Hi, we are located in the upper freestone valley with freestone creek on one side and willy's gully running through the middle of the farm. The farm is mixed grain and cattle, we grow crops including corn, sorghum, forage sorghum, oats, wheat, barley, chickpeas and mungbeans. There are 45 head of cattle, 1 horse, 2 dogs, a few chickens and a range of native animals. While Jess works and stays in Brisbane 4 night's a week, I work the farm. I also have 3 children going to school that are 11, 13, and 15 years old. They are reasonably self sufficient and help me when I ask that them, but some help with day to day chores would be much appreciated.
So I'm offering food and acommadation in excange for a casual 4 hour's a day to help out in the house and around the farm. The kids are here 7 days in every 14 days, so not as much help is needed in the 7 days they are not here. Which would allow host to see some of the local attractions in the area. I do not have a spare vehicle here at th... more inside

I have a horse riding business with horses. I would love one female/male who has even limited horse experience eg. rugging the horses experiene. Also some minor farm work; whipper, watering, growing vegies, perhaps some cleaning. I have a one bedroom apartment.

My property is beautiful and 8 minutes drive from Port Douglas whereupon there are a multitude of fun things to do.

I am one hour north of Cairns and 1 hour from Atherton Tablelands. I am on the coast in Far North Queensland, Australia.

We are seeking a medium to long stay Helper or Helpers (single or couple). We are veteran hosts (since 1998) and we're grateful to say we've had some really exceptional visitors from many countries. We must nurture special memories in the hearts of our backpackers as now we are experiencing a wonderful wave of 2nd generations returning to visit us with their children! One of our past helpers from 19 years ago has recently visited with his wife & 3 beautiful children! Amount others. We are lucky to have a beautiful spot, our property is 14 acres in the hinterland of the Gold Coast, just on the ocean side of Mt Tamborine. There are horses which you may like to feed and brush, peacocks and gardens. We don't have dogs so we have abundant wildlife who gather here daily.
There is so much to do on a farm, we have lots of projects on the go at the moment, from building stone gateways to house renovations, gardening, property maintenance, animal care, housework, window cleaning, m... more inside
