We are looking for a couple to help around the property. Some help with preparing for visitors in the gites plus outside work - gardening, mowing, strimming and other light maintenance work.
My husband is from New Zealand and myself from UK. There is a self contained flat on the property available for you to live in. We are in a beautiful area of the Loire Valley and just 1 hour from Tours with a local bus - lots to do and see! We have gites, dogs and a couple of horses. You don't need to help more than 4 hours per day and hours are flexible ! You should be positive, self motivated and active people!
We have been living in France for over ten years and speak fluent French. There is an opportunity to take French lessons with a local French person.

English couple, living in beautiful, rural France for over 17 years, looking for help with gardening (large, vegetable garden), cutting and clearing of old trees, help with building work and general maintenance of our 50 acre property.

We live in a lovely, restored farmhouse surrounded by approximately 50 acres of fields and woods, a stream and a little lake. We have a large second home on our property, also lovingly restored, which is rented out, fully, during the high season, to guests. There is a stunning, large swimming pool for the guests and our use.

We try to keep the land and gardens looking as beautiful as possible for us and our guests but the upkeep can become extremely time-consuming for just 2 people. We would really like some help with the gardening and outside maintenance in return for being able to spend time in this truly stunning part of South West France.

We are looking for up to 2 people (ideally a couple) to stay with us for a minimum of 6 nights. We ... more inside

We are a lively English/ German family looking for somebody to help us with our guesthouse and animals in the beautiful Midi-Pyrenees area of South-West France. We are looking for helpers from end of March onwards and through the whole of spring and summer. We experienced that helpers stay between 2 - 4 weeks, as most of them are travelling around. But it could also be longer.

We are Kenneth (58), Kathrin (50), Kieran (18 years ), Kristine (16 years ), a German/ English family running a guesthouse in South-West France, 70 km north-west of Toulouse. We are using all three languages in our family, Kenneth speaks English to the children, whereas Kathrin generally speaks German to Kieran and Kristine. Both children also speak French at school or with their friends, so we really are all trilingual. Most of our guests are also French, so basic language skills are useful.
Kenneth is a Jazz musician and works away on cruise ships a lot and this is why we are looking for somebody to he... more inside

The next shared building site will be from July 22 to August 3rd to finish an octogonal wooden structure and cover of the dome (wood, insulation, bottles, torchis, straw...).

The first shared working site (wood, clay, earth...) took place from September 3rd-11th, 2018 with 5 helpers. The second shared eco-building site (chantier participatif) took place in June and July 2018 also with 5 helpers.

Yves and I are working towards a place which will welcome people who love and respect nature, who are non smokers and who are passionate about this kind of place and shared work. We preferably would like to have helpers who are experienced but at least very motivated and ready to sincerely help out. We need to build light accommodation, take care of the garden, the water system, renovation of the existing and building of new ecological structures.

In spring and summer we offer accommodation in tents, a caravan and a little chalet and organic vegetarian meals.

Hello,

We are Jonathan and Josefa. We look after a 250 year old farm house in SW France. We are looking for 1 or 2 helpers during July 2019 to help us with:
- Painting
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Gardening
- Design of rooms and garden

This offers an opportunity to apply existing skills as well as to learn new skills.

There is no better way to learn or improve your French and understand the culture than to be spending time with the locals. There are many evening events in the local village which will give you the opportunity to do this and are always great fun.

We can offer food and accommodation in return. The house is situated about 40mins from Bordeaux and is in the heart of wine country for those who enjoy wine.

If you are interested please do get in touch.

Hi, we are Tim & Margreeth an Anglo/Dutch couple now living in France. We own a chateau that we run as a BnB with gites and group accommodation. We live in a small village in a beautiful rural area, near some lovely seaside villages and old woods. We need help with cleaning, looking after guests, cooking, gardening and sometimes decorating. You'll be helping us for 4 or 5 hours a day for 5 days a week. So you'll have two days off every week to explore the area, we have some bikes that you can use. Or you can just stay and relax in our own park or swimming pool. You'll be staying in a room in the chateau. Some days we'll cook and eat together in the evenings other days you can cook your own meals. Vegetarian is not a problem. It's also very important that you like children since we have an eleven-year old son. We are looking for friendly, hardworking, non-smoking helpers without pets.
