We are a couple in our late fifties and live in the heart of the countryside close to the coast of Co Down and numerous unspoilt beaches. Castleward - home to several scenes from Game of Thrones and Killard Nature Reserve are close by. We have views of the Mourne Mountains which are easily accessible by car. The small, picturesque villages of Strangford, Killough and Ardglass are close to hand. Portaferry is also accessible by taking the ferry accross Strangford Lough. We enjoy being outdoors and I walk my rescue dogs on the beach every morning. My husband enjoys fishing. We would consider ourselves easy going. Our family have left home, our son and his family live in England and our daughter and her family live a mile up the road from us.
We are looking help for 5 or 6 hours a day 5 days a week. The work would include general gardening (grass cutting, strimming and hedgecutting), repairs to and re-stoning our lane, helping build a patio area and moving soil, fencing and clearing a... more inside

We need a helper for exercising our two horses and helping to milk our cows.
Thanks for looking at our profile. We are a farming family living 19 miles from Cork city and 9 miles from Macroom in a beautiful rural setting, with lots of forest trails and hills to explore.--
We have three children, one working, one in college and the youngest is in secondary school.
We live on a dairy farm , milking 90 cows .

We don't need a slave , just someone who is willing to lend a hand and is in good spirits.
We are a friendly and chatty family, interested in meeting up with people from other countries and learning about their cultures.

This is an 18th century listed Georgian residence, set in tranquil parkland located on the Tipperary/Kilkenny border in the beautiful South East of Ireland.

We run a dairy farm of Friesian/Jersey cows in a spring calving, grass-based system where our cows live outdoors for most of the year. As well as cows and calves we have dogs, cats, a horse and a peacock. There is a lodge that is a gate lodge to here, which we run as a 4 star self-catering holiday home. We are only 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and only 10 minutes from the nearest town where you can get the bus to Dublin or Cork which make exciting day trips. The ancient medieval city of Kilkenny is today a thriving, modern capital that has protected its precious heritage whilst evolving as one of Ireland’s most vibrant and enjoyable cities. Its narrow slipways, side streets and preserved buildings, are matched only by its reputation for fine dining, great shopping, and entertainment.

We are a family of five with two ... more inside

Hi. We are located in the “garden of Ireland” in beautiful County Wicklow beside Carrig Mountain and its extensive forests. Our property of approx 50 acres is truly unique, a real one-off gem with beautiful woodland, parkland, ponds and access to the mountain from the valley. There are lots of walkways through the property, with plenty of wildlife, such as deer, foxes, badgers, pheasants and wild duck. The entire property is a Nature Reserve.

You will have your own lovely self-contained property on site with central heating, shower and modern kitchen. We are looking for people to assist with the day to day improvements, maintenance and repairs on the Reserve for 5 days a week for approx 6 hours per day. Accommodation provided, together with food, which you will cook for yourself. Unfortunately there is no WIFI. It is a really special place and offers a tranquil, peaceful and delightful environment for the right person. The nearest village, Ashford, is 3km away and WIFI i... more inside

We live in County Clare in the West of Ireland, one mile from the village of Kilfenora. We are situated on the edge of the unique Burren area, known for its limestone landscape, flora and fauna, culture and music. We have a small herd of cows and calves, and some forestry. The farm itself does not involve much work, but since we both have off farm occupations, we don't have enough time for basic tidying and maintenance so we are looking for help in the area of de cluttering a couple of sheds, cutting grass, generally tidying up the place. Some house painting inside/outside would also be appreciated. Handyman/woman skills would be a great bonus. We can offer accommodation in a comfortable 2 bedroom mobile home, 2 double beds, shower, WC, fridge, heating, good cooking facilities etc . Food/groceries supplied..Minimum one week. We are 20 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher, surf and swimming in Lahinch and the musical mecca of Doolin. N.B. Mid April to end of September ONLY.
