share their culture and back ground with us.

We are looking for helpers to cook, clean, general gardening, tidying and reorganising the house, garage and carport. Both my husband & I lead busy lives, so the house can be a little unorganised and need a good clean & tidy up with your help.

4 hours a day for 5 days. The days are flexible.

We welcome all nationalities as long as they are respectful of us, our home and are motivated.

We live in the hills of Perth on a 4,000m2 property and grow our own organic vegetable, chemical free chickens... more inside

I run a small "Home-away-from-Home" accommodation business in Broome, and during the first few months of this year I'm offering the right couple or person, short term accommodation in return for some handy work around the property, to get the place ready for this year's bookings. You will need your own transport and to purchase your own food. A great chance to immerse yourself in our beautiful Broome and stay with a long term resident who is passionate about Broome. I have an attractive place to offer in return for skills in house interior painting, carpentry, fencing, gardening, house cleaning, housekeeping, yard work, and general hand. For the right person there may be ongoing work throughout the season welcoming guests, maintaining yard and housekeeping and possible additional work with my creative small business. If you have an excellent work ethic, use your initiative and common sense, then there's work to be done and I'd love to further chat.
