"Namaste"!
I run a Yoga Ashram and Ayurvedic Wellness Centre at home. Very spacious and comfortable residence. Accomodation and nourishing meals will be provided in exchange for help in the Home and Garden at least 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. Handyman/woman, couple with carpentry, gardening, painting housekeeping experiences welcome.
Property adjoining Golf course and Winery. Serene and peaceful. Plenty of shopping options available nearby.
30 minutes from Melbourne city and 15 minutes from Tullamarine Airport.
Given that this is a yoga and spiritual environment, do ideally prefer non-smoking, non-alcohol consuming helpers. Helpers are welcome to participate in Yoga sessions.

We live in a rural setting situated approx. 15 km from Bendigo in Central Victoria in Emu Creek. We are approx. 1.5hrs from Melbourne. Our house is not seen by the main road it is very quiet and you can see the stars at night. We have great views of the country-side and our closest neighbour, 200yds away.

Our main production on the site is milking goats and we produce Cheese and soap from the milk. There is always plenty of work maintaining and feeding of goats, we also have miniature goats and boer goats. To apply here you must be able to work with animals. We also have a vegetable garden which requires some work. We are currently landscaping our front garden area with a lot of stone work currently in progress, so if you have skills in this area it would be great. We would like to be informed if special dietary requirements are needed. Non Smokers please. ... more inside

Our farm is in a hidden valley surrounded by National parks. We use organic and permaculture principles and need help to produce food. Milk and cheese from our herd of dairy goats, vegetables and fruit from our gardens and eggs from free range chooks. We try to work along side of the abundant wildlife.

Guests stay in a self contained cabin but have meals with us in our underground house. Our original house was destroyed in the 2009 bush fires and our architect son designed us a very energy efficient building that could cope with disasters. We eat mostly the food we grow and can cater for vegans and vegetarians.

Help is required to care for the animals and land typically from 9am-1pm and in the evening feeding time. Work may involve preparation for educational workshops and events.

Minimum stay one week, though longer stays can be negotiated. We take trips to local interest points such as the waterfalls and wineries and are happy to share our extensive experience of livi... more inside

WE are a retired couple, easy going, love travel, sport, gardening and nature. We have a large modern house on an 8 Ha property and 2 hectares of garden needing maintenance. The house is set within an old volcanic quarry which provides a unique setting for the garden. The house is a great example of sustainability. We also own a 16 hectare wetland set aside for environmental work.
Help is required for gardening and re-vegetation work at the wetlands. Jobs will depend on the time of year and include using the brush cutter, weeding, planting trees, watering young trees, pruning and domestic jobs like stacking wood. If you don't want outside work, we can always use domestic help. We usually work about 4-6 hours work for 5 days a week.
We offer a separate comfortable living area, separate bedroom, bathroom, wifi and all meals with us. Since we are retired restaurant owners, you will eat well!
We offer our helpers a holiday experience by showing them tourist attractions, eating at ... more inside

Myself and my neighbor have decided to set up her beautiful property that her late husband and herself built. Mainly a nubian and minituare goat farm we also have cows chooks sheep and horses on the property.
Need to bring the magnificent house and property back to life so that families may come and enjoy the peace and serenity.
House needs to be decluttered. Yards need to be mowed and tidying up of garden. Fences need to be repaired and built.
This project of setting up the farm has only just started so looking at 2 people that are happy to work 25 hrs a week per person and the rest of the week is your own free time.
You would have your own room with ensuite.
Would suit 2 couples
Looking at maybe 1 week and if a good relationship is established can be longer helping me and my neighbor to establish and finish what her and her late husband had dreams of doing.

Summer time in Melbourne :) A lot is happening on the farm!

I am a young farmer called Paul in my 30s that is currently operating a market garden on 16 acres in the Keilor valley, just 22km from the Melbourne CBD! I grow seasonal vegetables organically, and I supply them to various restaurants and retailers in Melbourne, as well as holding stalls at farmers' markets on the weekend. I've been farming here for almost 3 years now, and am implementing and experimenting with various methods of farming.

The beautiful Maribyrnong River runs along the border of the property, and there are many cockatoos here too! There are a few farmhands that work on various days throughout the week, so there is always someone to learn from and have a cuppa with. We rise early in the morning and eat a hearty farm lunch together. As you can imagine, there is a plethora of beautiful organically grown vegetables to eat for our meals! People have enjoyed cooking with really fresh produce and notice real ... more inside

I'm searching for help with some painting and prep work and some general garden maintenance - there's a paling fence around the deck, a few window frames and some of the external weatherboards need a bit of TLC (nothing too awful but a little bit of ladder climbing involved)... I know it's not rocket science but experience and attention to detail is a must ... come and enjoy the experience of the goldfields of Victoria and only just over 1 hour to Melbourne... I am offering board, a light breakfast and an evening meal in exchange for 15 hours per person per week, leaving plenty of free time to explore this beautiful part of the world... happy, friendly, travelling dog lovers essential and prefer clean living fun loving vegetarians... meat eaters may apply but at this point I don't have a bbq and I prefer not to cook meat inside the house
