We need help to cover some of our comings and goings before and during kid school holidays. Dates are June 17 to July 15.

We celebrate supplying as much of our own food as possible from veggies and fruit to meat, eggs and dairy. Every animal from one of the chooks to cows and goats is named and loved, as you would expect on a property also growing two lively kids. John is actively involved in GMO-free efforts NZ wide. Becky runs a natural living magazine empowering people to make small changes that have a big impact on wellness. Hockey, sailing and swimming keep us busy with the kids in between weeding and milking a goat! We love sharing ideas and knowledge with people willing to participate in the story of food. We're grateful for you and this network.

We have a beautiful lifestyle property in Kerikeri. We provide an accommodation only exchange, in exchange for 2 hours work per day. We have 2 small solar powered cottages available in the landscaped gardens, so it is the perfect place for people who want their own space. Although we love having a few guests at once so there is a community atmosphere around. We are both travellers and love to meet people on their journeys and share stories. We live only 4km from town and provide bicycles for our guests to explore Kerikeri.

Kia Ora!
We are a family of five (two of our children living here, aged 9 and 2 years old) which makes 4 of us most of the time.
We live half an hour out from Whangarei, which is approx 2 hours from Auckland.
Katrin is from Germany and Daryn is from NZ.
We both work in Whangarei and we have 2 older horses, a cow, some chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a sheep.
We have a vegetable garden that always needs tending and some fences that need to be fixed, as well as other jobs around this place.
We can provide 1 sleeping room which is part of a large garage, not attached to our house, it has electricity, lights, bedding.
Toilet and shower is about 50 metres away in the house.
In addition to this we would offer our helpers to join us for the evening meal, and could provide basic ingredients for breakfast and lunch each day that you work here.
There is no mobile phone reception here.
Sorry, we have no TV! (But we have DVD player and limited internet access.) We... more inside

Small farm with pets, mostly pigs
2km to small town of Kerikeri.
I am a mature woman planning to breed pigs with the help of my son when he can so any extra help with the property and animals would be much appreciated. Two weeks or longer would be great so animals get to know you.. I go into Auckland most weeks so you would be welcome to come with me
Wifi and transport available.
There is the opportunity to earn some money brush cutting, clearing fields and other hard work if you wish after your four hours working for food and accommodation.
Rudolph.
