G'day! Our home is in a suburb of Hobart, the capital city and cultural centre of the beautiful island state of Tasmania. From December to February it's Summer and daytime temperatures are usually around 20 - 30 degrees centigrade.

We prefer short stays of just two or three days, depending on current circumstances. You might like to spend a couple of days with us between your longer stays elsewhere in Tasmania, to give you a chance to access the Hobart city area while still being in a quiet, bushy environment.

Situated near the mouth of the Derwent River, Hobart has a pleasant port area and attractive beaches. Anyone who likes the sea can enjoy recreation time around the coast, including local or extended sightseeing trips by boat. If you stay with us on Friday night you'll be able to visit the city's famous Salamanca Market on Saturday morning.

Our property is a large sloping suburban block with a house, an informal garden of Tasmanian native plants and a vegie p... more inside

We have a beautiful farm in the North-West of Tasmania. Close proximity to Cradle Mountain and the North-West Coast - great location to use as a travelling base! We are predominantly a dairy farm but we have some crops as well. We have a need for someone to assist with milking, calving and general farm duties. We are looking for someone to help us from about 7 January 2012. Accommodation provided.

We have recently moved into our house and the yard needs a bit of work. We would like to host people using this service and in exchange they can tidy up the yard for us. We can cater for vegetarians and are on a main bus route close to a beach.

I am looking to find someone who could help at home with some cooking, cleaning and babysitting duties. I have a 2 and half yr old girl Lily and 8month old boy thomas. Terrific kids but lots of work at this age and as we have recently moved interstate there are no family or friends around to lend a hand. My husband has just started a new business is working long hours also. We are a fairly laid back and easy going family who enjoy a laugh.

This is a life style property that is in a rudimentary stage. Horses, dogs and a goat keep my handsfull while working full time. I am looking for people who want to help share a dream of simplicity, help build shelters for the animals and help build a sustainable system to live within. Personally interested in horse drawn working machinery, gypsy wagons etc. There could be an opportunity to go horse riding on horses that reside close to the property. My horses are both retired. There is ample opportunity for bush walking and cafes are in close proximity to the property. A car or bike will be required by those chosing to stay.
