Welcome to our family!

Are you young female non smoker and available to help from early September?

Do you want to learn English with myself and my friendly kids (I will have time to help you as I work from home)? I am keen for my kids to meet people from all over the world and to hear about your culture, travels and interests as it is very enriching for everyone.

We are a friendly family who live in Amersham, Buckinghamshire an historic, upmarket and safe small town 35 minutes by train or metro to central London. It is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many coffee shops, pubs etc as well as a swimming pool, library etc. We have a large house with a large garden overlooking woods. You will have use of a bike and internet use if you want it.

I work from home as an osteopath (physiotherapist) and my husband works in advertising. We are a multi cultural couple and enjoy travelling, cooking world food, music, playing the piano, yoga and sports... more inside

I have a comfortable room available for a couple or a single person.
You will be expected to help in the house as needed. work five days a week but can be flexible about timing and days off, roughly five hours a day.
probably what works best is starting early and then having the afternoon and evening off to explore!

I have a spacious terraced house with garden, and my home is in a lovely area of London near a park, cinema, cafe pubs and shops and only 2 minutes from an Underground station (zone 3) so is great for getting around.

Please let me know about yourself, your skills, and past experience.Let me know your situation, how many days (probably up to 2 weeks) you would like to stay, etc.

We're a multi-generational household looking for someone helpful and relaxed to come and stay for a week or two. There's lots to get involved with including various garden projects, hanging out with a 9 month old, helping with some housework and potentially sharing permaculture-inspired design ideas for our beautiful but underused space.

In return for an average of 5 hours work a day (we can be flexible with how this is spread through the week) we can offer you your own room, meals together in the evening and all your food while you're in the house in a peaceful rural location with frequent trains to London half an hour's walk away (always happy to give you a lift into town if we're around).

Our house is friendly and warm and a bit of a mess and there are often people popping in and there's a barbecue and a firepit and we'll drink together and we eat meat and we have a mad cat - if all this sounds like your cup of tea get in touch :-) We have been 'helpers' ourselves during... more inside
