We are located halfway between Hobart & Port Arthur on the Arthur Hwy. In a secluded bushland setting. Transport is close at hand with good public bus timetables. For many years we lived a self sufficiency lifestyle. We believe in a chemical free balanced mixed family farm. To support our lifestyle we conducted overnight horse riding safaris which consisted of 3days of spectacular scenery along the old convict track to Marion Bay, & north along the east coast on the old "Prosser Map" trail. Trekking & school riding holidays were a major part of our life but now we have beautiful paint standardbreds, one has even raced! 'tho now she has a lovely yearling in tow. Accommodation consists of a retired DMR van, if you are artistic you can submit a design & if approved transform it into a Gypsy Waggon! As the van has its own wood heater, (no electricity) meals are provided, the work hours are 4 hours a day, minimum stay is 3 days. No Housework!, No Childminding! but we really would love a h... more inside
