We (owner Nicolette and chef Anne) are looking for 3 persons who can help us with preparing meals for the guests in our restaurant in 5 shifts of 5 hours per day (Wednesday to Sunday) between 11.30 and 22.00u in the period may until september 2016. Your working hours will be the same everyday: either from 11.30 - 16.30u, 15.00 - 20.00 or 17.30-22.30u. On mondays and tuesdays the restaurant is closed, so those are the weekly days-off. We need each kitchen-helper to stay for minimum 4 and maximum 5 months as we will have to invest some time in learning them specific cooking skills. Besides cooking-assistents we are also looking for people who want to help cleaning and washing dishes. For them the minimum period to stay is 4 weeks although we prefer longer stays. We need them for either the 11.30 - 16.30 shift or the 17.30 - 22.30u shift. Like cooking-assistents cleaning-assistents will do the same shift each day. We can offer each helper (or helper-couple) a private bedroom and priva... more inside

We are a couple, with a summer-house in de city of Groningen. This summer we want to build a new veranda and bath-room. The bathroom will use rain-water and the grey-water should be treated with a reedbed, and will be off-grid. We experiment with a off-grid lifestyle. We have build a rocket-stove massheather, solar dryer, rainwater harvesting, composting toilet and plenty more. Fedde was a own company for compost toilets, see his website link above for more info....
We have also a big garden, where hands are welcome.
I have a pony,(at an other place) I will give you lessons, if you want. If you have experience you can make a ride.
You can stay in a comfortable big tent, and you can eat with us. Working ours in concert
You can use a bike, to enjoy the city.
We hope to see you!

For five years now me and my dog Loes are living on this property that we've squatted in such a way that the owner now likes us to be here.
Its a former sanitorium complex which has burned down almost completely except for the directors villa wich we (with help of many)
are turning over into an sustainable self-sufficient guesthouse.
Practising permaculture, we aim to be sustainable by running the property off renewable energy sources, harvesting rain water for use with utilities and establishing an organic garden and art space.Al help is welcome, there's so much to do so you can do what you think would be beneficial or whatever you feel you can add. or whatever you wish to learn from my obtained skills thruout the years. Main goal is for all of us to enjoy ourselves and each other.
Take care and enjoy !
JJ.

In the summer of 2014, we opened an eco-cafe on a polluted shipwarf in Amsterdam-Noord. The project is part of a larger cleantech playground 'de Ceuvel'. Discarted houseboats are put on land, made self-sufficient and used as offices for a diversity of creative entrepreneurs. The cafe is upcycled and a creative podium for eco-food, music & art. We are looking for volunteers for projects to close the loops, recycling, gardening on the living terrace & floating gardens, workshops. Check out our facebook page link above. We welcome you to get involved and start your own projects too!

We do not have accomodation at this point, we hope in the near future we do!

Country horse farm looking for help with the horses, the (permaculture) garden, jobs around the house.

Experience the special atmosphere. Help start to build up this special place from the start.

The horses are trained with Natural Horsemanship. Plenty of opportunity to learn about this way of training horses.

Small farm with Icelandic horses (about 10 horses), and a "B&B to be". It's a real small and quiet farm, but there are always things to do for some handy persons who would like to give me a hand for a while!
